Hotel Scalzi  

If I were going to book a hotel in Verona again this would be the one I would book. Perfectly placed between the station and the Arena (both a 10 minute walk away) this hotel ticked all the boxes. The staff were lovely, breakfast served outside in the pretty courtyard area and our room perfect. We stayed in room 7 which was huge and included an upstairs area with two more single beds, perfect if you were travelling with children.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. Great value for money. Should be rated a 3 star. Not a 2 star hotel

I really enjoyed my stay here; it was really unexpected. The price was great and the location was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. Would definately stay here again.

Position. You can reach hotel by car; but it's only at five minutes walk from arena.

Price. A little bit expensive

Lovely hotel - very helpful staff and comfortable, spacious rooms. Breakfast was a little simple but sufficient. Good value for money and within easy 5 -10 minute walk of the center.

The staff were very helpful, genuinely friendly and proud of their hotel. The room was lovely and the location was ideal for visiting Verona. We were a short walk from the town centre and from the railway station.

The hotel was easy to find and located near the historical city center of Verona. Everything was reachable in walking distance. The staff was very attentive, friendly and uncomplicated. The italian style breakfast was very good, even the very nice Cappuccino was included. It is a small familiar nice hotel, which we would always chose again for a stay in Verona.

The room we stayed are spacious. It has attic which two beds can be added. Location is close to both train station and the arena. Staffs were polite and helpful.

the location to the train and city center was perfect, the bed was great, the shower was strong, too strong for the drain if you stayed in there too long. I would stay there again. And unlimited wifi for 1 euro.

It was a 10 minute walk from the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the old part of town. The hotel was nice and cozy and the free breakfast the next morning was great. Staff was helpful. Although Wifi was not available from our room their was a nice cozy lounge we could use. Great value for the price.

We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the garden where they serve breakfast - beautiful. Room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean. The owners Patricia and Marco are very friendly and helpful.

It was only a short walk away from many bars, restaurant and places of interest and was a short distance to the train station. Room was very clean and a good size. We did have a room that faced onto the road which was a bit noisy.
