The staff, especially Laura on the bar were excellent.

The waitresses in the breakfast buffet were very friendly

Very clean, quiet, great staff and good breakfast. We recommend it and would stay there again.

It's not exactly close to historical center but we've already knew it. Nothing that walking 30 minutes or taking a taxi (good option in winter!) for about 10 euros can't solve! You have to pay for internet.

It is 4 stars, and a great value for the money. We compared the price with other 4 stars in Florence, and it was a good value. The staff was helpful, the room and common areas very clean, breakfast was great, and we had an all around wonderful experience.

5 euros for internet!!! In this day and age, anyone saying they are a luxury hotel needs to provide free wireless, at least in the lobby. This was just silly. Additionally, it is a little bit outside of the downtown, but my husband and I are young and didnt mind walking. Older guests may have to take a bus or taxi to the downtown--20-25 minute walk

Very clean rooms and facilities. Staff was very friendly.

Garage for parking the car is about three blocks from hotel.

Staff were very polite and a lot of attention to detail. Could not find fault with anything. Plenty of selection at breakfast.

Cost of wifi was high. Therwise a great place

Cleanliness of the hotel, nice bar, breakfast ok for Italy, balcony, no problems with parking

30-40 minutes to the city centre sometimes seemed boring, when you have to walk back and forth 2-3 times per day. But once a day it was a nice walk.

Great location (in terms of value for money) for those who don’t mind to walk a bit or to catch a bus, very comfortable bed and nice breakfast. The inner cafeteria is also great. And probably the nicest reception clerks I’ve ever encountered abroad. Luca is the man!

Excellent hotel in great position. Decent sized room with great shower. Had superior room with large balcony. Staff friendly and informative. Position of hotel ideal as just outside centre of Firenze although within walking distance. Buses very frequent from Via Cavour. Decent restaurants and bars within locality. Much better than being in the centre.

The hotel was very nice; there are not many restaurants nearby. Walk to the old town took about 15 minutes.

The staff, hotel cleanliness, room style, the breakfast room and the location made this a perfect trip for us. We were visiting Florence for three days as part of our two week trip around the Med and Adriatic and can say ths without doubt this was our highlight - well done to the team at San Gallo Palace - it was a great weekend.

I liked the room design

The staff of this hotel were very professional and were very helpful in regard to providing information about the area, restaurants, tours etc. In regard to comfort, safe and pleasant surroundings, this hotel could not be faulted.

The only down side for me was that it was a little bit away from the sites but there are local busses close by which could be used. ( we perfered to walk ) Lack of Sauna for a 4 star hotel was supprising.

Quiet, comfortable, good selection of continental breakfast and a brillaint extremely helpful friendly bar manager, made our brief stay memorable.

Difficult to find without a map on a one way system if you are driving, car park very close by but difficult to access, be aware of oneway system. Close to main railway station not far by taxi and on Red Tourist bus route which we found very usefull.

I asked for two beds and the room only had one

Everything is good! Good location , good breakfast, good view , good room! We love this hotel , if we go Florence , we surely book this hotel again!
