Savoia & JolandaRiva degli Schiavoni 4187, Castello, 30122 Venice (Show map) Very good, Score from 197 reviews“This is by far one of the nicest hotel I ever stayed in. The staff, the location, the room everything was perfect!”
Sebastien,
London
Located 650 ft from Saint Mark's Square, Savoia & Jolanda is on Venice's Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront. It offers panoramic views out over Saint Mark's Basin and San Giorgio Island. Rooms here have a classic Venetian design with wood-beamed ceilings and Murano glass lamps. All are air conditioned. They also feature a minibar, TV with satellite channels and a bathroom with bathrobe and slippers. They offer views out over Venice or the lagoon. Breakfast is buffet style, and the Terrazza Principessa restaurant serves Italian cuisine in its spacious dining hall or out on the terrace overlooking San Giorgio Island. Choosing Savoia & Jolanda means you have easy access around Venice with a Vaporetto (water bus) stop just a few steps away. Hotel Rooms: 51

Everything!! The staff were always on hand and very very helpful - right from initial booking via Booking.com, conversations on phone or e-mail for pre-arrival planning, then in person following arrival. The knowledgeable staff easily advised on local restaurants, and helped book our table. The buffet breakfast was superb, again with very helpful staff working extremely hard. Each day of our stay the room was fully cleaned. The bed linnen and towels were changed daily - and some very nice personal touches were left in arranging items we'd left on tables. I can't imagine how the staff could have done anything more to give us a truly romantic break to remember.

Reception stuff are super, very helpful and very nice and friendly, location is the best just in front of the Aliguna Station you don't have to carry your bags around as every body does in the city, short walking distance to St Marks Square. Although the room is not a brand new, but it is clean comfort and give the feeling you are staying in a historic palace. room size is spacious and has a 2 step balcony facing the lagoon. Breakfast need to be improved.

Friendly staff Room was a room without a view (gave out onto a pit). Nothing except sleep was possible in the room without having the lights switched on.

I liked the location, viewing the lagoon, and the nice attitude of the staff. And very close to Taxi and Bus station. Rooms are very different than what we saw on the internet, very poor conditions, but I guess thats the norm here in venice. Also we could hear every single voice of all the neighbors, I couldn't sleep the 2 days from voices. And also closing the AC is not a good idea, as during our stay the weather was warm in Venice, and i couldn't sleep from the hot weather, and when we opened the window in the morning flies came in, and at night mosquitos!

Excellent location ! dead center in the heart of venice. Walk out and there you are . try the hotel restaurant in front for drinks and people watching. The hotel rooms are clean and fairly good size for "Europe" . overall, great experience

Concierge is the best. The room was just renovated a week ago. Right in front of Vapoletto. The room is very small, and no view even though booking.com showed the view of Venice. The noise from next room was too loud. No acoustic treatment. Breakfast is limited. No Terrace, by the way.
