The suite. Great terrace, beautiful ceiling and comfy beds. Nice choice of breakfast in the morning and lovely peaceful courtyard.

Breakfast could be served from 7am instead of 8am so the day could start earlier.

Excellent in every way. A sanctuary from all the bustle & very touristy highways & byways of Venice. Quite unique. Public areas have beautiful antique furniture, obviously from the original grande home. Absolutely recommend.

Secluded location with its own garden and building that holds the feeling of older days Venice. Welcoming and extraordinary helpful staff. Good breakfast by the garden.

This hotel is in an excellent area. Castello is close to the likes of San Marco (5 minute walk), however, Castello is much better as the area is much quieter, does not have the people congestion like San Marco. Castello has good restaurants that are reasonably priced, excellent food and seem more authentic than the tourist traps of other areas. The hotel is recently renovated, the room we had was quite large, comfortable beds and very clean. The breakfast was very nice. The breakfast is had in the garden area which is beautiful.

The wifi is a little slow. The hotel would be better off if they provided a bar in the afternoon so that the rear garden area could be better utilised.

Superb location, near the water-bus stop and St Marks, but also close to Rialto (we went out near the Rialto Market each night). Really safe, fantastic facilities and a good selection at breakfast - though make sure you ask for a coffee from the waitress as the Americano leaves a lot to be desired! Coffee from the waitress is fantastic though, as you would expect in a top class hotel. Will come again!

    Struggling to think of anything!

Everything! This boutique gem is perfectly located. Everything about the spacious and well-appointed room exuded elegance and practical comfort. We traveled through four cities in three countries on this trip and paid a comparable rate at each and this was by far our favorite.

the coffee at breakfast! It was really a shame - everything else was great but each morning the coffee tasted burned.

We had the junior suite. Amazingly large balcony with a view to a Venecian canal. Incredibly comfortable. Breakfast in a breathtaking garden. Big TV too.

A bit pricey, but we feel we got our money's worth.
