Location, very central. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the price (for Rome) is reasonable. |

Hotel staff very friendly. Location just 2 minutes away from mail railway station was excellent. No complaints. Didn't try breakfast, so cannot comment on that. |

The hotel is very convenient to Termini, the main train/metro/bus station in Rome. The bathroom was updated, which was nice. The price wasn't bad, although I didn't realize there was a steep weekend cost that was very different from the weekday cost I thought I was booking for the whole trip. The breakfast was average - cold cuts, yogurt, cereal, tea/coffee/juice, toast, pastries. Several of the staff were very friendly (one man in particular helped me look up a zip code on his computer for my postcard), although one employee was rather standoffish. Overall, the experience was as I expected - a decent value, great location. The beds were not very comfortable and there was no bathroom amenities. The shower only had half a door, so we kept getting water on the floor no matter how we pointed the shower head, which was frustrating. Also, the blowdryer looked like a vacuum. Lastly, the TV was tiny and did not work very well. The picture and sound would flicker every minute or so and the remote didn't work, even after we asked the front desk to fix it. |

We were a party of twelve who stayed at the hotel prior to a cruise. first of all, I would like to comment about the staff. Rita and Giam Piero were most accommodating and assisted us in every possible way. They were very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and very professional. We encountered problems with a shuttle service, with whom I had made arrangements for transportation to the Civitavecchia dock, and Giam helped us by contacting the company who had forgotten to pick us up. Thanks to Giam we made it to the dock in time to board our ship. The location of the hotel is excellent but the staff was the primary reason we enjoyed our stay there. |

The location is very good . The reception staff was wonderful. Breakfast was better than in the other 4-stars hotel nearby in Rome. There were some small things. For example: the planning of the bathroom, where the paper was too far from the bowl and the soap was very far from the place that it's needed. |

Hotel Selene was fine. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. They took good care of our luggage while we were out touring. Be aware of 2 things: One- make sure you keep your valuables in your hand or on your body. My friend's purse was taken right out of the little alcove that serves as the lobby. When people say there are many thieves and pick pockets they are not kidding! Two- what every you do, do not take the Green Line "hop-on-hop-off" bus. They sell way too many tickets and do not have enough buses for the number of people who have paid to ride the bus. If you go toward the square where the busses stop, you will find people who want to sell you a ticket. Don"t do it. Find a way to get on the red buses- I forget what the line is called. They seem to have more buses and it is not as crowded. You will enjoy your stay in Rome much more if you heed my warnings |

The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was very good. The location is also excellent. I felt, for the price that we paid, a somewhat larger room would have been in order. Other than that, it was fine. |

Position. Bidet in the bathroom (even if it is placed too close to the wall!). Just to be boring there is a lack of light in the bathroom. |

The location of the hotel was perfect, only a couple of minutes walk from Termini Station and about 15-20 minutes walk from Colosseum. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast buffet was okay, more kinds of bread would perhaps have been nice. |

Near to station Termini and the underground; the attentive personnel. Cosy number with the conditioner, a good choice of a buffet, cleanliness, possibility of payment by cash and on a card. Possibility to prolong stay in hotel at some o'clock for an additional payment. Some times the magnetic key ceased to work, but it quickly restored. There was a small refrigerator, but poorly froze, therefore in it left nothing - were afraid that will deteriorate. |
