good location. helpful staff
Ease of access, and nearness to the center. Nice and helpful staff; dominant view of the piazza principe from the room and the historical elevator :)
We were booked in at Hotel Continental but were give a complementary upgrade to the Savoia. Excellent accommodation and breakfast if you ate in.
We requested a Takeaway breakfast as we were catching a 7am train. All was well until we saw what was in the package. Packet biscuits, packet bread and rice biscuits with mini jam and honey an orange yoghurt and water. No fresh pastries or juice.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Didn't hesitate to assist us when we had a problem with our luggage. It was much appreciated. Also our breakfast was wholesome and plentiful.
Very good facilities and conveniently located in front of a main train station. Awesome sea views from the roof terrace.
Good bed Great location to explore Genova Nice atmosphere Carpark service
Helpful staff Clean and large room
The room was large. We requested a crib for our child and it was in the room when we got there. Very clean and front desk had a great recommend for dinner. Non touristy place that was perfect.
The elevator was a challenge. We had a few bags and it was cumbersome to get in and out. Otherwise that's all I had. Very petty but really not a big deal.
Superbly placed for transport links Would go there again if in Genoa.
Access to shower difficult as very narrow.
They upgrade me to the 5 star next door
Don't know as did not stay there
The room was nice and the hotel responded to our special requests which was very good. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
The lift was not working properly and we were on the 5th floor. Not a big problem for us but might be an issue for some people.
So close to the train station, I was there to see Portofino and it was raining so the location was well suited. Very clean and professional hotel!
My room was on the entrance side and the road works at the train station was heard all night. Not loud but noticeable.
Very efficient reception and valet parking. Comfy clean room with a good bathroom. Great classic lift. Impressive building in a good location.
Very close to train station. Reception staff ok. Free water, coffee on arrival. Top up lacked quantity/variety needed! Breakfast very good.
Lift oldish! Rooms a bit small. Bathroom amenities varied in amount! One room with shower tray, one with bath!
1. Very close to the station. 2. A clean and new room. 3. Breakfast with lots of fruit and fresh juice (upon request), because I'm a vegetarian. There is a wonderful terrace where u can have your meal with the view of a busy Genoa.
I guess I liked everything! For this value, it's a very good option.
The location, the staff, their flexibility and responsiveness, nicely decorated room and the elevator (of course).
The room was quite cozy, the parking costs EUR 25 (not EUR 24 as stated on the booking.com website).
Rooms were big, location was very close to the train station, staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English
The room was lovely and had everything you needed. Shutters on the windows made the room nice and dark at night. Bathroom was very nice and had a good shower. The reception staff were very pleasant. Hotel roof terracce bar was very pleasant.
The hotel was situated next to a busy road and a lot of traffic noise could be heard at night. I felt that the hotel was not situated in a very good area and didn't feel particularly safe when venturing out on an evening. Stayed very close to the hotel on the 2nd day of my visit!
Was clean & room was good size facility were also good price
Shower opening very narrow & breakfast there was not enough variety
We came in by train so the proximity to the station was a plus. There was a small fridge, and a kettle in the room with complimentary teabags and coffee sachets. There was a free bottle of mineral water but only for three of the four days. Did they run out or staff was remiss? However, the hotel seems to be well run on the whole and the wifi connection was good. There were some non-Italian language channels for guests which were appreciated.
Our first floor room looked out to an area between some high buildings where some (ventilation?) machines were kept. Would have liked to open the window now and again in the evening but the sounds from the machines and air blowing out of them prevented this. There wasn't much of a view.
just in front of the station. tutto bene
Location and a large room in an historic building.
Weak and slow wifi.
Great location, comfortable bed, good breakfast
Unbelievable value for money. Location next to the main train station is a real bonus. Very comfortable stay.
