Loved the hotel the staff were friendly, helpful. Especially Lucia Boscolo. Large classic rooms beautifully appointed clean and of the highest standard. Will go back
5th floor sea view room was modern, comfy and quiet; excellent breakfast buffet, beautiful renovation of a grand hotel, good staff, perfect location
Wi-Fi was slow and it forces you to login all the time, very frustrating wifi experience that really detracts from the otherwise excellent stay at this hotel.
The staff were friendly mostly but not uniformly. Location superb.
1. The king sized bed was simply two twins side by side with a partition in the middle. 2. Shower water temp only reached Luke warm not hot. 3. Breakfast was good however staff was not attentive. Had to approach staff for morning coffee. 4. When leaving no one was there to load up car for us.
We loved everything about this hotel. At first we thought we had been given the wrong room, as it was so spacious. Would have loved to have stayed longer!
High quality accommodation, excellent service, perfect site and excellent value.
The refrigerator in the room needed to be colder, and the washing detergent used for the towels and linen had too strong a smell.
The Location near the harbourside is wonderful, the rooms have a beautiful view and they are very nice and new renovated, we like the bar and there is also the possibility to sit outside, the staff is very helpfull and kind. There is also the possibility of a parkingservice.
the breakfast was quite poor, I would have expected more fresh fruit instead there was only watermelon and pineaplle fresh and the pineapple wasn´t tasty. The scrumbled eggs weren´t fresh, they looked poor, and the bacon was also a catastrophy.
The efficiency and willingness to help of the lady receptionist
The rather hard mattresses
Our stay in Trieste for a family wedding was enhanced by the first class facilities, comfort and friendliness of the staff.
Everything was very good, so nothing to say here.
I was in Savoia Trieste with my husband and small dog. We were totally charmed by the elegance and coziness of the hotel. We got a large room with a biggest balcony on 5th floor. The view was spectacular. All hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful. We will come back again :-) I recommend this hotel.
i visit this hotel regularly and am always pleased with the excellent level of service they maintain. They fixed the wifi: basic access is now free and multi-device, as befitting the level of the establishment.
close to the center, great breakfast, water views
the gym was not actually in operation.
Excellent location, wonderful room, helpful staff = everything was really great incl. breakfast and equipment. Few steps from centre. I would recommend to pay a little more for a seaview. Unforgettable holiday.
Wi-fi password works for 24 hours only (and is limited to a certain speed), so we had to ask every day after coming back to the hotel for a new one. (But on the 3rd day the concierge gave us accidentaly a password that worked 7 days and really fast without a limit).
Everything about the hotel is just perfect. The situation, rooms, breakfasts- all was very good.
system of payment- they charged credit card in spite of the fact that it should be payment in cash on check-in. It is not that bad, but it would be better if they informed us about it in advance.
Location was perfect few meters away from the main plaza, there is public parking just accross the street. Size of the Room was just about right, there is a small balcony where you have an excellent view of the adriatic ocean. We stayed there on August 15, and at around 11 pm there was a terrific firework display along the dock near the hotel which lasted for almost an hour. The doorman was very helpful, went to the other side of the street and got all our luggage.
Wifi connection was terrible
Alles war rundum Perfekt
Great hotel, old building.....very good room.
This is a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. The staff couldn't do enough for you - in fact we got a free upgrade to a suite on our arrival which was a lovely surprise. Would highly recommend.
The place, the upgraded to suite
Excellent hotel. Beautiful, well located and spotlessly clean. As we have already stayed at other hotels of the same chain, they gave us an upgrade to a wonderful suite. Kind and polite staff.
This is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in - and I have stayed in many! We loved the tasteful decor, excellent location in the middle of town and very friendly staff. View from the hotel towards the Trieste Bay is fabulous.
Excellent central location, minutes away from the Piazza D'Italia and the ferry terminal. Friendly and helpful staff. The GM Ricardo was on duty when we checked in and, on discovering we had something in common, personally came to greet us and spent about 20 minutes informing us of sights to see in the vicinity, day trips by boat and car and recommending a variety of restaurants. We followed his advice and every tip was a hit! Elena on duty at the desk was also very helpful and efficient and provided us with ferry timetable and made restaurant bookings for us. She also explained the "pillow menu" to us, ensuring we had a comfortable night's sleep. Our room was compact, but well appointed and comfortable. We had a lovely view over the harbour and the sunsets over the ocean were fabulous. Breakfast was pretty good, without being overly flash. There were a couple of things that could be improved though (see negatives below) The hotel is not cheap, but we thought it delivered good value for money and is well worth it's 4-star rating, with service closer to 5-star level.
Not much. On arrival, the aircon wasn't working (or at least, we couldn't get it to work) and the room was very hot. We told Elena on our way out to dinner, and by the time we returned it was working perfectly. The help yourself "cafe Americano" was, to my taste, awful, but the staff were happy to bring you a properly made espresso or cappuccino on request. Hot breakfast was a bit limited boiled/scrambled eggs and bacon . The scrambled eggs were fresh and well made, but not very hot. A proper bain marie to keep hot food warm would have made a big difference. There was no chef on hand to make other eggs etc. Perhaps you could order these, but I doubt it as I did not see any menu or other guests doing so. Parking was pretty expensive ay E23 per day, but they do offer a full valet service - pick your car up from in front of the hotel and deliver it again at 30 mins notice. This is less than we paid in Nice at a comparable hotel and we had to park the car ourselves.
Beautiful and elegant hotel right in the center along the boulevard , sea view . Perfect location .
The airco was not working properly .
