Hotel San Marco  

It is very good for fine-art-museum visitors. The location is excellent.

location spacious room there was a spacious terrace in our room but we couldn't use it because of august heat (there was no umbrella on it)

dirty floor when entering the room dirty walls, old furniture (everything needs renewal) air conditioner switched for 18C, didn't gave a cool air at all

When we first arrived we weren't so sure but once we found the entrance to the hotel, which is on the 3rd level of an apartment building, all was well. We were welcomed warmly by the owner and showed to our really cute room (no. 16). We felt very comfortable and were amazed at how close we were to the centre of everything. Great little hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at hotel San Marco. The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. We were also able to use a lift (the hotel is on the 3rd floor). We would definitely stay there again. My personal thanks go to the staff for giving us the opportunity to explore Florence since the good location saved us a lot of precious time and we could make some unforgettable memories in this wonderful Italian region.

The hotel was well situated near to the Duomo and other sights in Florence. Well working air condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was supposed to be a TV in the room but it was only a computer screen that didn't work. The bathroom had a smell as f it wasn't properly cleaned.

Hotel San Marco has excellent location (David is just a few meters from you) and the staff is really helpful. Breakfast was all right.

Parking is problem, because only localpatriots can park at that part of the city. Owner doesn't spend anything to this place, the furniture and the rooms are poor.

The location is excellent, a short walk to the duomo and main streets of Florence. Easy to find and good value for money. Pur room was huge, but we were put in a room that had a double bed a single & two pull out chair beds. So in effect our room could have slept a family and space would still be comfortable. However the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast is not until 8am and basic, but more then enough. Good coffee too!

Our room was air conditioned, but it was not working. Florence is hot and still, so we were very uncomfortable. At least we were given a good fan and placed this under the window for some relief. However it was still an issue when it is 40 degrees outside. The bathroom was a wet room, basin, bidet, toilet and shower from wall, so once you shower everything is wet, however as it was so hot it dried very quickly. This would be tough if you had a full room capacity as it is quite slippery too. Room was what I would describe as "shabby chic". The whole hotel is quite basic, but clean and reasonable value. It would have been nice to have had an early self serve breakfast when we did our day trip, it was requested & offered, but forgotten.

Simple but nice, comfortable hotel, very well-situated. Friendly staff.

Location, just outside the noise of the city centre but still close enough to the major attractions (5min walking to the Duomo). The breakfast, included in the price, was actually pretty decent.

Strange smell in the hotel and in the room. Didn't seem like it was caused by lack of hygiene, though.

Staff was friendly and spoke English. Good room if you just need a place to sleep. Feels more like a Hostel than a Hotel, but the location is good -- within walking distance of the main sights.

Hôtel bien situé, d'un rapport économique pour Florence imbattable. Accueil et contact très chaleureux et simples. Les chambres, le mobilier sont basiques mais très corrects.

enzo, il proprietario è una persona solare e simpatica, l'albergo è carino e confortevole, camere semplici ma pulite. L'hotel san marco è vicinissimo al centro e quindi una buon repporto qualita'-prezzo. Lo consiglio

Diese "Hotel" ist eine Schande!

L'albergo è in una posizione perfetta: a 2 minuti a piedi dal centro e a 10 dallo stadio. Il personale è sempre gentile e molto disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci tornerò. Consigliato.

Como o quarto estava muito sujo, a moça que nos atendeu se desculpou e nos deu um desconto. Nos pareceu correto e honesto da parte deles.

A entrada parece a de uma Choupana Medieval mal-assombrada e com um cheiro péssimo. O Elevador é minúsculo e as acomodações são "espartanas".

gentile ed efficente la gestione famigliare, semplice ed essenziale ma comoda per posizione la struttura.. la nostra camera modesta,e allo... romantica con terrazzino la cui vista sui tetti e il cupolone del duomo....

Che questo nostro stato!! non dia e lasci, la possibilita di investire per migliorare queste piccole strutt famigl.. ed invece le soffochi con tasse e burocrazzia assurda...

La posizione, e la disponibilità del portire.

Отель расположен в доме, то есть раньше там были просто квартиры, которые потом переделали в гостиницу. У отеля одна звезда заявлена, но мне кажется, можно даже больше дать. Просторный светлый номер с отдельной ванной комнатой в окном. Да, там дешевая мебель, но это не страшно. На завтраке обслуживает очень милая добродушная женщина Все было очень вкусно. Радушные хозяева. Однажды у нас почему-то внезапно перестала работать батарея (потом она сама как-то опять заработала), так хозяин сам принес нам по лестнице обогреватель и поставил его у нас в комнате, хотя мы не жаловались на холод, просто пришли спросить что случилось с батареей

La atención de todo el personal fue excelente!! La habitación muy espaciosa y la calefacción muy buena.

Salía muy poca agua de la ducha. El desayuno no nos gustó; era abundante pero no de buena calidad.
