Hotel Santa Marina  

The hotel is in the centre of Venice and is a traditional hotel. Our room was off the square - a small apartment. Excellent breakfasts in the continental style - selection of breads, pastries, fruit, cereal etc. and different kinds of tea. Decor is very stylish - just the place for a romantic weekend away.

The room felt a bit stuffy, and the view out of the windows was obscured by some scaffolding - however this is temporary.

The staff was wxtremely helpful and the decor was beautiful.

It would have been nice to have a few more channels that were English speaking or in English sub titles. Further a do not disturb sign would have been helpful so the cleaning personnel did not need to knock in the am.

Nothing. I am upset that I chose that hotel as my wife and infant suffered badly.

It was one of the worst experiences of my life in terms of hotel stay. The staff at the reception was very poor and unwelcoming. They even said that for my infant they would charge the breakfast which was free for us. Internet was for namesake. We had to carry our luggage with the kid all the way from rialto stop and no help was provided even after request. The rooms were hopelessly small with torned furnitures. For sure its an absurd to call it a four star hotel. We paid 154$ for the night and it done even deserve 50€ per night. The breakfast was a joke to say the least. Please help other passengers to avoid such lowly feeling

Exellent accommodation in a unique area. Great breakfast and breakfast facilities. Generally an elegant experience.

Rooms need some updating without changing the elegant old world charm

I stayed at Hotel Santa Marina ten years ago, and I chose to return a second time because the service, decor, and location are wonderful. The Campo Santa Marina is a charming location in the heart of Venice (near Santa Maria Miracoli and Santa Maria Formosa), within easy walking distance of the Ponte Rialto and San Marco. The rooms are exquisitely decorated. The staff is welcoming and helpful, especially with restaurants. It is a delightful place to stay!

Sehr zentral gelegen und doch abseits vom grössten Touristenrummel! Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, das sich bemüht, wenn man eine Frage/ein Anliegen hat. Nett gelegenes, schönes, doppelstöckiges Zimmer im Nebengebäude (morgens etwas lärmig).

Pünktlich morgens um sieben begann der Lärm, als an der nahe gelegenen Anlegestelle die Waren ausgeladen und auf klappernden Rollies transportiert wurden. Unter uns war eine Marmorbearbeitungs-Werkstatt, da hat man ebenfalls alles sehr gut gehört. Der Jus beim Frühstücksbuffet schmeckte chemisch. (Nicht so schlimm, gleich in der Nähe liegt ein Coop.)

Нет wifi в номере, скромноватый завтрак, если ехать на несколько дней.

Freundlicher Service, Lage im Zentrum

Achei o Hotel mal localizado, e de difícil acesso. Além de ter um anexo (onde no site não é explicado que é fora das propriedades do hotel, do outro lado da praça, onde não tem nenhum responsável ou representante) que não é seguro, a internet funciona somente na parte da recepção, não sendo possível se conectar do quarto, e por eu ter solicitado a mudança do anexo para o prédio principal, já que eu sou uma mulher de 18 anos e estava sozinha, depois de muito insistir fui colocada em um quarto de um nível mais baixo, sem reembolso do valor que eu havia pago (que era superior às acomodações em que eu fiquei hospedada).

C est la misère , sans compter les odeurs de moisissures... Le personnel mal aimable .. Les chambres ne correspondent pas a ce que j ai acheté chez Booking .. c est honteux et malhonnête .. Publicité mensongère ...

La camera era molto bella,la posizione buona per piazza san marco. Anche se la colazione non è stata all'altezza della struttura, niente da dire di negativo.

Il contesto tranquillo e suggestivo tra il campo ed il canale,l'Internet point a disposizione dei clienti.

La camera claustrofobica, maleodorante e disturbata da un fastidioso ronzio costante.

la situation en ville et le dévouement du personnel à l'accueil

les travaux en cours dans l'établissement et le froid de la salle du petit déjeuner installé je pense provisoirement dans la cour (couverte....)
