Hotel San Michele    

Comfortable room with a GORGEOUS patio with an incredible view. A lovely property...a bit "tired" but we were among first visitors of the season and it will certainly be "spruced" up, I'm sure as spring progresses. The pool wasn't open as it was still very cool, but it was huge and beautiful as were the grounds.

Bad wiring in wall behind mirror in bathroom caused tremendous heat on the mirror. Heat ceased when circuit was turned off, yet hotel management and maintenance claimed it was "plumbing behind wall". Maybe they thought we were stupid enough to believe that?? Needless to say, we did not use that circuit again, although it diminished the light in the bathroom considerably. I are concerned because the hotel response exposed guests to potentially disasterous consequences. Did they just not want/have another room for us?

nice staff and an amazing view. Very traditional hotel with an older feel to it. Beds and rooms in general looked as though they had not been touched for 20 years plus.

Charming old building, excellent cappuccino at breakfast. Excellent 50m pool for cooling off and laps after a hike up Monte Solaro, or a trip to Grota Azzura. Short walk to Anacapri centro and all its charms.

Would be good to have a la carte dining.

We had two rooms - one on the fourth floor with a great view and balcony. It was truly a special experience. The location was pretty good.

We had two rooms - one on the second floor with a fake ocean view and a sort of balcony - not a special experience but only a bit cheaper than our other room. Pool staff was peculiar and unfriendly. This was not the luxury place we had anticipated - and thus, we got up early on our last day and headed for the ferry.

This place have two advantages - spectacular view (I think, the best in Anacapri) and lobby with lots of ancient things (mirrors, pictures in old frames, furniture)

This hotel should upgrade its rooms, because their level is between 2* and 3*. We arrived at 11 pm, they didn't have a porter, wifi was only near the door, taking a shower seems to be a dangerous adventure. So we slept just one night and in the morning we checked out and they even didn't ask why. I think we were not the first who were cheated by pretty pictures in Internet and saw absolutely different picture in real life. By the way, people who were sitting in terrace and having a breakfast were not happy. All. And I understand why. So we moved to Capri palace and were so happy with our holiday in beautiful place

This hotel was lovely. Someone picked me up from the marina and drove me to the hotel- saves you the cost of a taxi (also drove me back to the marina the day I left). You drive up to what seems like the top of a mountain, looking over the sea below. The view was incredible. I stayed in a single room which had a balcony (I think they all do)- out on the balcony to the one side you could see the ocean. All the staff were incredibly nice and accomodating. When I was leaving the hotel to travel back to Naples, I was unsure how to get to my hotel in Naples from Pompeii and the man at the desk called my hotel in Naples and got directions for me. They also recommended area restaurants (note: many places charge a "cover charge" of 2 euro per person to eat at the restaurant- didn't expect that). What else can I say besides this was perfect? I would have loved to have gone with my husband as it seemed very romantic. If I have the opportunity to go to Anacapri again, I would most definately stay here again.

There was nothing I didn't like. Was a great experience.

A beautiful hotel in the town of Anacapri on the Island of Capri. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some rooms have porches. We had an impromptu cocktail party one evening on the hotel's large second floor porch.

Its location in the center of the island, at walking distances from the axel munth house as well as the beautiful church of San Michele in Anacapri, and at a short bus ride from active nightclubbing in Capri;

Charging 30 euros for an omelette and a soup seems a bit exxagerated even if it is served in a beautiful diner room with a magnificent view.

Per carità se potete evitare è meglio. Non è affatto un Hotel 4 stelle. Vecchio, con mobili ovunque e vecchissimi. Per non parlare della colazione, servizio pessimo. Si deve rincorrere la cameriera per un caffè. Ed eravamo solo noi. Mai più.

Le restaurant tres cher. Un menu a 30€ tres mediocre. Boules de glace pour dessert. Pas de "wine list".......

Inizialmente il costo della camera e della cena a 30Euro

Il costo della camera a mio avviso è anche ben pagato considerata la struttura fatiscente, vecchia e trascurata senza parlare dei servizi che lasciano veramente a desiderare. Il costo della cena è vergognoso considerato che il menu comprende due portate e il desser con la scelta di due primi piatti "pasta al ragu' e pasta con il pesto" e due secondi piatti "scaloppina ai carciofi e pesce in guazzetto", il desser comprendeva una fetta di costrata o una pallina di gelato...in una menza di lavoro vi assicuro che si mangia meglio. In tutto cio' le bevande non sono incluse quindi una semplice bottiglia di acqua e un bicchiere di vino "pessimo" hanno maggiorato il prezzo di 15Euro vergognoso!!!!

Ottima posizione, camera spaziosa con vista e balcone, vasca da bagno, disponibilità del personale.

Очень внимательный персонал, комфортные номера (кондиционер, отдельный балкон с цветами, мини-бар и холодильник, душ, комфортная кровать, шкаф), чисто. Мне очень понравился бассейн с баром на территории отеля, где можно позагорать как на шизлогах, так и на газоне. Хорошая ухоженная территория отеля: фонтан с золотыми рыбками)) пальмы, цветы - все ухоженное и красивое! Завтрак однообразный, но выбор большой! ужин можно заказать тоже в отеле - вкусно и гораздо дешевле, чем в городе! есть ночной бар, где по вечерам живая музыка! Самое главное - потрясающий вид из отеля на Неаполитанский залив и материк, где в том числе виден и Везувий и о. Искья! Даже сами итальянцы отмечают, что этот отель очень хороший и знаменит своим прекрасным видом на море!!!

Иногда в ресторане отеля проводятся банкеты (как правило, свадьбы)...и наверное, в этот вечер не поужинать в отеле! Но при этом проведение данных мероприятий никак не мешает отдыхающим отеля!!!

La piscine, les parties communes, le petit déjeuner dans sa magnifique salle avec vue sur la mer

Mauvais rapport qualité prix : chambre "vieillote" mais propre, literie moyenne, rez de chaussée, vue sur le parking, pas de vue sur la mer dans notre chambre

Cordialita, efficienti in tutti i servizi, servizio navetta, piscina, OTTIMO le camere (vista monte) che però devo dire si vede anche una bella porzione di mare che ho apprezzato.

Per quello che si paga, la camera tipo standard. Anche se e' un albergo storico, dovrebbero essere un po modernizzate.
