Breakfast could have used a variety of meats

Professionalism and diligence of staff. The nice garden which makes breakfast (despite reservations on the quality - see below) a delicious time. Authenticity of that old building and the way it is decorated in a not-too-venetian-style-show-off manner. The absolute practicallity of the location in Dorsoduro, 3 minutes from San Basilio vaporetto stop and the most handy lines number 1 and 2, 20 minutes from Piazzale Roma (bus for airport) or Ferrovia ; in other words really central for all touristic, shopping, cultural spots. The best value for money ever experienced in Venice (although prices could be considered rather high given the low quality of breakfast).

The buffet breakfast is rather cheap (tinned marmalade same as that you can find in 2 stars hotels, meat and cheese selection very limited, jice out of the bottle ...). Also breakfast time (ends at 10.00) too limited especially when you are on holidays and wish to stay some time in bed durting week-end. Although one will gently serve you coffee and hot drinks after that "closing time" the buffet at that time is somewhat a desolation ... Anyway such a limited breakfast end time put pressure on caring guests who do not want to be impolite and disturbing by showing up much later. A rather bad point.

The receptonist, Paola, was wonderful. She was very helpful. The room was very nice, and it was in a good location.

They had a wonderful garden but would not let you use it for either wine or food. Too restrictive.

There was no hot water each night for showeing, they kept saying that if you wait an hour, there would then be enough, no reinbursment was offered. this is a problem that has been going on for a long time so we heard.

Breakfast was basic,unlike all the other hotels we stayed in on our holiday.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They would invariably greet you with a smile. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious. Convenient location close to the Vaporetto station. Excellent hotel, would definitely recommend it but pricey

Excellent location in a part of Venice off the main tourist routes. Very well renovated hotel clean and beautifully done. Good breakfast.

Clean, spacious room. Large bathroom, endless hot water, a bath! Friendly, polite, staff, excellent buffet breakfast.

Prices`for the mini bar were ridiculous. Some drawers in the room would have been useful.

dans quartier calme et , jardin plaisant et surtout belle vue pour la suite junior donnant sur le canal avec ses deux salles de bains et 60 m2 de surface. Chambre bien insonorisée, hyper propre et bien décorée. Vraiment un must

ise una reserva de habitación doble de luxe, y cuando llegué al hotel no me coincidía la habitación con la foto, cama blanca con su tela arriba, y lo que me digeron que la reserva era con vistas y no dije con vistas a donde, y yo que sé del hotel. en fin , bien pero elegí ese hotel por la habitación, si lo llego a saber me quedo con otro.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut und ist vom Bahnhof aus mit dem Vaporetto sehr gut zu erreichen. Ausserdem ist der Stadtteil Dorsoduro einer der ruhigsten und liebenswertesten in Venedig. Gute nicht überteuerte Restaurants sind vom Hotel aus zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen.

Hunderte Gelsen im Zimmer (Plafond war übersät davon) - dürfte eigentlich nicht vorkommen und wurde vom Personal völlig ingnoriert. Das Zimmer im obersten Stock gelegen, hatte Dachbalken, von denen der Staub nur so rieselte. Unsere diesbezügliche Beschwerde wurde ignoriert. Das zweite Zimmer in Erdgeschoß hatte Wasserflecken und abbröckelde Wände im Badezimmer.
