The restaurant was the best I have ever been to!fantastic meal in the evening at ver reasonable price.the hotel can lend u bikes which was handy for us,it was about 20 minutes rides from the centre.the country house hotel room is ok for what we paid Air conditionned in room was too cold and u have to call reception to change it,but ok once fixed.I am not a big fan of carpets in the room. |

We liked the setting at the Hotel but the room was a bit small for a family of three persons. We didn't have a bath in our room only shower. It is a bit confusing in which hotel you're going to stay Country house or the more luxurious other Savoia hotel. |

we were visiting family in the area and its location was good with easy access to all routes the pool was very good and breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice Although our room was very nice I did not like the fact that we could not see out of the windows as it was on the ground floor surrounded by trees so if I came again I would request a 1st floor room. |

The hotel was a great base for seeing north Italy. It is very easy to access and is nice and clean. The hotel was lacking a decent bar and had very little facilities, i.e ironing board, ice machine. |

The small restaurant adjoining the hotel was absolutely marvelous! Daniel and his wife, Patrice, own and operate it -- and they prepared a meal for us that was not on the menu which was the best food we ate while in Italy. The wine came from a small village about 50 km away and we drove there the next day. The bed in the room was comfortable -- not a lot of room, but enough for two. Breakfast is adequate and offered in a manicured courtyard. Everything was very satisfactory. |

We liked the proximity to the Autostrade and very helpful late at night coming back from Bologna City Centre Our rooms were incredibly noisy and were obviously smokers rooms so we had to sleep with the window open, very noisy |

The Savoia Hotel Country House is a great location for exploring the Emilia Romagna region. We took day trips to beautiful Ravenna and Ferrara. The hotel is conveniently next to the Autostrada/Tangentizale (exit 9) and is a 15 minute drive from the center of Bologna. We loved the food at the adjacent Restaurant Gemmelli (where we twice ate dinner) and the hotel breakfast was great! |

A very nice breakfast was provided in a very pretty setting. the staff is very nice especially the wait staff. The grounds are very pretty and the location close to town and the access to the autostrada was very convenient. I paid for a triple for myself, husband and young daughter. The setup was miserable. they place the cot along side the bottom section of the double bed. The room was very small and dark. the layout of the bathroom made no sense. The toilette was in the corner nestled between the shower and bidet with no room in between, so for a man, it was difficult to navigate. |

Friendly staff. Good breakfast although no hot food. It was a bit of a walk to the sister hotel for the pool, across a busy road. Drinks were very expensive there and no lunch service to speak of. A lot of road noise at our hotel and internet does not work on the 3rd floor. Only the first floor and partially on the second. We took our laptop to the dining area every day to check mail. |

Outstanding and helpful Staff: congratulations!!! My family and me (4 pax) stayed in a large apartment next to the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Large parking. I highly recommend it!!! Since I stayed in a large apartment next to the hotel, some utilities were not available (ex. wireless connection in the room or playstation for children). But take into consideration you can find a free internet connection in the hall and you can use all the facilities. |
