Very good location, room small, but comfortable. Highly recommend for short stay.
WiFi connection was poor.
This was our 2nd stay at Scoti, it's location couldn't be better, walking distance from the station & all the tourist sites. Our double room was large & the heating was on 24hrs a day, which we were extremely grateful for as the weather turned bitterly cold. Plenty of hot water for showers & lovely thick towels. Lastly,Doreen the owner is so welcoming & helpful, if l get the chance to return to Firenze again l will definitely stay here again.
Can't think of anything !
Hotel Scoti is a wonderful place to stay in Florence . So good that I decided to stay more . Is like one temporary home in one of the most charming streets of Firenze and managed by nice Gentleman and wife . For sure, I will return and recommend for all as one of the best places to stay in the beloved Italy . Thanks
Everything is perffect
The staff was very helpful and treated us with big warmth. The room is spacious and quiet in a beautiful old building. The location is fantastic!! The heating was working during winter time and we had also plenty of blankets. We will stay again in this hotel.
-Amazing Staff, delivering breakfast to room was a nice touch -Room was excellent -Great (glamorous) location -Free map -Amazing living room
- Could have done with a breakfast room as eating in room alone wasn't great. In spite of this, as mentioned in the positives, having food delivered to room in morning was nice.
Doreen the owner is amazing, so helpful and is oncall whenever you need. The location is super central and a quick walk is all you need to the ponte vecchio, uffizi gallery and the duomo, perfect choice!
Right in the centre, perfect when on foot in Florence. Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable. Land lady English speaking, friendly and extremely helpful. We'd consider returning if visiting Florence again.
Not the most luxurious of hotels, more a guest house really, but absolutely fine for mini break.
An ancient hotel which has a history over 500 years with a lots fine decorations. It is near the Palazzo Strozzi, 15 minutes to Firenze SMV (Central) Station and 10 minutes to most of the tourist sites in Firenze. Doreen (the hostess) is such a kind and nice lady that makes me feel like not living in a hotel but visiting a friend of mine. I especially appreciated the advice given by her son which allows me to reach the Stadium to watch a Serie A soccer game. Wonderful experience.
Without a tea pot to boil the hot water
Location, Location ,location
Poor break fast
Wouldl stay again no hesitation
The place is perfectly located and has great character. Lovely decor and owner is very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!
The location is right on shopping street, closes to train station, few minutes walk to river. Staff is really helpful, well English speaking. Everything is fine.
The location was really good, very easy to find and the staff was 5 starts. Very helpul and nice :)
Doreen was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The location was marvellous, opposite the Strozzi Palace. Exceptional value for money.
Nothing of note
The only positive was only the location and only the location. Nothing else.
Impossible to find. No street identity, no sign, not a hotel, no doorman, no receptionist. If you don't want to climb over 200 steps with your luggage, the elevTor has room for only 3 people no luggage or one person and two luggage. This is a private residence with a number of rooms. No Ac and extremely noisy side steet wuhich has a parking garage. The 5 euro breakfast is a joke and water pressure allows you to take a very long time if you want a full shower. There is only one staff who tries to make up for all the down sides of this location. The Tv in the living room is from 1970 and the half the light bulbs and electric plugs in room did not work. Would not stay here again. The towels are old and have seen hundreds of washes.
Extremely friendly and helpful owner/proprietor. Location in the high fashion street of Florence opposite the Strozzi Palace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Central location in quiet street near Piazza Trinita. A truly wonderful experience staying here and great value for money.
Easy walking distance from railway station to hotel, and from hotel to many of the important sites. A generous and warm welcome, friendly, and helpful with booking tours, and local advice. A lovely homely atmosphere, clean and comfortable. Situated on second floor, but does have an elevator.
the wonderful location and the very pleasant staff... An excellent job has been done with the fit out of this lovely Pensione.
Doreen is a gem & was welcoming, polite & very helpful after our long day of travel to Florence. Hotel Scoti provided simple clean accommodations in the heart of the city - excellent location!
Doreen was extremely helpful
The noise of Florence in the morning.
Excellent location, excellent cleanliness, lovely hotel owner 'Doreen' with good welcome & lots of local practical advice. Good valve for money considering the super location, walking distance to everywhere.
No great facilities for breakfast, except coffee and sweet croissant & cake in your room. Some rooms face into Main Street so could be noisy in early morning.
I went with my mother and couldn't be more perfect. The location is great, the staff is lovely and the building is beautiful.
Doreen, our host, was lovely - giving information about both the history of the hotel and ideas of where to visit (not just the usual sights). Rooms basic but clean, our bathroom was modern, clean and very spacious with a great shower! We overlooked the back of the hotel, a small courtyard below and terracotta rooftops, all very peaceful. I would definitely recommend the hotel. We were travelling as a family with 2 older teenage daughters.
Perfect location. Friendly management
Room was very hot. One fan was not enough for three people
Excellent location. We were able to easily walk to the hotel from the main train station. And it's perfectly located to walk to main attractions. Also although the room only had a fan, even on really hot August days, it kept us cool and comfortable. Best part was our host Doreen who is an absolute star, was always there to help, very kind and hospitable.
The room is very simple, no minibar, aircon or TV. Just a bed, a table to have breakfast at, fan and bathroom. But it was all we required. And there is also a common room for all to use.
