The location was brilliant,breakfast very good,rooms beautifully appointed and large.

Reception staff could benefit with a course in hospitality

The location was great, the suite was big.

The reception staff was not friendly.

Apartments were spacious. Staff were accommodating and able to speak English.

Bathroom wasn't very clean and fridge was very dirty. It was difficult to get our luggage having to cart them over stairs but I guess that it lots of accommodation would be like that in Venice.

I booked a double delux room with a canel view 6 weeks before I would arrive on Sat 30th march....price $277 aus / E215..i was given a small single room with view over the skylights ....when I asked at reception for the room I booked a 2 hour wait in the foyer I was finally offered a suite in another building...i was taken by the door man to check it out...door opened to a large suite bedrooms dining room kitchen and cold. Shut up feel. So back to reception I said I didnt want to stay in that isolated area....so would stay in thesingle room and could they refund me balance of costs.....no they could nt do that by this stage I have wasted 3 hrs of my 2 days in Venice. The next morning when I checked out I asked to speak to the manager re the room mix up....and he said the suite I was offered was the double I had paid for... It was so obvious that my room had been given to a couple . I have travelled the world I am not stupid....this was the end of 5 weeks in Europe so was my treat to me in Venice . I work hard and thats alot of money.

Staff was so friendly and helpful.They had good breakfast with varienty.Location was amazing nearby San Marco Square.

Furnitures are old and bathroom is not nice. Wifi is prepaid like at another places in Italy.

Strike of vaporettos on the depart day. Venice could do more for disabled persons, but on the other hand it has a lot of tourist who are more than willing to help.

Nothing warned about the transport strike on the 8th and the street leading to the hotel was flooded because of the rain, there was noway to find that out, guests should be warned. Also expected a ketle in the room which wasnt there.

We have stayed in the San Marco Palace Suites every year for the past ten years and intend to re-visit when we can.

There was nothing we did not like.

Room layout was perfect for our family of 5. It was larger than expected and very quite. The location was fabulous with everything at the doorstep.

The shower head need replacing and there was mould in the bathroom

The facilities were poor. We had an "apartment" with a kitchenette; there wasn't a cup or glass provided to have a glass of water. When they provided a meager early morning "breakfast box" for us, there were no plates or cutlery to eat it with and the apartment, as mentioned before, had no provisions for this at all. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the apartment at all. There were no English speaking television progress available.

If you want to stay on the edge of Piazza San Marco, this hotel is for you.

Like every PLACE in Venice, it is difficult to find the first time. And like everyTHING in Venice, it is expensive, really expensive for what you get, particularly when the closer you get to San Marco. While our room was large, it was very tired. We had a small kitchenette with an electric cooktop and a microwave - but no utensils, crockey or glasses. So this was completely useless. The female staff on reception were obliging and helpful but the day manager and the hotel general manager were not very welcoming. They had an argument in front of me, delaying my checkout. And they didn't have the decency to advise me that a public service strike that day meant the vaporetto service was not operating. Had I missed my train I would have been blaming them. Not going back.

- The price too high. - network only available in the lobby, also you can't use programs like Viber in their network. - the bells of the cathedral every hour is annoying since the room we took in front of Sammarco square, espicially in Sunday the bells keep ringing every half hour.

A fantastic location, spacious rooms and very friendly staff, we look forward to returning in the future.

Location was excellent. Rooms very generics size. The suite was an apartment that was a true pied-a-terre on the heart of Venice.

Family suite was large.

Hotel is pretty expensive. The room we rented was tired - bathroom was in need of re- grouting, there was a hole in one of the doors. The front lobby was very small. This hotel is connected to another San Marco property. You can get from one to the other within the building, but hotel staff directed s out and around the outside of the buildings. Not much fun when you are dragging suitcases around in 90 degree heat. Internet connection often lost and required re- sign in.

Nos dieron un up grade, a un sector nuevo, espectacular, se nota que los dueños se preocupan personalmente del diseño del hotel.

La ubicación es muy buena. El personal de la recepción era muy amable y la limpieza de las habitaciones era muy buna.

En el desayuno simpre faltan mesas limpias, vasos, tazas, cubiertos etc, el personal era muy desagradable y se trabajaron muy desordenado. Aunque está escrito en la confirmación que el wifi era gratuito en las zonas comunes, el hotel querria cobrar 9 €/hora!

Não fui acomodada na suite que reservei. Fila para o café da manhã. Local dito como área comum para wifi é um corredor apertado com duas cadeiras. Meus filhos foram impedidos de sentar numas cadeiras que se localizam em frente ao local ireservado para o café matinal. Tratamento não é próprio de quem hospeda. Não volto nem indico.
