Located 800 metres from Castel Nuovo Maschio Angioino Castle, the Culture Centro Storico is an intimate hotel with its own art gallery.

With a seafront location on Naples’s Via Partenope, this hotel has free Wi-Fi. It offers cinema-themed rooms with a flat-screen TV.
Score from 529 reviews Excellent
Located right on the seafront, the prestigious Grand Hotel Vesuvio overlooks the Gulf of Naples, the island of Capri and Mount Vesuvius. These views can be admired from its rooftop restaurant.
Score from 682 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Britannique is in a quiet area of Naples, a 10-minute walk from the Via dei Mille shopping district and the Vomero area. All rooms overlook the Gulf of Naples.
Score from 209 reviews Good
Mini bar not stocked still had previous guest's empty snack containers Staff did not have our excurtions correctly booked Quality of food below average Bath room diry and toilet paper not re-filled
The view on the bay of Naples and the Vesuvio is amazing, the 4th floor B'fast room and terrace, and the 7th floor panoramic pool and rest area are really fantastic (pool could be improved and widened though); Rooms are good and elegant or the price, but not all of them be aware! B'fast is good, staff dedicated
Difficulty to access the hotel at night because after the funicular is closed, taxis are asking for outrageous prices from the Via Toledo or the central square in Naples (15€, although there is an official 8€ rate), when it is only 2 miles away (but on the top of the hill!) Some rooms do not have a full view (those on the left of the monastery when looking at the façade) on the bay of Naples, are small and require to be repainted... Beds are a little hard (old style spring mattresses with a guaranteed trampoline effect...) No free water in the room and quite expensive mini-bar (3€ for small bottles of water) Safe in rooms do not work Rooms doors do not have a very safe locking system, given the hotel is in located in Naples...
The view!!! The best ever! The pool! The history! Naples is so interesting. This hotel is perfect.
fabulous views, hotel was amazing with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. very friendly staff. good location - short 2 minute walk down hill to funicular and short ride down to town, though nothing within walking distance of the hotel.
noisy airconditioning - beds a little hard - music and candles on tables on 7th floor and keep bar open so guests can enjoy the view with a drink after the restaurant closed.
Great location, amazing view over the beautiful city of Naples. Great outdoor areas for relaxing after visiting the city. Nicely decorated rooms with an old style feeling. Very helpful staff and very special atmosphere.
The omnipresent, inappropriate and loud music in the pool and breakfast room.
service ! view, location AC, pool
because it is located in an old monastery, there is only the stairs and one small elevator - with longer waiting times. We couldn't get the massage part of the shower to work, which had clearly seen better days, the rest of the bathroom was brand new.
Wonderful views and friendly service. Quiet hotel with real character. Having a pool was an added bonus. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were good and the views are fabulous. Great place to stay if you are willing to use public transport and are not bothered about local nightlife.
Not everything in the room worked as well as it could have (electricity sockets and the Jacuzzi bit of the shower) this did not affect our stay.
This small hotel is the perfect base for your stay in Naples! The view is fantastic and the beds are great! Take the "funiculare" to get back up on the hillside! Friendly staff all over the place! Thanks for a very nice stay :-)
The view was fabulous, and the hotel complex was fantastic and great, lovley pool area and roof garden. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice resturant. Big spashious rooms, great hot tub and shower.
The room was a bit dusty, and worn down in the paint. The toilet seat was waggly and the flusher was half broken. The two tw's did not workshop propoly. But all this are minor problems. We missed a bar to visit in the lobby at night. And sine more visual info on the hotels exciting past.
Warm staff, fabulous location and nothing was ever too much trouble. Pool area was a very pleasant way to end a hectic day of sight seeing. We loved it!!
More attention was needed to have staff actually being available to serve in the bar for an afternoon aperitivo- we often had to go in search of a bar tender, but not a biggie!!
Restaurant expensive and disappointing
There was nothing not to like. Friendly professional staff. Lovely night time views. Value for money and we were not disappointed. Thank you for making our stay an enjoyable one.
Helpful and friendly staff.
The one lift was inadequate. However I used the interesting network of stairs in this converted monastery.
Rooftop pool is an oasis of calm in a crazy city. Reception staff & bar staff very friendly and extremely helpful.
Restaurant was overpriced and service was poor. The maître de actually apologised for being rude (his words). Food was okay but not worth the money. Bathroom was a bit shabby and needed updating. Wifi was poor.
The views from the 4th floor outdoor restaurant were amazing - what a pity though that someone build a rath tall building right in front of Vesuvius!
The restaurant was over priced - we would have eaten there more often if their prices were more realistic. Just a short walk away is an amazing traditional resaurant that delivers excellence at 1/3rd of the price and their views are good too!
Beautiful views over Naples, wonderful location - easy to get into town but not in the centre, but the main selling point of this hotel is the roof garden... Absolutely stunning and a real treat after a hectic day in the city! Staff were super helpful and lovely too :-)
It wouldn't stop us coming back, but the beds and pillows were a bit too firm - not so good for people who tend to sleep on their sides.
Gorgeous hotel overlooking the city. Our room was spacious and beautiful with spectacular views. Super luxurious and comfortable. The pool area and restaurants were also splendid. Taking the fenicular from that peaceful paradise directly into the craziness and chaos of Naples was perfect
The view was marvelous, and also the roof garden:)
I would have like to know more about the history of the place (an old monastery).....
The hotel is located on a heel overlooking to the bay, a fantastic view which made our holiday unforgetable. The Hotel is decorated like a castel, which is very special. The room was decorated very nicely and was very clean. The breakfast and the dinner on the balcony was like a dream. And the friendly staff make you feel very comfortable.
The streets are narrow and overparked, but the hotel takes care of your car and keep it in a safe parking.
The location, the view, the staff( they came out to help us with our suitcases), the pool which luckily not closed at 5 pm while the wheater was so nice!
There was no scale for the luggage but the staff was very helpful and in the basement they found one so we were very happy!
excellent spacy room and view of Napoli
no breakfast or coffee for guests leaving before restaurant opening hours
We loved the beautiful views over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius, the gorgeous sympathetic conversion to a hotel, the rooms in which you could imagine monk's cells ( although they would have been very sparse), the art works, statues and friezes and exposed corners and arches of original building. Great staff, super helpful and friendly, gorgeous roof and restaurant terrace. Hearing church bells ring all over the city.
The hard synthetic pillows, no jug of water in the room and the roof bar was not open while we were there. The rubbish piled high on the pavement on the way to the funicular.
Great View of Naples from the room, restaurant terrace or the rooftop... nice rooms, excellent service, delicious breakfast
Dinner in restaurant wasn't that good
The excellent view of the city and the Vesuvius on the background. The rooms themself were very clean. Parts of the hotel still have the atmosphere of the old monastry and were kept in style.
The maintainance of the roof terrace and the swimming pool (was not in use during our stay) was very bad. building materials were not removed. My daughter slept on a sleeping couch, while I asked for 3 beds. The matrasses were too soft. English of the staff was not very good, although they tried to be helfull.
great and friendly staff the food was tops, great views and hotel was something special, oh and the most important thing the bed so comfortable,,,
