With free Wi-Fi, Hotel Aniene is in a quiet, green area of Rome, 10 minutes from Termini Train Station by Metro. All rooms include parquet floors and a 32-inch LCD TV with satellite channels.
Score from 528 reviews Good
The Hotel delle Province has spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and serves a rich breakfast on its roof garden. It is in east Rome, a 5-minute walk from Bologna Metro Station.
Score from 621 reviews Very good
The 4-star Hotel Principe Torlonia is in a historic villa surrounded by a peaceful park.
Score from 195 reviews Very good
The room was spacious, warm, and comfortable with excellent WiFi. As a solo traveler, I found all of the amenities perfectly to my liking and suitable for unwinding and catching up on sleep before continuing my travels.
Rooms were comfortable and in general I had a good time in the hotel
One of the worst wifi I've ever had in a (business) hotel
Bus stop right outside of Hotel, short walk to lots of places to eat and shop at reasonable prices. Good choice of breakfast items, continually being replenished throughout the shift. Clean bed linen each day, nice bathroom, nice clean bedroom.Friendly staff.
Our room was at the front of the hotel which was on a busy road and was quite noisy at times, i suppose we could have asked for a different room but we stayed with the one we were allocated. The lift was a bit small but the stairs weren't a problem due to there not being many floors.
Close to 2 metro stops, one of which (Sant Agnese - Annibaliano) is brand new and close to bus stops. It was fantastis coming from a hectic and busy historic center of Rome every night into a very nice, quiet and very safe residential neighbourhood. Around 100 metres from the hotel there is a large supermarket Carrefour. The staff is professional. We asked for a room with a terrace in our reservation and got the best terrace in the hotel (5th floor, big corner terrace, beautiful view). Room was clean, on a smaller side, but we used it only to sleep in and spent the rest of our time walking about Rome. Breakfast was continental and good if you are a ham and cheese person or have a sweet tooth. P.S. If you are coming from Fiumicino airport by train, I recommend taking FL1 train to Nomentana station and then taking a bus (3 stops) to the hotel. The train ride costs 8 euros and it takes around 45 minutes, but there are almost no tourists. It is a local train. Most of the tourist take Leonardo express train, 14 euros, few less stops but it takes you to Termini station.
Room is large in European standard. Hotel is conveniently located with the bus stop right outside of the hotel. The hotel staff in general are friendly.
The air conditioning was not working in the first room they assigned to us. They moved us to another room the next day and the air conditioning worked a little better but we found bugs in the bed.
Helpful staff, good location for public transport, nice neighborhood, with some good restaurants in walking distance.
The bathroom was a bit smelly, which affected the whole room. Once we had the windows open it was ok and we kept the door of the bathroom closed, so it did not bother us too much.
Central, elegant, close to the two main train stations. Very comfortable, clean, great service, amazing breakfast, the pastries come from Italian bakeries (pasticcerie) I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a real Roman experience instead of the usual tourist trap.
This is not very expensive
In reception there is a guy at the morning he's never going good with the people he is no smile no joke
the only thing we didn't like was it turn out that
Really enjoyed the breakfast, the rooms were clean, and the staff was nice.
Location is alright, you would have to walk 5 min to the metro and take it 6 stops south to get into the touristy areas. Finding the hotel at first from the metro was really difficult, you would need a map or your phone to find where it is.
good location, nice staffs, convenient with restaurants, metro station and stores. 房间设施略旧，位置不错，周围有中餐馆和家乐福很方便，前台很友好，愿意再次入住。
not so convenient in always need to log in for the wifi. wifi不是很方便，每天都需要重链，随时掉线随时再登录。。。
Please, work on the breakfast and the language skills of the staff. You can not rate yourselves as 3 stars hotel with virtually no breakfast!
The hotel is good within a decent location. Breakfast is very good. Staff is very good. Elevator is too small. Rooms are quite spacious. Excepot WIFI facility I recommend this hotel very much
WIFI facility is not good.
The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was ok.
There was no wi fi all the time regardless of all the usernames and passwords given to us..... The room was small and was not like the one shown from booking.com.
Hotel's look bathroom cleanliness Free wifi
Location, had to take the bus all the time Breakfast could have been better
1. Location 2. Cleanliness 3. Service 4. Accessibility
1. Breakfast menu needs to be changed atleast 2 days once. 2. Wi-Fi speed needs to be improved 3. Size of the lift needs to be increased
Cheap, and location is ok
I felt that everything was falling apart, not a well maintained place.
The hotel is nice Typical standard
Far away from the city center Definitely not for quick town visit Breakfast was overcrowed Pictures of the hotel are showing big comfy restaurant area but it's not Poor Wi-Fi
Good sleeping condition, well breakfast
location, poor wifi connection
good personal goog place location near Metro product shop existance near hotel cafees and some restorans
bad internet access
Close to metro and bus stops but far from center
Breakfast was poor, wifi didn't work properly.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and always smelt good. Breakfast was good. Location, although slightly removed from the centre of Rome was preferred by us due to the metro/buses being available, and everything was well priced since we were removed from the tourist areas. The hotel has roller shutters on the windows, which blocked out the early morning sun to allow sleeping in when required, as well as reducing the noise of the traffic.
WiFi needed a new password every 24 hours but this is understandable and not a big issue due to the 24 hour reception. I could hear some noises early in the morning form neighbouring rooms such as showers and toilets flushing, as well as footsteps but these weren't too loud. The hotel was also undergoing renovations while we were there which resulted in some noise in the morning.
WiFi was free but didn't work 90% of the time ... so not useful. Worst part: They lie on you! We had to change our travel plans and asked to leave on night earlier (of a 5 night stay). They told us that it's not possible. Well, it's their good right to do so (also a thing I consider poor customer service). But instead to be honest with us in saying that they won't do it they blamed bookings.com for it. They said booking.com is setting the cancellation rules and booking.com doesn't allow them to alter the reservation. We are talking about a non-prepaid, fully paid to the hotel at the end booking! On a second occasion they told us another lie. While we took our key with us the first day they forced us to leave it at the lobby saying it's needed that the maid can clean the room. SO how did she do the day before? In addition the guy at the night desk (who hadn't seen us so far) handed us the key without any further confirmation. So basically anybody could have asked for the key. As the hotel in general is not that great (Cleanliness is o.k.but could be better) and as the are dishonest I can't recommend this place!
Great location, near a bus stop and in-between two metro stops. Very helpful staff, Mr. Emanuele was excellent and a great help to us in packing our stuff and checking us out when our flights were cancelled. The hotel offers excellent facilities!
