The service was really good: good, qualified staff and a nice breakfast at our room. Next to it, the room we had (upper level) was romantic, spacious and had a beautiful view over the city. The hotel lies in the center of the city, near Piazzo San Marco and was easy to find. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Venice. Like other guests wrote, the pillows are hard. No other negative points for this hotel. |

Hotel san Zulian is superbly situated for convenience of access to the central areas of Venice although views were limited to roofscapes. We have stayed there before and would be happy to return. Although a lift has been installed, there were still stairs to reach our room. It would have been helpful when booking to have a chance to indicate that this would be inconvenient. |

It was an hotel we had previously used - was moderately priced then. Its great virtue is its closeness to the Piazza. Reception very casual; no bill provided - simply a hasty insertion into the credit card machine and a request to insert my code - only yoiur confirmation of booking offered as a bill - which matched; Breakfast room is much too small and caused delays in service and some people had to eat in their rooms. The pillows were the most uncomfortable (very hard) that we have ever been offered.You say not to use this review for complaints, but ask what we did not like - hence the above. I have not read your guest reviews on the website. Please do not publish this review. |

The front of house staff were ready to please as were the the breakfast staff. Breakfast could be served in the room at no extra charge, if desire. The hotel was reasonably easy to locate following the directions from the hotel website. It was ideally placed and is definitely only a few minutes walk from San Marco piazza. Ice not available but was obtainable from the bar which was adjacent to the hotel. Maybe Italians don't like ice with their drinks! |

The hotel was very central though there was no noise as it's just off the main drag. It's nice and small and we were offered breakfast in bed which was a welcome change. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. The hotel itself was great and staff polite and helpful. |

Compte tenu de la température très élevée à l'extérieur et glaciale à l'intérieur, la nuit il fallait choisir entre avoir trop chaud ou trop froid... |

La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel à la réception. Les chambres présentées sur le site ne représentent que les suites. Déception à notre arrivée car nous pensions en bénéficier. Les autres chambres sont beaucoup plus simples. Le prix, comparé à notre second séjour à l'hôtel Splendid à Baveno sur le lac majeur (hôtel Grand Luxe) est trop élevé. |

Uns wurde vor Ort statt zwei Einzelzimmern eine Suite (Appartement Balbi) mit 2 Schlafzimmern und Wohnzimmer angeboten. So großzuegig habe ich noch nicht bei einem Stadtaufenthalt gewohnt. Alles wirkte frisch renoviert. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Tolle Lage zwischen San Marco und Rialto. Frühstücksraum sehr klein. |

Poloha hotelu velmi blízko náměstí S.Marka a tudíž na dosah všem pamětihodnostem i dění v Benátkách. Velmi malá koupelna i pokoj. Místnost pro snídaně tak malá, že personál přesvědčoval hosty, aby snídali na pokojích. Ty však neskýtali dostatek místa a personál nebyl schopen zajistit ani servírovací stolek. |

Ottimo hotel con personale gentile e premuroso, posizionato nel cuore di Venezia tra piazza San Marco e ponte Rialto, pulito e grazioso.Se proprio vogliamo trovare una leggera carenza è nella sala colazioni, piccola, ma in compenso si può fare la colazione in camera senza sovrapprezzo. Lo consiglio a tutti e per chi vuole visitare la città, rivolgetevi pure al personale della reception che vi consiglierà la soluzione migliore e cercherà di aiutarvi in ogni modo. Veramente professionali, complimenti. Grazie!! |
