Hotel Selva Candida  

La esmerada atención del conserje y su predisposición a solucionar todas las inquietudes solicitadas. El desayuno abundante y bien atendido. Al regreso de la estadía en el sur de Italia volveremos.

Una estancia muy correcta, un trato muy amable del personal y muy atentos. Realmente muy bien, no está cerca del centro , es lo que buscaba para descansar del ritmo frenetico del centro. Genial

Es un hotel con una relación calidad/precio fantástica. Ideal si quieres estar cerca del aeropuerto de Fiumicino y viajas en coche. La zona es muy tranquila, no parece que estés en las afueras de una gran ciudad.

Hotel muy agradable, tranquilo, con buena relación calidad precio. Excelente el personal, con mucha cordialidad y prestos a ayudar en todo momento, como por ejemplo Florian que se preocupo por un problema tratando de darnos soluciones. Muchas gracias.-

La atención del personal es excelente

La habitación estaba en un 1er piso y había que subir por escalera con el bagaje.

Beautiful, beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Way better prices than anywhere closer to central Rome. Breakfast was nice each morning. It is a bit tricky to figure out how to get there the first time, so here are details: Take the red (line a) Metro to Cornelia station. From there take the 904 bus (towards Bedeschi I think, but not really a concern since the Cornelia metro is the end- point for the line so you can only go the right direction from there) The 904 is a bit tricky to find the first time, but just watch for the 904 and 905 and ask people where to catch it. Once on the bus you'll be on there for quite a while until you get out to more countryside - takes around 30 minutes. The actual bus stop you want is Selva Candida/Basaluzzo. You can ask the driver, but they aren't the most helpful in Rome usually. People on the bus are your best bet and are really helpful and friendly - just ask for the hotel name. You will see the hotel on the right with the huge yellow wall and lights, but it is just 40m before the stop so you need to pay attention. If you haven't done a lot of public transit I'd probably say just take a taxi the first night and then the bus after that.

It is true getting to and from the bus is a bit scary since there is no sidewalk and it is a fast road, but it is a short distance and well worth having a hotel this nice for us (and we did it with a stroller!).

The hotel is very neat and clean. The staff is very welcoming and nice. We booked this hotel for our last night in Italy because it was near the FCO airport in Rome. It takes 15-20 minutes to drive to the airport when there's no traffic so ask the staff about the traffic hours. The staff was very friendly. We missed breakfast because we had an early plane to catch but the guy at the desk made us fresh capuccino and espresso. Free parking and internet. Rooms are nice and clean. Cable TV...

We loved everything! It was a beautiful place, and the staff were amazing. They went over and above to help us with everything and it made a big difference to the start of our holiday in Rome. They really treat you like special guests. We will definitely be telling friends and family, and would go back again. Tobey, QLD

The front desk staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good and the lady in the breakfast room looked after us really well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to relax. A nice, quaint little place.

It is quite a distance to the city, about an hour's travel time because you need to first catch a bus and then the metro. It took us much longer to get back to the hotel in the evening around 6.00 when the trains and buses were full and the traffic was bad. So try and avoid these times if possible.

The staff was incredibly helpful in navigating the area.

Nice hotel, it is bigger than it looks. Friendly staff. It doesn't make any sense to stay here without a car - you will waste too much time waiting for the bus. It is impossible to get to the city by foot. Traffic is extremely hectic in Rome, so don't even think driving the car there. Leave it at free parking. There are two restaurants neaby: to the right named Selva Cаndida as well - nice interior, evthg is delicious. To the left - interior is not so good, but food is a little bit cheaper, but also tasty. Очень приятный отель. Без машины там нечего делать - до города на автобусе ехать все равно, что у нас в час пик((( Есть два ресторана поблизости. Направо, в 40 метрах, называется так же, как и отель. Симпатичный интерьер, очень все вкусно. И налево, метрах в 400. Там интерьер не так чтобы очень, но подешевле, а еда тоже приличная. Завтраки - ничего особенного, даже для Италии. Рядом есть супермаркет, из отеля направо и на противоположной стороне дороги.

Nice mid range hotel with pleasant grounds. Good sized rooms for families. Good location near the main road and excellent stop over location for access to the airport (via the main ring road) rather than staying in fiumicino itself. Reasonable breakfast included in the tariff and good sized supermarket directly opposite the hotel.
