Staff was friendly and helpful. The lovely central garden gave a quiet, country feel in the heart of a busy district. On-site parking with remote- control access was very convenient. Porta Romana and Piazza del Campo an easy stroll away. Nice little lobby/bar with conversational grouping. The location on a busy street makes dropping off and loading passengers and luggage difficult, you have to jump the curb and park on the sidewalk. We found it a challenge to locate the first time, much easier to arrive via the autostrada rather than from the countryside. |

The hotel was wonderful and perfectly located by the Porta Romana. A 15 min walk put right into the center of Siena. We spent our days in the town and had a very easy walk back to the Santa Caterina. The view from our room was of the Tuscan country and the hotel gardens below. It was perfect. |

Staff was excellent - very efficient and helpful. When we arrived, the baby crib had already been set up in our room. We had a quiet room at the end of the hall overlooking the countryside that was perfect for our needs. Parking was very convenient and breakfast was plentiful. It was an easy walk into the city center from the hotel. |

Free internet service was very worthwhile. The room was large, but with little furniture. The breakfast was the least attractive of all hotels we stayed at in Europe. In all other hotels we had much more choices of breads, cheeses, eggs, fruit, herbal teas, etc. Your hotel was rated high enough to provide a much more extensive breakfast. |

Our room had a beautiful view of the Tuscany countryside. Very relaxing. Be sure to ask for a room with a view when booking. The breakfast area and the outdoor patio area also had a beautiful views. Enjoyed the morning cappuccinos along with the fresh breads, croissants, cheeses, meats, fruits, etc. |

Breakfast in the garden was always a pleasure. I have asthma. Something in the room made it difficult breathing at night while sleeping. More my problem then the hotel no doubt. |

The view from the breakfast garden and the room was spectacular. Don't be deceived by the unimpressive exterior of the hotel. It was a great experience. You may want toknow it is a bit of a walk from the Siena city center but it was perfect for me. The location offers the wonderful experience of Tuscan countryside serenity and still within reasonable stroll (pleasant one) of Siena attractions. |

Very good location, easy access to old town and to other places in the region. Sitting in the garden ,with a fantastic view of Tuscany ,in the afternoon and during breakfast , makes you relax and feel in the countryside. The staff were charming ,efficient and helpful. |

Hotel was charming as were the staff - they were notably happy, friendly, helpful and made a difference to our stay. It is a good 15 mins walk from the centre - though I wouldn't let this put you off unless you want to be able to pop back to your hotel during the day. |
