Score from 21 reviews Wonderful
The apartment was spacious with a kitchen so we could cook at the apartment had a railway station, and bus line that comes Ottaviano metro station, opposite the apartment has a super cheap, internet worked great and the landlord was very nice and tried're happy with the apartment
The apartment was quite far from the center and had to walk about a quarter of an hour to get to the metro station, or wait for a bus for ages and that we have wasted a lot of time on waiting. The apartment is really not Vía street Grmnico and when you get there can be a stick out and there is no mention of the hotel is there, and what floor it is (4th floor), also need to call the hotel owner to come and take you car to God knows where The boiler in the apartment was very small and outdated and it took him a long time to heat the water, so we had to shower in freezing water, in addition to the hotel owner did not know a word of English so it was very hard to communicate with him .... Breakfast was some Korasonim and Mafinsim wrapped snacks such as spreads and no extra
Location None positive thing could compensate the bad things
No hot water, not even enough caudal of cold water, a nightmare to have a shower. Shared bathrooms. No wifi.
walking distance to the Vatican Museum and the train station.
it is hard to get hold of the staff.
Staff spoke only Italian
Wifi and location were good
An extra cost of 25 euros for late checkin that was unexpected. Only one key and old building with a very small elevator. Staff doesnt speak english and poor customer service. You have to share the bathroom.
We were no where near where we thought we would be BUT got away with it. The room we ended up with was clean with facilities and reasonably close the the Vatican. However please note it is not a hotel in any shape or form. You have to be prepared to make the best of a situation. We did after the first hours frustrations but it is fair everyone knows what to expect.
It is not a hotel. San Peter Angels is a plaque on a wall and you have to spot it, make a telephone call and wait there until someone comes, in our case an hour 10pm until 11pm and THREE phone calls needed. We were then taken by car to god knows where, went into a normal block of residential apartments and settled into a room. A very strange start. However, we did not let this put us off. We are seasoned travellers but would have liked to know in advance what to expect.
The house is very comfortable and housekeepers were always at hand
In the weekend, stuff for breakfast was eventually getting short. Hot water worked, but boiler needed frequent resetting
Location, easy access to Vantican museum and metro station.
Staff are not available most time. We were locked outside for 45minutes on the day we arrived to be let in as there was no one there! Breakfast was all packed snack.
Rooms were clean
Room flooded from aircon overnight, noisey hallway hardly slept, shared bathroom occupied during morning and evening, no staff available, 'breakfast' is packaged processed snacks wouldn't be considered breakfast, on our last day the manager woke us up and said we needed to leave an stay at a hotel downstairs she wouldn't say what the problem with the room was, after a lot of confusion we left and stayed at Art & Rooms Hotel 2 floors down (absolutely perfect) we should've stayed there the whole time!! Make sure you call or email the manager (in Italian, no English) to let you into the building when you first arrive otherwise you'll be locked out on the street as we were.
Travelled from Wales to Rome to be locked out of the building. After finally getting hold of the owners, we had to wait 45 mins on the road side for the owners to arrive, only to be told that we were not actually staying in that building, but in a different location. We had no directions on how to find the new location and had to rely on the local police to help us in our way back.
The location-superb! Two steps from the Vatican. The landlord very helpful and nice. The room was spotlessly clean, we had a private bathroom and could even use the kitchen. To be recommended!
there`re a supermarket, reustarants near the apartment. Wi-fi worked very well.
We lived in the branch of the main one. And it was terrible... There`re 2 rooms and a lot of places to sleep. But apartment is very cold, wet with unpleasant smell of dampness. Only two persons can take swower very fast one by one because warm water ends instantaneous. The kitchen has a lot of difference from fotos. So fotos are untrue. There`re only 2 peace of pots, salt and coffee(no coffee-machine). No sugar, no tea, no anything else. It`s very difficult to cook with so many pots. So if you come there with family, you`ll have many problems. And location of this apartments isn`t good. It`s far from metro (about 20-25 min by foot) So, if the owners`ll(they couldn`t speak english, so all talks are difficult) suggest you to live in this extra appartments, won`t agree. It mars your holiday. The apartment doesn`t satisfy promition. We came very late in the night, so couldn`t notice all this things. The owners made us a reduction(we didn`t pay tax), but nevertheless price with this rebait was out of that place.
Excellent location for Vatican City. Nice restaurants in close area, mini market shop just on the other side of B&B.Really quite street. Elevator avaliable for full comfort.
Good location，big room，friendly staff and a coffee machine！！！
the staff can speak English would be better^_^
The room is spacey. Location is very near to the Vatican City．
Too noisy at night!!! can't have a sound sleep!!
Everything! The hosts were vibrant, helpful and although not on site, were always available. It was just a couple of km's from The Vatican (walking distance) and the bus facilities for further destinations like Colosseum and Trevi Fountain were on your doorstep. The room was spotless, bright and comfortable. Amenities all within walking distance, for example, chemist, supermarket, coffee shops, etc
Good location. Nice and clean.
Does not speak English. We had difficulties to chek-in because owner came late. Other guests had the same problem.
Close to Vatican. This is good since we really wanted to get as close to Vatican as we can. Instead of a room with shared bathroom, we were given an apartment. Carre Four is just a few steps away. There were restaurants and souvenir shops on our way to St. Peter's Square, which is just a few meters away.
The address specified is not where the accommodation is. We were brought to a place on the other side of Vatican (near Roma S. Pietro station). The apartment was better than we expected, however, they didn't have luggage storage so we have to get our luggage early morning to Termini and go back to Vatican to attend the mass.
Was great, close to Vatican, really clean! Just toilet can be better. We was really happy with apt!
Better show will be great:) I love shower so maybe this is why for me was not good - for you can be ok:)
Betty and François are very nice, the room was clean and confortable.
Breakfast to small
It is a wonderful place. Very clean and cosy. It is 5 min. from Vatican and the metrostation is near. We recommend this place because of the great conditions and location and polite welcome :)
It was really close to the vatican and to other important sites. The house was clean and you could use the washing machine if you needed it.
The breakfast wasn't really what we expected. There was some coffee in the house and croissants.
very friendly owners great place in the center near Vatican
non comfortable bed very-very small bath room
