Very friendly reception staff and very helpful.
Wi-if tended to drop out a lot.
We liked the location. Close to Termini railstation, but hiden from the railstation crowd. We walked everywhere. No need for public transportation. Bed was very confotable. Nice interior design of the room.Nice staff. The hotel ownes restaurant in the street near by where the food is very good.
Reception and the hotel are not in the same building. We stayed there in winter time, so we needed heating, but only heater is old type of conditioner which doesnt turn off when wanted temperature is reached. If you want to turn it off you have to get up because control panel is next to the door. If you turn it off during the night you freeze, if you leave it on you get too hot. Breakfast could be better. Elevator is very small and slow so we used stairway that doesn't have heating, but I suppose that's normal for Italy.
Staff was very friendly and helpful in planning out sightseeing agenda. We asked for a quiet room in the back. Very comfortable with decent wifi. Laminate wood flooring was quiet. Location was perfect as it was very close to the train station. There's also a dedicated train to the airport. Only in Rome for 3 nights, we walked almost everywhere to get to the main sights (except the Vatican). Breakfast included hot food as well with espresso etc.. There is an elevator as the hotel has the 3rd & 4th floor. May be a little harder to find. Use Google "Street View" to see what you are looking for.
Only real negative was the shower. In our room (probably in the others too) there was a tub with a fixed piece of glass that only covered half the length of the tub. The fixed end leaked as the seal by the wall was broken. Also, the valve (faucet) wasn't mounted at the end but in the side-middle with a short shower hose and sprayer. This setup made it a little hard to take a shower. Water pressure wasn't great either.
Hotel was ideally located. Staff were brilliant with advice and were as friendly as can be.
Our view wasn't great and noise in the mornings was quite loud, but that can't be helped.
Friendly staff and cleanliness. The room is with coffee and tea and Toast.
We were in January. Winter month. The floors are extremely cold. And in the room and bathroom (laminate and ceramic tiles). Necessary slippers that we don't brought with us. There is heating but I'm not sure that the remote control exactly correct. Or is it too hot (and noisy) or cold. Location: close to the Termini station but still far from the historical content. We were forced to leave in the morning and return in the evening. However, it is too far away to take a break during the day. For that price - too far. Internet - a disaster. He barely opened pages with photos. For example, Instagram does not. On TV - only Italian programs. and one channel in English, German and French. I think that the city tax (4 euros per person per day) a little too much - the streets are very dirty and sticky.
Everything was perfect. Nothing negative. Definately our choice during our next visit
I liked that you're very central and terminal is very near
The shower is a bit tight
Staff and clean hotel
Breakfast could be better
The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Good location to the station.
Room was a bit small for three people but I would certainly stay here again.
Close to attractions and restaurants. Convinient. Fantastiskt city.
we had a good stay at Selene, the the room was spacious, clean with a nice interior but a bit dark. The breakfast was good although limited. The hotel is walking distance from the Termini and was very near the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus stop. There are also a lot of restaurants within the area. Will definitely recommend and will stay again on our next visit.
The reception is located at the ground floor before the main entrance (outside the hotel). We ended up going to the 3rd floor and 4th floor looking for the reception. There was no clear indication/signage that the reception is located at the ground floor. The building is also shared with 2 other hotels on different floors. Apart from these everything else is ok.
Great location walking distance to main commuter terminal including buses and trains.
Location of the hotel is ideal
Unfriendly, hasty & rude staff shortage of room amenities A/C not working
Wifi is weak and unreliable.
Close to Rome Termini train station. Staffs are very helpful & pleasant
very central and the staff were always pleased to help even before we arrived. We slept with the window open all night and still managed to sleep well. Good choices for breakfast.Would stay again without hesitation. Loved it.Wear comfortable shoes and grab a map and let the explorer out, you won't regret it
we booked excursions from the hotel, the only thing travellers need to be wary of is the fact that you will get left at the tour end.So the Vatican trip says it ends at St Peter's basilica, that is exactly where you will get left.Once you know this you will love it .
The reception is nice and pointed out the most important tourist spots. The maintainence is quite fast. When we go inside the door and the toilet sit are broken, but they have changed it quite quickly. Then there is another problem with the bathtub. It only take less than 30 mins to get it fixed.
There is quite a few things need to be maintained when we first go into our room. The walls are quite thin and we can hear the next door conversation and the others slamping the door. The cover is not as soft as a duvet. It's a linen cover, quite cold at night without the heater on.
1. Very nice, polite, helpful staff 2. Well located 20 minutes from Colosseum 50 minutes from Vatican Very close to the street with shops 3. The hotel staff is very good. Helps in everything. 4. Room was not small. Most importantly all were clean.
We booked a room with breakfast. In the dining room was all clean, but the food was very simple.
Room, location, heating-system, breakfast, kind staff, free wifi.
location close to Termini friendliness of staff
poor Wi Fi connection room not properly cleaned every day breakfast always the same, not fresh croissants, poor quality of coffee tiny rooms suitable only for passing the night
- Rich, good breakfast - Friendly staff - We came after a night of travelling, wet and tired and they gave us the room earlier (very grateful for that)
- Reception not in the same place with the hotel (very close, but we went first to the third floor and afterwards we had to go down to the reception). - A bit dusty in the room (we have dust allergy so maybe we are a bit more sensitive)
The staff and breakfast
Great location, Nice stuff at the lobby.
Same food every day at breakfast, only one small elevator.
