Hotel Santa Marina  

Friendly staff.Good and big breakfast.

The Internet connection didn't work at all even though we were in the wi-fi area.Beds and pillows way too hard.

The regular rooms are too small.

Beautiful rooms, quite spacious, even for solo travelers; staff was extremely helpful; breakfast buffet was pretty good, though no hot foods!

Wifi is only in the lobby! You have no wired or wireless internet available in your room- very surprising for a four star hotel. Also, the place is quite difficult to find, though I think that's true of many/most hotels, given Venice's small, labrynthe-like streets. Definitely print out a map for your arrival.

The employes were very helpful and friendly, the room was quiet big, because we had like a little antichambre and a sofa in the room. The Hotel was very clean an comfortable. You can eat breakfast inside, in the courtyard or on the terrasse, which was very nice in the summer.

The breakfast was good, but could have had more choices on toppings for the bread and a little more change from day to day. But the food was still quite good.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful (with authentic Venetian decor, Murano glass lighting), the staff are always respectful, helpful, and friendly. The location of the hotel is central, everything in the city is walking distance from the hotel and the hotel's location, being situated in a "campo" provides for a very peaceful and quiet night's sleep.

Wifi is not free cappuccino at breakfast buffet is from a machine, not man-made.

Breakfest room is too small. Pillows like stone. Bed for us was short. Walls are from paper. Our room was on ground floor and windows was small, room dark, no fresh air.

The staff were friendly and advising about trip there good. Breakfast was very good.

Although location is said it is near to Riyalto bridge but it takes significant time to reach hotel. Specially when you have luggage it is little bit issue as you have to climb some stairs as well. Room is small one and wall paints are dull.

The shower room is too small.

The jacuzzi was splendid. The breakfast was nice. The bed was hard. The staff was very helpful. But, it sure was hard to find at first. After finding it though, it was very easy to get to and from everywhere we wanted to go.

We have stayed in the Santa Marina hotel over a weekend. Excellent location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, very nice room decorated in venetian style. Very satisfied, would stay there again and would definitely recommend to anyone.
