Minden nap rend és tisztaság fogadott a szobában. Megfelelő mennyiségű szekrény állt rendelkezésünkre a dolgaink elhelyezésére. A fürdőszoba is kulturált és tiszta.

Nem volt a szobában asztal, ahol étkezni lehetett volna. A reggelit egy közeli kávézóban kaptuk meg, ahol a kiszolgálás nem mindig volt megfelelő, nem mindig voltak udvariasak, nem volt megfelelő a választék.

Hotel Santa Maria Inn was very nice, and convinient to all point while my stay in Rome, i will definately recomend it to anybody to stay at this hotel. besides the excellence of the hotel, people were so very friendly!!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff - a great welcome and a genuine desire to be helpful. Clean, nice en-suite room of a much better quality than the reasonable price might suggest. The inn is in a clean, well-maintained building. Breakfast is in the nearby cafe opposite Santa Maria Maggiore - a very pleasant start to the day. Very good central location - not very far from Termini but in a quieter avenue than many in central Rome.

Nothing. I will use this inn again on my next visit to Rome.

for the price, I have no complaints.

Booked a standardroom for 2 person.They said is was booked for 1 person, so i'had to pay extra. if i would like to use tha airco I have to pay extra.

Nearby to the train station and close to a metro station. Inexpensive, decently clean room.

Situated next to a tram track that can get noisy at night. Room wasn't ready when we arrived after hours, but the staff quickly fixed that situation.

Hotel is currently being renovated, workers are loud throughout the day. 9am - 6pm

The location. It's close to Termini Railway Station and Vittorio Emanuelle metro station.

The neighbourhood is not very friendly. The guy from the hotel was very unprofessional and disturbing, it took him half a day to give us the wifi password and explain where the breakfast is served.

I love the location. It's just 100mtrs away from Vittorio Emanuelle metro station! And to top things up, Vittorio Emanuelle is just a station away from Termini, which is the heart of Italy. There are many shops and eateries along the hotel.. It is so convenient staying here. The services rendered by Theresa is exceptional. She makes you feel at home with the warmth she radiates. When we reached the hotel, she gave us a map and showed us where are the important locations like the cafe to have our complimentary breakfast at, etc. the croissant was huge and delicious by the way! The capuccino was great too! The cafe is just in front of a basillica. :) Overall, we enjoyed it there! :)

For the room, the heater works on and off. But it is still alright.

The lady from the reception was very nice and friendly; she helped us with all the questions we had. The bedroom was nice and the location was even better.

Two blocks from Subway stations, walking distance to historical center and Colosseum.

Breakfast was at a nearby cafe and consisted of a cappuccino and a sweet pastry (cornetto). Get's old after a few days, especially since the staff at the cafe is fairly unfriendly. Also, while Theresa was excellent - very helpful and cheerful - the days when she was not around the room cleanliness dropped significantly. The other staff members need to step up their game.

Inexpensive, clean room in a convenient location. Not too close to Termini so felt a little safer.

This hotel is very well located, close to Termini station ( main station ) - 5 minutes walk ( it is not 200m as posted in the portfolio ), and another tube station just down the street ( 100m ). It is quite hard to find, small sign on the building, though if you get prepared with a map in your hand you will be fine. Very nice staff, upon arrival I got a map and was introduced to Rome's attraction and where they are located. There are some restaurants ( Chinese, Italian and fast food ), take aways open late in the night! Very helpful as I arrived late. I got my own set of keys, so I was free to arrive to the building anytime. There is Sky tv , you will find only Sky international news and bbc news in english. My bedroom was facing the main street, which is quite busy, as the hotel is located close to Santa Maria Maggiore basilica ( very beatiful ), so there was lots of noise from the street. I got ready from all those reviews and brought my earplugs!!! Thank God for that!!! =-) I was staying in October, so I could keep the windows shut, however if you would stay in the hot months, I cannot imagine you could sleep with open windows. There is a air-condition available for some charge per day. Breakfast was in the nice nearby caffeteria,smily people, lovely view at the basilica and very simple breakfast coffee or cappucino with croissant ( you can choose from 4 different types) - very tasty! Bedroom was bright, simply but nicely furnished, clean. Bathroom was quite small but functional, cleaned every day! Wonderful. Hair dryer is provided, some plastic cups, shower gel and shampoo, 2 towels. There was also a little fridge in my bedroom, so useful! Hotel provided some butter, jam and juice. Opposite to the hotel is international food shop, you can buy anything you like, including fresh vegetables and fruit. Check out is 10 A.M.

Hard to find, it would be useful if direction was provided, as you can get lost in Rome a lot!!! Lots of narrow streets. Or simply get ready before you arrive and write down your directions! Thin walls and noise from the street. Get some earplugs!=-)

I liked the location, it was close to the train station and metro but not to cruded. Places to go out close by and there is a minimarket close by also. Teresa at the front desk was super nice and helpful with reservations to the Forum Romani and Colosseum. Breakfest at the local caffe was very Italian - pastry and capouccino. Al an all a good place to stay.

The walls where a bit thin, you could hear the people in the room next to us.

We elected to take a few days to your through Italy and the front desk lady Teresa was so helpful!!! They stored out bags for our return and so we chose to stay again we came back to Rome. This is a great place to stay if you are accustomed to hostel-hotel hybrids.

The Internet was spotty and they couldn't take credit cards that's it!

large room with small refrigerator, so I could have cold drinks, cheese, yoghurt.etc. I got a boiler kettle, so I could make coffe, some plastic plates, plastic glasses etc. good value for the money. VERY kind staff who helped me willingly. I like to live in a neighbourhood, which is not TOO touristic, so found this place very good for me - and still close to metro, Stazioni Termini etc.Good assistance with pickup at the airport and also being fetced at the hotel by driver, who took me to the airport - it al functioned perfectly and to the time agreed. I also liked TV in the room with news in both English, German and French....Close to a good supermarket also.

Nothing really - from time to time is could be rther noisy - not only street noise but also from the corridor outside. Anyway I always carry earplugs when I am in a city so that was not a problem really. I might add, that I did not find the personnel at the morning/breakfast restaurant very kind and pleasant.

We chose Santa maria Inn after reading really good reviews and overall we was really impressed. We worried about finding the B&B but used a map to guide us from the Termini (which is very close) and just looked for the street name and number. We was warmly welcomed and showed our room which was really nice with a private bathroom and three large double door windows. It wouldn't have been possible to sleep with the doors open at night, due to facing a main street, but there was a fan in the room which was more than efficient. We had a long day the first day and so asked the man on reception about local takeaways and he kindly suggested a few and gave us directions. In the end we got a Chinese (very Italian ha ha) from over the road and then realized we didn't have any plates or cutlery. The man on reception kindly got us some and we were able to eat in our room (it had a table and chairs!) which was nice. The lady on reception was really kind and told us that we were only a short walk from the Coliseum and gave us a map. We used this map and it really was a short walk away down the old cobbledy streets which was nice! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. There was only a couple of downsides - but these didn't really affect us, but something others may want to consider. We couldn't get wi-fi after about 8pm at night, it didn't bother us though. Also although Sky is provided, there is only one or two channels that are in English. Only other thing that may concern some people is the area that the B&B is located in is not very touristy and a lot of the shops are Chinese run. But there is quick access across the city through the metro which is at the Termini.

Central location

Air-condition wasn't included and they requested extra charge hence had to open windows and was very noisy. Safety locker didn't work and no alternative was provided, breakfast was basic: coffee and croissant
