The hotel location is very good for travelers. There is enough parking places in this hotel. It is really close to every kind of sights in Catania. Located at the main street of Catania (via Etna). |

Right locatoin, just right! Central street, but not in the crowded part of it. Quiet all the day long, even on the street side. Poor breakfast, but it's usual for Italy. |

The hotel is very peaceful and the staff is very kind; The renovations made in the hotel were very tasteful and the outside green areas for resting and parking are a plus. |

Extremely friendly people, very good location, good parking, totally worth the money. I recommend it 100% If your room opens to the Via Etnea you cannot let your windows opened because of the street noise. |

great location, rooms and staff. some would also appreciate a private parking after observing scratches and missing mirrors of cars parked on the narrow streets of Catania there is some space for breakfast improvement |

Well equiped with satellite TV, Wifi and minibar included. Good isolation of the room, and really not far from the main activities French channel TV5 was not working |

Friendly staff The sign for car park is hard to see, especially on the back side of hotel where the entry is located. I circled for a half-hour before finding the gate. Also, it is not clear how to get the gate to open on entering or exiting. Breakfast was minimal but o.k. for the price. |

Very friendly and personal welcome. The rooms are very spacious with large bathroom, especially for a hotel in the city center this is rare, as goes for the private car park. Very nice brioches at the Italian breakfast....so really excellent place for visiting Catania and to be recommended! |

My experience to the San Max Hotel was very positive. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from the Cathedral. The hotel was clean and a free parking was available. Breakfast was "Italian style", maybe not very abundant for foreigners, but everything was very good. The staff was very kind and helpful for every need. |

Excellent value for money, secure free parking, breakfast not too sweet-Italian. There was no internet in my room despite the website saying "free wired internet in hotel rooms". Staff spoke Italian only and check-in, check-out were both very slow.. Payment by credit card was not possible when I was checking out. Quite a lot of road noise (so left the air conditioning on all night to mask it). |

The room clean, pleasant and quiet. The staff very kind. Very comfortable bad. The hotel has a private parking. Good location. Good value, I recommend. Breakfrast could be better (little choice of food and beverage). Only sweet food, no sausage, cheese or meat dishes. |

A nice cosy hotel in Catania... The staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable, the internet works without problems and the location of the hotel is central and very easy to find... The breakfast by Italian standards is good but lack fruits and cheeses |

The room was clean, spacious and quiet. The hotel has a private parking. The co-owner/receptionist was extremely helpful with all the telephone calls and internet searches we had to make. When we simply asked for a cup of hot water to make our own herbal tea, we got a pot of tea ánd several pieces of cake. However, for this roomservice we were charges EUR 15. |

Great location and quick access to facility in the area. Friendly and helpful front desk receptionist. A large room was provided with an excellent array of amenities. Limited breakfast with little choice of food and beverage. Altogether still acceptable and good value. |
