The Europeo Hotel is in the historic center of Naples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, next to Federico II University.
Score from 829 reviews Good
Located just a 5 minute walk from the harbor, Bovio Suite is set on the 4th floor of an early 20th-century building. Accommodations here are convenient, friendly and well-maintained.

Location, price, room size
The room that we've been didn't have curtains or a proper cover. Luckily, the building in front of the hotel was empty that day and the room was so big, that we could manage to find a blind spot
Comparing with the city Neapel, this hotel was the highlight if the city! Very nice personal, as actually the most italians, very nice furnishment in the room, cool breakfast (the fridge full of fruits, yogurts and other healthy stuff). Also very central location, the Alibus to the airport stops in 5 min walking from the hotel.
No disadvantages, would stay more and more times in this hotel.
the staff was very helpful and had a very good attitude, quickly solved all our requests; room is big, clean and looks like newly renovated; on a quiet side street so no noise during night; location is very good (vs hotels near Central Station) for this price and we came back ~12:00 in the night and we felt completely safe; closely located to subway station University (~5 min), to Alibus station to/from airport (~10 min) and to main street via Toledo (~10-15 min); don't know about breakfast, we left 6 am.
not a dislike, but a suggestion: for early travellers levaing before breakfast is served (7:30) to have the option of a lunch box or a minimal take-away; also would be great to reduce the size & number of acces keys (4 keys, ~200gr); and if WiFi would have signal in the rooms, it would be perfect.
- good location: close to the historical center, Mollo Beverello port - ferry to Capri/Ischia and Stazione Centrale - link with the trains for Sorrento/Bus for the Airport; - nice, friendly and supportive staff; - plenty of places for lunch/dinner (Il Pomodorino at the exit from Universita metro station is excellent);
- not enough alternatives for breakfast (only pastries) - cleaning products (soap, show gel, towels) not changed/refilled daily
very kindly staff
a lot of mosquitoes, there was quite bad wi-fi connection in the room, small TV, small, narrow bathroom
The hotel has a central location, very close to a metro station and within walking distance from the historical center and the port. The area around the hotel seems very safe, even at night. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, have good beds and air conditioning. Located in a small street, there's hardly any noise from traffic. The breakfast is good with good variety. Wifi is free and available everywhere in the hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
No major things to dislike about this hotel. It can get a little crowded in the small breakfast area (only 3 tables available), but fortunately there are never too many people to have breakfast at the same time. Sometimes you can hear some noise from people opening/closing their doors in the hallway, but at night it's rather quiet.
Super location, fair price
Location of the hostel is quite pleasant even it seems a bit spooky. There is a 24 hours open car parking at the same street which the hostel has an agreement with.
breakfast was dissatisfactory.
-close to the center -the friendliness and helpfulness of staff
-there was mold on the wall -the room need to be painted again -balcony was small - only for air conditioning -lacked protection against mosquitoes -very small kitchen / breakfast room
The location of this hotel was excellent, it was easy to get to the main square in Naples and also to the main station. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The staff were polite. The hotel seemed secure as we had three separate locked doors between the street and our room.
The room was extremely dark and a light bulb was out when we arrived that was not replaced for the duration of our stay. There were two bedside lamps although only one could be plugged in as the other was not close to a plug socket. This did not offer much extra light however and we still struggled to see properly in the room. The Wi Fi was very very poor, we had intermittent signal and we found that our devices rarely picked up the network. The description of the room said 'balcony room' but this was misleading as you couldn't even step onto the ledge that was described as a balcony. There were a few stains on the wall near the beds which we thought should have been cleaned away. Although the staff were polite, they were not very informative. We had to ask about everything such as breakfast times etc and no extra information was offered when we checked in.
Really - nothing, except the polite personal and rather good bathroom. May be on the first floor they have the comfortable rooms.
The hotel is situated on the first and the second floor of the living building. In the elevator is the information that you must pay for it 10 cents. On the second floor the room is large but there are no comfort. The super small TV, the not working conditioner - too much noise and it is located under the bed under the heads. The bathroom is good - the only good thing in the hotel. The breakfast is bad, coffe is not from the machine, small choice of food. The declared destination from Mollo Beverello is wrong - you need a taxi to reach it with the luggage
Thos accommodation was fine for a one night stay and the breakfast was nice.
The room was small and dark and there were mosquitoes in the room throughout the night.
Close to port Mollo Beverello, and to metro University. Very convenient to those who goes to the islands near Napoli.
LOCATION - CLOSE TO PORT AND WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO BARS, PLACES OF INTEREST AND SHOPS
NOT MUCH SOUND PROOFING BETWEEN ROOMS
Location, price, helpful staff
Little place in dining room, hotels rooms need a renovation (especially walls)
Really nice hotel Staff OK Perfect place to visit Napoli Public transport easily available Porto and bus Station (Alibus) jest to the hotel 5 minutes on foot
Location was good, close to metro and train station. Clean and comfortable.
Bathroom was not in great shape and hot water was short. Limited breakfast.
The warmth and support of Walter and the other staff there.
Staff were helpful and it is in a fairly central location.
It was poorly equipped and not in a great state of repair. Breakfast was pretty minimal. If you like small hotels it might suit but if you want three star facilities you won't find them there.
A nice place located close to the harbour. We were given a quite cosy and clean room. The staff and the room service works OK.
All the furniture and the room devices were a litte bit damaged and worn-out. The atom-sized TVset speaks only Italian. They should think about a couple of English spoken channels. In my opinion the hotel is quite good but three stars is one too many.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was central.
Noisy other guests.
Staff, location, price
A little more clarity about whether the eating area can be used outside of the breakfast hours.
Very comfortable, centrally located, good value-for-money, clean, and a very lovely welcoming staff.
Good location, nice room & staff
The breakfast had too many carbohydrates and something like a Continental breakfast would have been better. The elevator only works with 10cents coins and it has a timer - this is an issue only if there is no one around at the reception and you have heavy luggage.
