Hotel San Moisè  

Really good location close to St Mark's Square. Easy walking distance to all the major sites and designer shopping. Amazing 18th century property with rooms decorated with period furniture but also with modern facilities. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Room large enough for full size bed for our teenage son. We were in Venice for the start of Carnivale which just added to the excitement of the trip. Would definitely recommend this hotel for value for money and location.

Very good and helpful reception.The location was fine as it was close to the centre and yet nice and quiet at night.The room was clean and the bathroom very good.I Must say a few words about the decor of the hotel and the room - it was very ornate and Venetian which we liked very much and was what we wanted. Unlike a modern hotel which has no character.

Location was fine, 2 minute walk from the square. Breakfast was quite nice and would be lovely in the garden in the summer. Room for 4 was a bit snug, but as expected.

Staff were friendly, but surprisingly were not able to help us book a gondola, and for dinner recommended a fairly tacky tourist trap place. Expensive for wifi which really should be free these days.

Fantastic breakfast. Location was perfect just one minute walk to St Marco. Room was exceptionally clean & very nice in everyway.

The hotel is amazing value for money. The triple rooms 102 and 108 are extremely luxurious.

very good location in Venice!

After a dubious start, we were able to find th Hotel fairly easily. Thank goodness for Deborah! She was a Star, her smiling face was a becon and she was remarkably helpfull. She not only answered our questionsand took care of us, she made great suggestions and pointednus in the right dirction. Thank you , she is a great person to have reprsent you. The next morning the Gentleman on the desck was also very helpfulk and made us feel special, his suggestions and help made our day. The room was great. Even if 2nd floor really means 3rd. Though Deborah saved the dayeven before we realsised it was on the 3rd floor, "we have a Porter." Thank God. The only problem was the Smell in the bathroom. Awful. It was clean but the smell....... Our overall experience at the Hotel Moise was Wonderful, our view down the canal was spectacular, complete with serenading Gondilers. Great experience!

My daughter had stayed there in February...We found it everything she had told us......The hotel is lovely...the room was perfect for us as well as the location. We were very satisfied with every aspect of our stay .........We must also mention the helpful staff. In all we would return .

The friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff and the welcome they gave us. The atmosphere in the hotel was also very welcoming and characterful, with the rooms decorated in a distinctive and appropriate Venetian style. Altogether a hotel that makes it a distinct pleasure to stay in Venice.

The quality of the breakfast coffee - but we compensated by having tea.
