Clean and tidy hotel with limited facilities. A very nice bathroom. Staff were polite but there was no evidence of any real attempt to help. Despite comments on the website the hotel was a bus ride from the city centre and very expensive for its amenities. |

We spent the time sight seeing. It was in a great area and we did a lot of walking so we got to see a lot of the city. It was a very friendly hotel and nothing was too much trouble.They supplied tea making facilites free of charge and the breakfast was very good.. |

Really good hotel with a good location (15 min. walk from the Duomo), friendly staff, beautiful rooms with nice bathroom and good breakfast in the morning! We didn't had a room with balcony or terrace |

Very well run , clean hotel with good breakfast and situated just outside the main sights in the centre. Only 15-20 mins walk to most. The staff were very attentive when requierd and helpfull when asked how to get to certain sights or recomend a restaurant. Would recomend it . |

The location of the hotel was surprisingly really close to the historical center.The staff was very helpful and polite, willing to advise at any time.Room was quite and comfortable. I missed fresh bread and rolls on the breakfast and slippers in the bathroom. |

Our stay at the San Gallo Palace was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. We would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to others. We felt cleanliness of the room sometimes went to extremes i.e. daily changing of the soap - but loved the fresh sheets daily! |

The hotel is only a 15/20 min walk from the town centre but if you want to you can take the bus which runs pretty often. The staff are polite and very helpfull and you get a fantastic sellection of food for breakfast. The San Gallo Pallace was recomended to us by a friend and we would certainly recomend it to others wanting to stay in Florence. |
