location is excellent. hotel is very clean and comfortable
the front desk is not very friendly. breakfast is not very good.
We loved everything!
Absolutely fine but nothing special.
I was misled by the picture of a rooftop, this is only accessible by a private room and so not available to guests. This was one of the reasons I chose this hotel over another but maybe I should have read the description better. The wi-fi was a bit weak and the breakfast not that appetizing but ok. Everything was just ok.
one minute walk from st. mark's square
room, carpet and furniture looked old.
Very central but quiet location a few steps from the Vaperetto Stopfrom the Airport. vert pleasant staff always ready to help. have stayed there quite a few times and would go back
Cant think of anything, hence my frequent return
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was upgraded to an apartment on arrival. Location is perfect which makes it great value for money.
Very noisy in the morning. Breakfast
Good location. Decent sized bathroom.
The reception staff were very rude and unhelpful. No air conditioning in the room and no outlook. Breakfast very unappetising. Expected to drink hot coffee out of plastic disposable cups.
Location, location. Staff.
WiFi internet access was poor to non-existant where our room was located. I needed it to be much better.
Small narrow room and bath, breakfast bar and coffee container most of the time empty without filling or late fill.
The location close to St Mark's Square.
Noise at night from bar below hotel. Dust in bedroom. Breakfast insufficient selection.
Location Room size Bathroom
Stairs in the floors making life difficult with luggage Breakfast Room to leave your luggage after check out is unattended WiFi was not working with Windows 8 laptop but was working on Android phone
Proximity to St. Marks square.
The cost of the stay should include a reasonable breakfast. There seemed to be only a couple of people servicing the guests. They ran out of multiple items and those that were available were cold or scant. We stayed two nights and both mornings we experienced the same thing. The second morning, the eggs and coffee were out and not replenished. Unfortunately, we will not be back. (Other than the concierge and the location) we were severly disappointed for the amount it cost to stay here.
In the city
There was no wifi connection in the room. Room was labelled smoke free but had a strong tobacco smell. Cleanliness of room and bathroom could be better. Too hot without air conditioning but too cold with it on as it only goes up to 20 degrees. Staff members had poor attitudes.
location, amenities, AC, wi-fi
not all reception staff was nice
The only positive point about this hotel is its location near St Mark's Square. It all goes downhill from there!
The most chaotic breakfast service I have ever come across in a hotel. I don't know how this hotel boasts itself of a three star. The cutleries were dirty. The staff very rude, and disrespectful. The buffet was almost empty, and foods were refillled after a long interval. The check in was also not smooth. The staff did not seem to understand English very well. Overall a bitter taste in your mouth.
Very close to Plaza San Marcos.
Extremely expensive for the hotel quality. Very old looking. The room and bathroom were ample and comfortable. The restaurant was small and very crowded and it was hectic during breakfast and not enough staff to take care of guests. They ran out of breakfast selections constantly.
The location of the hotel was excellent. And it was fairly clean.
When I arrived they informed me the I have to pay another 50EUR per night because I have a 13 year old child. They did not told me about it when I talk with them on the phone like a week ago. The reservation on booking was changed also. When we arrived at the hotel my reservation for 2 adults 1 child of 13 and 1 child of 1year old was trasformed in 1 double room. That is crazy.
Super location just next to the Marcus Square. Nice room - "antique" furniture creating a great setting.
Staff at reception seemed not to care about guests. Italian traditional breakfast - but just a question of knowing what to expect :-)
