The hotel is very good located. The personel warm and helpfull. Enerything was great
WiFi extremely slow, to the point of being useless.
The staff were excellent and so friendly
It would've been better if the entrance to the main building had a closable door.
Helpful, friendly staff. Spacious room. Breakfast tasty, though it could have been a bit more varied. I strongly recommend it. Will certainly stay there if in Rome again. Thanks.
I arrived 8 am and they checked me in instead of waiting 6 hours so i can check in
If you like to pay for a small box.. This is your room.. Pretty sure I got bed bugs too
Great staff. And good breakfast.
The room for a couple was a bit small. The staff said it was only one available as they had large groups staying and apologised for giving us that room without us saying anything. Not sure if the heating was centrally controlled as we could not adjust. Would have liked at least a couple of dimmer beddide lampshades as well as lighting was extremely bright!!
Staff were accommodating to my needs and while I couldn't stay for my intended duration, I was easily able to alter my departure and check out early. Because of this, I could not experience all the hotel had to offer, however visually, it was very nice. Staff were welcoming upon arrival and were very helpful in showing me the nearby sites on a city map.
Nothing to complain about!
Spacious clean room, very friendly staff, location good near termini and a good base for walking to tourist sites. Also right near the metro. The nearby restaurant the hotel is associated with gives guests 10% discount and we were pleased to find it a quite a good restaurant. So convenient we are there twice.
Breakfast was included but nothing to write home about. Coffee should be avoided at all costs. We skipped breakfasts after our first day and ate elsewhere in search of better coffee!
Booked room for a week. First night and the bed very uncomfortable. Complained and moved, new room great.
Why would you put someone that stays for 7 nights in a room that has not have the new upgraded bedding, in the first place?????
basically we liked every aspect of our stay. if we ever to return to rome or recommend to others, this would definitly be the place.
Very friendly reception staff and very helpful.
Wi-if tended to drop out a lot.
We liked the location. Close to Termini railstation, but hiden from the railstation crowd. We walked everywhere. No need for public transportation. Bed was very confotable. Nice interior design of the room.Nice staff. The hotel ownes restaurant in the street near by where the food is very good.
Reception and the hotel are not in the same building. We stayed there in winter time, so we needed heating, but only heater is old type of conditioner which doesnt turn off when wanted temperature is reached. If you want to turn it off you have to get up because control panel is next to the door. If you turn it off during the night you freeze, if you leave it on you get too hot. Breakfast could be better. Elevator is very small and slow so we used stairway that doesn't have heating, but I suppose that's normal for Italy.
Staff was very friendly and helpful in planning out sightseeing agenda. We asked for a quiet room in the back. Very comfortable with decent wifi. Laminate wood flooring was quiet. Location was perfect as it was very close to the train station. There's also a dedicated train to the airport. Only in Rome for 3 nights, we walked almost everywhere to get to the main sights (except the Vatican). Breakfast included hot food as well with espresso etc.. There is an elevator as the hotel has the 3rd & 4th floor. May be a little harder to find. Use Google "Street View" to see what you are looking for.
Only real negative was the shower. In our room (probably in the others too) there was a tub with a fixed piece of glass that only covered half the length of the tub. The fixed end leaked as the seal by the wall was broken. Also, the valve (faucet) wasn't mounted at the end but in the side-middle with a short shower hose and sprayer. This setup made it a little hard to take a shower. Water pressure wasn't great either.
Hotel was ideally located. Staff were brilliant with advice and were as friendly as can be.
Our view wasn't great and noise in the mornings was quite loud, but that can't be helped.
Friendly staff and cleanliness. The room is with coffee and tea and Toast.
We were in January. Winter month. The floors are extremely cold. And in the room and bathroom (laminate and ceramic tiles). Necessary slippers that we don't brought with us. There is heating but I'm not sure that the remote control exactly correct. Or is it too hot (and noisy) or cold. Location: close to the Termini station but still far from the historical content. We were forced to leave in the morning and return in the evening. However, it is too far away to take a break during the day. For that price - too far. Internet - a disaster. He barely opened pages with photos. For example, Instagram does not. On TV - only Italian programs. and one channel in English, German and French. I think that the city tax (4 euros per person per day) a little too much - the streets are very dirty and sticky.
Everything was perfect. Nothing negative. Definately our choice during our next visit
I liked that you're very central and terminal is very near
The shower is a bit tight
Staff and clean hotel
Breakfast could be better
The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Good location to the station.
Room was a bit small for three people but I would certainly stay here again.
Close to attractions and restaurants. Convinient. Fantastiskt city.
we had a good stay at Selene, the the room was spacious, clean with a nice interior but a bit dark. The breakfast was good although limited. The hotel is walking distance from the Termini and was very near the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus stop. There are also a lot of restaurants within the area. Will definitely recommend and will stay again on our next visit.
The reception is located at the ground floor before the main entrance (outside the hotel). We ended up going to the 3rd floor and 4th floor looking for the reception. There was no clear indication/signage that the reception is located at the ground floor. The building is also shared with 2 other hotels on different floors. Apart from these everything else is ok.
Great location walking distance to main commuter terminal including buses and trains.
