Enjoy the intact atmosphere of Italian middle ages at Miravalle Palace Hotel, set right under the Tower of Frederick in the ancient square of the castle, facing the Duomo Cathedral.

Score from 3 reviews Exceptional
Stunning views from our room's balcony. Striking restaurant in the converted chapel.
No sheltered bicycle storage. (We used the hotel car park.)
Having to ask for a hot breakfast each morning, it was never offered, although 'full english breakfast' was advertised. Hot water & coffee left out at self service breakfast was cold .
the comfort and size of superior rooms.
dogs being allowed in the hotel.
nice location great breakfast good cleaning good wifi good quality of bed a lot of TV channels very clean bath room
very thin walls, could not sleep longer than 8 in the morning (cleaning process) a lot of mosquito (not the fault of the hotel) rooms could be a bit more bright
Friendly helpful staff and management. Good restaurant and wine. Comfortable, clean and quiet.
Nothing...all was good.
Location is amazing, nice to walk around town and up to the Tower. The town is quite small and personal.
The restaurant is new so we tried it out, but it doesn't even compare to the food in the town.
WiFi, rooftop view, location, attention to detail
Aircon, room view
The location is very nice on a hill. The ancient building is very nice rebuild as a hotel. Staff was friendly.
We had to walk uphill to reach this hotel. The slope was very steep, no problem for cars.
The building has character and the rooms are spacious and well converted -it used to be a prison we were told. Great location.
The bathroom was big enough to have fitted a decent size shower. Howecer, the cubicle installed was so small that it was difficult to shower without accidentally turn off the tap or knock the door open. Really, no need to go this small!
Very friendly & helpful staff. Spacious clean modern bedrooms. Good food, good drink & centrally located. Short drive from Pisa airport, ideal for a weekend break or longer.
Large clean room. Wide selection @ breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff.
The high cost of the spa.
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. Breakfast was really good and well served. Staff were extremely friendly. Hotel rooms are very spacious, spotless clean and comfortable. Strong wifi connection. Easy parking in their parking space. We definitely recommend this hotel.
Great location between Pisa and Florence. The room size and the design was good and the cleanliness impressive. Breakfast buffet ok. Good price.
The bathroom design and comfort very simple.
The hotel is right in the ancient town center, which was very convenient. There is daily breakfast, including fresh espresso or American coffee, fruit and pastries. The rooms are amazingly quiet even when there is noise outside!
The walls of the tiny shower stall are folding accordion doors, and it was impossible not to flood the floor. The manager was a little grumpy, for whatever reason.
We went there during the Truffle Festival and you could not enter the city with your car unless you were a local or a turist which stayed at a hotel with parking lot. So the parking was a biiig plus. Everything was clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was good (yummy cheese, house made gems, etc)
The location was fantastic and central to the hill town, with views across the valley, the room was fine, comfortable and certainly 3 star. The hotel restaurant is in a beautiful converted church which is stunning - we enjoyed our meal (truffle tasting menu) although there was nothing of exceptional note besides maybe the beef carpaccio with white truffles and parmesan.
The service wasn't great, we didn't feel that the manager had his staff jumping, our pre arranged breakfast wasn't delivered to our room and had to be chased up, the following day we had breakfast in the hotel - not exciting either. The shower in the room was tepid. There weren't many luxuries here (although we had a suite) and it seemed they had employed a good marketing team to give the place a make over, but in general we didn't feel their service matched the marketing.
The staff was friendly, always with a smile on their face, and always ready to help. Facilities in the hotel were excellent. The location was good given that we used a car to travel around.
Quality of the rooms (superior) helpfulness of the staff in finding somewhere to eat in town and helping with reservations. The location and parking. Breakfast
No evening food which was not clear at the time of booking. No ice and lemon for the Gin & Tonic in the evening
Very comfortable bed. Great location in the historic town. Great breakfast.
Very small shower and lots of mosquitos
very friendly staff, central location in San Miniato, great for trips within Tuscany
would be better to pay more attention when cleaning the bathroom
We stayed in this hotel in the 2nd half of August for 6 nights. Everything was perfect! The room was clean(bathroom too, but with a small shower), big and the view!!! Wow! Incredible! Free wifi( fast) in the whole building. The staff was really kind and friendly and helpful. The owner(?) made a very delicious cappuccino( according to my husband those were the best, that he had ever drunk). Breakfast rich and delicious:hams, cheeses, teas, cakes(best crostatas), fruits, yoghurts, granolas, cornflakes etc. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants to see Tuscany, because San Miniato is in the middle, not far from any famous tuscan towns.
The hotel is conveniently located in a hilltop town in Tuscany near the main routes between Firenze and Pisa. San Miniato is quiet and there is not much going on. But is a nice medieval town to wander in and the area is beautiful.
The continental breakfast was poor.
