Friendly staff, great location comfortable rooms.

Couldn't get room service for food & drinks after 10.30pm. Couldn't even go to the bar/resturant to collect wine or snacks. Not sure why as there was members 2 staff on reception?

Location very convenient, just 50m from the scala mobili taking you up to the alta citta, and 200m from the old Rwy Terminus (Sta. Anna), occupies a new building

We stayed at Sangallo Palace to attend the Chocolate festival. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was great as it was only a very short walk to the escalator to take you up the top of the town. Breakfast was great as it had a huge range of options. It was really useful having access to the computers/internet downstairs. I would recommend Sangallo Palace to future travelors.

We stayed here when we went to Perugia for the chocolate festival. It was a great location. Right next to an underground parking facility, the bus station, and it was only a few escalator trips to get to the center of town for the festival. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and they all went above and beyond in customer service. From fixing an issue with a room location, to offering restaurant suggestions, to information about the festival and local business suggestions, it was all done with a smile. It was a pleasure to stay here.

The Sangallo Palace was in the best possible location to visit Perugia and surrounding area. A few steps to the escalator that brings you up to the center of town and a few steps to the bus station which takes you to the train or surrounding towns. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. The price was excellent and the breakfast was good but not as good as other hotels I visited during my trip to Italy.

We thought the Sangallo Palace's facilities and service were both excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean, and staff were helpful. We enjoyed the swimming pool. We would be happy to come to this hotel again (assuming a similarly competitive price).

The breakfast was nothing special, especially the coffee from syrup out of a machine. The desk folks were brisk with questions. No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby living room. I would not choose it again.

Very comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Easy access by foot to center of city.

No onsite parking and the public parking is expensive.

The breakfast was great. A lot of choices and our kids liked it because it was Buffett style but still classy.

The beds were so hard. A fancy hotel but bad beds!

The hotel as convenient to everything you wanted to do in the city of Perugia. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the reception staff at the front desk could not have been more helpful, friendly and accomodating. The hotel was clean. We were traveling with another mature couple and the hotel had at least 2 tour buses of visitors. It never seemed congested and it was very quiet. Umberto on the front desk was most helpful to us in finding wonderful and delicious city restaurants. Umberto is friendly, has a great sense of humor and his English is impeccable.

Nothing. If and when I return to Perugia, I shall stay at the Sangallo Palace.

Room not very large; no tub in the bathroom.

Normally, the Sangallo Palace would be quite the walk to the center of Perugia, but right near the hotel is an escalator that goes to the center. The staff was very friendly and they gave us a room that was actually two rooms in one. They only charged us for one. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The exercise facility was adequate and the indoor pool was nice in the heat of summer.

We were in Perugia for the Umbria Jazz festival in July. The Sangallo turned out to be a great location - halfway between the outdoor arena below and the city center above (via escalator). The room was quite comfortable; the included breakfast was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.
