Old furnitures,carpets smell bed,
staff suggested me a very nice restaurant and italian "bar" for breackfast
Super cool hotel right around the station and the excellent city center. Walkable from SMN station and very near to the heart of the ever beautiful Firenze. The staff was extremely helpful and aptly suggest how to enjoy the city in a better way. Breakfast was excellent and overall the hotel was a great place to relax.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Great location just 5 minutes away from galleria dell'accademia (where the statue of David is). The breakfast was pretty good for 5 euros. Will definitely stay here next time i'm in florence, and will recommend it to any friends :)
The staff were excellent and very helpful - our room was large with air con, Tv and fridge. Breakfast was good with enough choice. We only stayed one night but were allowed to leave our cases at the hotel until our train departed late afternoon.
Breakfast finished at 10.30 (which is good) but you also had to check out by 10.30. An 11.30 check out would have been better maybe.
Everything. It is just a pension not a hotel. It is not worth to stay there.
Staff we're very good. Worked out as £20 per person per night. If budget is impotant then this is the hotel for you, if it's comfort and convenience then not.
Wifi was like pulling teeth, sooooo slow!!! Bed uncomfortable, walls thin (Europeans are not quiet people!), locaton a long 20 minute walk from the centre.
Helpfull staff, with great tips. Great service, good rooms. We asked for a shared bathroom, but recieved a private bathroom (which is standard). They have 3 stars, but only show 2, not to discourage the travellers with smaller pockets. Great value for money, and the tips were golden.
Not really any issues especially at this pricepoint. The breakfast is basic, but that's typical for Italy.
Super friendly, helpful staff, rooms were good size and very comfortable and clean. We stayed in a room which required us to use a shared bathroom down the hall - was no problem at all and the bathroom was ALWAYS clean. Location is a good base for exploring Florence and the Tuscany area.
The hotel is in a quiet location, just a short walk from the main square. The room was a good size for the four of us, and a very decent price. The staff was very helpful (e.g., in storing our luggage the last day, and booking the Uffizi Gallery on short notice). The breakfasts were good, and the cappuccino perhaps the best I've ever had!
A few issues. One of the single beds had broken springs, such that we had to put the mattress directly on the floor (my daughter had already fallen through). We were also concerned about the lack of fire escape routes--there were no instructions on the door as one expects in a hotel, and we were at the end of a long hallway that did not have a fire escape. The Hotel Savonarola is poorly marked, and it turns out that it is actually part of another hotel, Hotel Benvenuti..
Good price for location not far from main sights. Breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Directions in English version not accurate. Wrong road name given and took a bit of finding as a consequence.
It was simple, but quite comfortable, and reasonably close to the city center.
The refrigerator in the room was very small and it didnt work very well.
Atención de recepcionistas. Muy amables.
Excellent helpful staff
Pillows & no fridge
one of a female staff was super friendly, location and price were quite good.
The toilet had a very bad smelling when flushing, bathroom facility was quite old.
Good position, nice staff and rich breakfast. We spent here only one night, but it has been a really good experience.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The single room size was very good. The room was very clean and cosy.
There were no telephone in the room. So you had to go to the receiption for every single request. the water stream was slow.
friendly staff clean rooms 10 minutes walk from city center
Nice place, good breakfast and friendly staff. Good place to stay in.
Friendly staff Comfortable room Very close to the city center
Price, coffee bar, staff
Hard bed, noisy
The staff is polite, helpful and speak various languages. WiFi signal is very good. An Esse Lunga supermarket is very close to the hotel. The room was quiet enough. In total, nothing wrong.
Around 15 minutes walk from the city center, which is OK if you don't mind walking. There is also a bus stopping in front of the hotel, but I never used it. The view from the room window was just some buildings, but after all, you are in Firenze, there is a lot to see there! :) In total, nothing too bad in this hotel.
Very nice staff, working 24/7. Clean and big rooms, enough space to sleep and to have a time of leasure. Only about 10 minutes walk from city center, and all straight along the same street. Close to railroad station as well.
Hair dryier broke, and it was the only one available - little inconvenient. Just few more hair dryiers - ant it would be a perfect hotel ))
The staff was so kind and helpful about showing us all the attractions on the map. The location is perfect, 10 -15 min walk from the Duomo. On the walk along Via cavour toward the Duomo, in Piazza S.Marco there is this amaaaazing bakery that sold fresh focccia and pizza etc... They are constantly bringing fresh trays of goodies out. All the locals go here, so packed you gotta grab a number at PUGI! The hotel was also right outside a bus stop which was perfect for a quick daytrip to Fiesole! a must see for spectacular views of the entire city. OUr stay at hotel savonarola was fun and memorable! thank you
Recepcionist extremely nice, helped us a lot. Clean. Quiet. Good quality for the price
A bit far from the center of the Florence (though there are bus, it's expensive to buy tickets everyday). Wifi really really poor
