We loved the central location and the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast, included, was excellent. I did not like that the internet access was not free (and that there was a weak signal unless you went to the lobby). |

Free breakfast was convenient. No elevator, had to climb 4 flights of stairs with suitcases. Bathroom is tiny. |

Very typical Venetian hotel, you can even get to it or leave back to the airport by Water Taxi (to the Piscina San Moise). The Vaporetto is not far either. Piazza San Marco is really, really close. There was a frigobar with reasonable pricing (similar to what is charged on the streets in the touristic areas). I'd recommend the "Superior Deluxe Room", it is worth the extra few bucks. Not a problem for us, but there is no elevator. Also the bathroom was a little small and can be a problem for older people. It may be different in other rooms, so it is worth asking in advance. |

It's situated just 5 minutes walk from San Marco square, 10 minutes walk from the nearest vaporetto station, on the narrow quite typical Venice street. It' s small, cozy and the staff is very frendly. |

excellent continental breakfast in a lovely canal side setting .perfect location two minutes from St Marks square. our first room was two small for two people no matter what the price. However the management were most kind and moved us to a beautiful suite for which we were most grateful .this is not a complaint but an observation of a situation we found our selves in and was dealt with great charm. |

Our room had a great view!! The hotel has a great location. Don't expect a full english breakfast but what you get is very good. I will stay there again with my next trip to Venice. No room service but I got over that soon. |

Hotel was clean and new Yes, the manager put us in a different hotel, away from the main hotel. We booked 6 months ago, yet we were placed in the "spare" hotel, It was a cheaper part of town, which we knew nothing about when we booked. This extra hotel was new but in a cheaper part of town, not near the canal where we wanted, and overall this is bad business. We should have been notified of this when we booked. |

The only thing we liked was the breakfast and the location This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We booked and paid well in advance to get a better rate and as a result of this we seemed to be taken advantage of and we were given a tiny room with about 30 cms space at the end of the bed. The shower curtain was mouldy and the wood around the door jamb in the bathroom was rotting from the constant stream of water from the shower. |

Great location, very close to everything. only a few minutes walk from public boats, easy to find if you print off a map before going. This hotel really captures the essance of the city. Staff was helpful and most spoke very good english. |

The hotel is a gem: a small Venetian palazzo with a lovely courtyard, obvious medieval features, and a "piano nobile" with a fine Murano glass chandelier and nice antique furniture. The room overlooked a canal: very quiet but it was interesting to watch the boats delivering goods in the mornings. Good breakfast. |

We loved the location it was excellent walking distance to all the sights we found it very easily from the directions given on the website. The breakfast was also fantastic with a massive choice, pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurts juices teas coffees ham cheese rolls ect.The room was nicer than we had expected so we were delighted. We had complimentry champaigne (thankyou) The heating was really hot and we tried to adjust it by turning it down but failed in our atempt, actually ten attempts. In fairness we didnt ask the hotel to adjust it as we were out all day anyway. At night however we left the windows open to cool the room down and this meant we had street noise ect. |

Best thing about this hotel is its position. It is situated in nice little street, not so loudy and noisy and you need 5 minutes to St. Marco square.Interior is very nice too and you will have impression of real Venice if you stay in this hotel. Generaly, everything was as we expected. Maybe, breakfeast could be more variety. Our room was very small with view on ``nothing`` ( little yard maybe 10x10 meters but as we have booked room with lowest price in this hotel we didn`t expect more. |
