Basically, everything was very comfortable and enjoyable! Room was ok, staff was nice, location and price too. The only thing that wasn't good is that we couldn't get rid off mosquitos !!! And it was cold too, although we asked to turn the heating on we didn't feel any difference after all.

The receptionists were very knowledgeable about the bus routes, train systems, and eating locations nearby. They were more than willing to help us find our way around and help us accomodate our needs. The locations was not as close to Venice as we would like.

Individual style of rooms, helpful staff who speak good English, excellent breakfast with a very good choice - fruit, yogurts, cereal, cheese, meat, bread and croissants and cake, ease of public transport with bus tickets for sale in the gelateria by the bus stop (although it doesn't sell weekend tickets which are amazing value - got ours from the bus station opposite the train station) Last bus from Treviso leaves quite early and it is a fair walk back to the hotel if you miss it!!

Very nice room and helpful staff. Information on the location should make it clear how far it is from the railway/bus station rather than the city centre. It was a more expensive taxi ride than expected for this reason. It is also on amain road and very noisy.

I didn't like that they said there was air conditioning and there wasn'T.The walk to Treviso center is at least 20 minutes or a bus ride. The people at the desk when we checked in weren't very attentive or informative.

Good value for money. Hotel is older, but has been renovated. Clean and up to date in conveniences. Downside is location, bit of a walk to town and no restaurants (except Hotel's and a good pizzeria) within easy walking distance. There is a grocery across the street.

Decent rooms, gd out if town location but it was wast to walk into town or get the bus, great cafes nearby for breakfast etc, clean rooms and helpful hotel staff. Minor thing but it is trying to be elegant and luxurious bit is really just a little retro and try hardish. That didn't really affect the stay so not a big deal.

Convient location for travelling around the area. Seeing the vineyards and also proximity to Venice. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. Beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this place for anyone travelling around not wishing to stay in Venice with the many crowds - but easy convienient day trip by train (30 mins) to venice.

The renovation and decorative effects of the building made our first night in Italy very welcoming to the Italian way of life. Breakfast was done very nicely and the location was great.....We enjoyed touring Treviso as much as we did Venice! We flew into the Treviso airport, so the location relative to the airport was very good. We will recommend the Scala to our American friends who might be touring in the Venice area. There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel Scala.

The staff was helpful and nice. We spend one night in treviso because we had to take our 8:40 flight from their. We took two busses to arrive to the airport at time and the entire trip costed 1 euro per person. While the hotel is not very far from the city, it is difficult to reach by public transportation after 9pm or to find we to eat nearby after that time.

Hotel is intimate, very clean, excellent bed linen & very comfortable beds. Free wi-fi is available. Breakfast is available for a modest cost. Excellent rates. Number 1 bus runs from directly outside hotel to train station, via center of Trevisio (you can buy tickets at the bar across from the hotel - €1.20). Venice is then 30mins by train (€9 return - very frequent - every 10/15 mins). If getting the bus from the station to the hotel, ensure you cross the road outside of the train station (otherwise you get the number one bus on the other half of it's journey, so they charge you double price) 10/15 minutes to Trevisio airport (Antonio Canova) Highly recommend this as a hotel to base yourself in, as a visitor to Venice.

This is a very clean hotel in a safe location I felt like i was the only person staying in the hotel, the bar wasnt open, the restaurant wasnt open, I was told the nearest restaurant was a car drive away but we then found one within about 5 minutes walk, there was no wifi, in fact no internet at all available unless we went into the managers office!
