The staff was amazing and very friendly.

Staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet good. Quite central to walk around the city centre.

Wifi is difficult to get in the room. Found this with many of the hotels in Italy.

Staff very friendly, rooms clean and silent. Good position in the center of town.

Room clean. Good facilities. We were saddened greatly with circumstances of central city; little has changed since earthquake nearly four years ago. Staff were still upbeat about it and tried their very best to make our stay enjoyable. A terrific group of people. This hotel will be our only choice when coming back to L'aquila

Friendly and comfortable hotel in L'Aquila, away from the most depressing scenes of destruction and intense reconstruction work. Very friendly staff, nice room with all amenities, well functioning, free WiFi. Very good restaurant around the corner (La grotta di Aligi - we did not at all understand the negative ratings on tripadvisor).

Excellent breakfast

L'Aquila is a city that suffered a massive earthquake in April 2009 & the CBD was effectively destroyed. We went there to study what had happened & compare it to the earthquakes that have devastated Christchurch in NZ (where we work). This hotel was unaffected so is fully operational & very well appointed with incredibly helpful reception staff. Most hotels in the city centre are closed.

Hotel San Michele was excellent! I would stay there again in a heart beat. It was very clean, the staff was very attentive and helpful with directions and making dinner reservations, etc. The location was great too! A great place to stay when visiting the Abruzzi region.

Hotel in ottima posizione, molto disponibili e corretti. Spero che l'aquila torni ad essere la città del suo grande passato.

Chambre supposée pour 3 adultes, en pratique le 3ème lit était de très petite taille et encombrait la chambre ! Pas de climatisation dans la chambrealors que c'est dans l'annonce de l'hôtel. Pas de prise de courant près des tables de nuit.

Premettendo che il mio soggiorno presso il san Michele è stato di una sola notte, ho trovato tutto ciò di cui avessi bisogno. Pulizia, buona colazione, posizione non distante dal centro, Staff molto gentile.
