A friend of mine who stayed at the Savoia many years ago recommended it to me and I found it excellent. The staff was extremely helpful, it's location is convenient to everything and it's beautifully maintained.
There was nothing.
The space is large; Clean
They push us to pay extra money, 25 Euro, even we bring the baby with three years old and ask nothing for service
Location and staff.
It's not a Hilton, but it was clean and the staff were great and could not be more helpful. We love our stay there.
The breakfast on the terrace, the rooms, the staff, the location
Wifi should work in the rooms
My limo was able to pull right up to the door and there was no difficulty with luggage. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Our room was large and spacious and very clean. A wonderful stay. Would definitely go back again.
Can't think of anything.
The hotel was in a terrific location. It was lovely. The room was very nice. The breakfast, which was included, was fabulous.
Somehow, they didn't get my request for a car. Parking is a huge problem in Positano. However, they called the local parking garage and they came immediately.
Great location, close to the town square and shops, restaurants etc. Spacious rooms and delicious breakfast
Decor is looking a little tired, if well maintained
Excellent English speak staff Very wide range of range of choices for breakfast with excellent quality Very comfortable and clean environment with details Good services and hospitality Perfect Location with convenience to the beach and the bus stop (5 mins walking distance)
Beautiful, spacious and well appointed rooms with an authentic Italian look. Great location and general atmosphere. Lovely breakfast room with access to Wi-Fi in that area. Friendly, helpful staff. We just loved our little balcony with a view and would happily stay there again.
Kept banging into the window shutter which was on my side of the bed and partially hidden by the curtain. It was sometimes a bit noisy at night.
The hotel was really lovely. Great staff & great location. We didn't want to leave. The town is so beautiful!
The only thing that was a little annoying was that there was not wifi in the rooms. We didm;t mind much because we where liking being unplugged but when it came to needing to buy train tickets etc..it became a little hard but the lobby and cafe area had wifi.
Location of Hotel stroll to restaurants beach and port to visit other islands Freindly family buisness they even posted my glasses I left behind at another restaurant before I even arrived back in Australia, lovely breakfast on the terrace ,out of all our travel through Europe this was our favourite hotel to stay .We will definatley return.
No negatives at all
Location Easy walk to the beach - not too many stairs (a bonus in steep Positano) Helpful staff The balcony and views Breakfast!
Wi-fi only in common areas. It would be nice to have wi-fi in the guest rooms
Great location, lovely breakfast room, nice decor.....Loved our room!
Location, balcony, large room space, big bathroom, beautiful breakfast area, amazing tiles in foyer, breakfast.
No wifi in rooms
The room was a double and we had plenty of room. The bathroom was nice and large so two of us could get ready. The location is right off the main street so no stairs to contend with. Very easy to get a taxi to drop you off and deal with luggage. Close proximity to everything. Good value for the money when compared with other hotels. Large terrace overlooking the hill.
The pros to the location may be a con to some. The terrace is large with a great view of the hillside but its over the busy street. I did not hear noise inside the room but it was loud on the terrace this didn't bother me but it may others. No ocean view from the room but plenty from every other spot in Positano.
No balcony as I requested
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious with a wonderful tiled patio, great view. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great location, easy access to upper level of Positano or down to the beach. We definitely plan to return.
Rooms were a good size, clean-ish and location was perfect!
Positano is a beautiful town on the wonderful Amalfi Coast. As scenic as it is, the whole town is dedicated to getting money from tourists... Sometimes aggressively! This hotel is full of Americans on their first tour out of the usa or young English people on their first holiday abroad.
Great location. Just 10mts from the start of the walking street of Positano. For the price of the Hotel is very good. Positano is really expensive, but this hotel isn't. Good breakfast.
There is no facilities. No swimingpool on a beach destination. The views arn't that good.
This family-run hotel centrally located in Positano. Close to the shops, restaurants and the beach. I stayed in the double room in 403 it came with a French balcony with a stunning Positano view. The hotel came with a lift that's good for the luggage. Everyone is helpful!
No Internet in the room. But you can use in the lobby and the 1st floor of the cafe/ bar.
The hotel gave us a very nice room, but with a limited view. I told them that I had brought my wife to Positano to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The lady at reception immediately offered us the best room in the hotel and a bottle of Spumante was sent to our room.
The loud noises from the traffic on the main road, although with the soundproof windows and air conditioning we were not disturbed while sleeping at all.
Lovely hotel in good location half way down hillside in Positano. Easy stroll down to the beach passing all the lovely wee shops, cafes and restaurants and not too far to puff back up to the hotel! Spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Room had view to sea and houses on hillside. Easy to visit Capri (boats leave from pier) and regular bus at the top of the street to Amalfi and Sorento. The public SITA bus service excellent and very cheap. Easiest way to get from Naples airport by taxi/or private transfer. Tagged a couple of nights on at the end of our holiday at the Royal Continental in Naples which would also highly recommend. Took train from Naples to Pompeii. Again cheap and good service, station at entrance to ruins, you don't need to spend a fortune on a private tour bus. There are plenty of guides if you want to book one when you arrive if you wish.
It didn't matter as there are loads of restaurants in the area but they don't do evening meals, more of a bed and breakfast arrangement although there is a bar and room service snacks if required. Internet is at best slow.
No parking. No free water, coffee, tea in the room. No kettle, iron in the room. Wifi is available only on 1F - a very tiny place. Restroom is too dark.
