Hotel San Marco  

Locatie in de stad is uitstekend: om de hoek van het accademiamuseum en tien minuten lopen van de dom. Taxistandplaats naast het hotel op piazza san Marco. Twee aparte bedden gevraagd en gekregen. Eigenaar van het hotel zeer vriendelijk,maar ook Wat langdradig.

Onaantrekkelijk entree, lift naar receptie op derde verdieping is beangstigend klein. Echt een budgethotel. Badkamer niet echt schoon maar bruikbaar. Gebouw erg gehorig. Hotel maakt een niet onderhouden indruk.

Het ontbijt in huiskamer-sfeer, met persoonlijke bediening, was aangenaam. Er heerst een gemoedelijke en gastvrije sfeer.

Het hotel is behoorlijk versleten, heeft een oubollige inrichting en ligt op een rumoerige plek.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from central cathedral, taxi parking is close. Railway station Santa Lucia is 15 minutes walk - excellent location

No hot water was available, shower was hardly warm which was quite uncomfortable in January. Walls very thin, I could hear nearly everything my neighbors were speaking.

The location is excellent, price is good and personal is friendly.

The location was excellent. 10 minutes walk from the train station. Right around the corner from San Marco square. You can leave your luggage after you check out at no extra cost. The sheets were clean.

The owner was incredibly rude which would have mostly been funny if the room weren't filthy. There was black mold in the tile grout, scum in the soap dish, dirty streaks on the tiles. I didn't take a shower while I was there and wore flip-flops around the room because the floor was so dirty. The buildings ground floor was almost mideval in it's lack of hygiene and pervasive smell of sewage. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Outstanding hotel, in a wonderful location, just a minute to the Accademia, and only 10 mins. from the train station as well as 5 mins. to the Duomo. Clean rooms with AC. Good Italian breakfast every morning. A great deal for the price. We had room 16, which was wonderful, up on the third floor, roomy and secluded, it kind of felt like a little cabin.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good choice and quantity of breakfast, convenient location, air-con in room. En suite room had roof terrace. Free wi-fi.

Other guests arriving were a bit noisy at night; room was a little bare, but overall nothing much to complain about.

Hotel is value for money, clean rooms, pleasant personell, light breakfast, if you plan just to sleep here it will be good for you

This hotel was very clean. Staff were very kind. Location was very good for sight sing in Firenze.

The man at reception was very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was spacious, well kept and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is very central: about 15 minute walking distance from the Duomo. Excellent value for money if you're on a tight budget!

The hotel was centrally located in Florence. You could walk almost anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most hotels in this category. Good internet access.

It was a little difficult to find. When you stepped inside the doors to the ground floor of the building it was dark and concrete, a bit disconcerting. The hotel was on the fourth floor (although the sign said the third).
