Room okay, bathroom had some minor shortages, such as broken soap dispenser, no basin plug. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was excellent. No outside terras. Smokers have to stand outside. |

I found the hotel very pleasant . The staff spoke English and were extremely helpful with any queries providing maps for travel to Como and advice on where to eat locally. The restaurant food and service was excellent and while we were there there were two singers entrtaining us at dinner and many dinner guests got up and danced creating a fun warm atmosphere. I think one needs a car for your stay - the parking is good. I would have enjoyed a swimming pool . |

This hotel is good for those driving a car and just wanting a place to spend the night on their way to or from a destination. It is just off the Autostrada and easy to find. Also good for those booking late or looking for a budget hotel near Como. Front desk staff very friendly, spoke good English and were eager to please. We had booked a non-smoking room and when we got to our room, it smelled badly of smoke. They changed our room right away. Europeans smoke a lot and this is a hard thing to control, but the hotel seemed to make a huge effort. Breakfast was more than adequate and while the waiting staff spoke no English, they were eager to try to communicate and provide what you needed. To order American coffee, you must say "American coffee" and they will understand what you want. Tv in room had ample channels, but only cnn in English. Free slippers you can take along with you. I used them throughout the rest of our trip. Our room was quiet. Assigned free garage parking. I would stay here again just as an overnighter. Although the hotel is fairly new, the light colored carpet in our room was badly stained (it was in the other room that we switched out from too). Very unappetizing and the impression that you get right away is that the room is dirty. The shower head while I am sure was beautiful porcelin when new was cracked and broken. As it slipped out of the handle twice during my shower, I then understood why it was cracked and broken. Staff should have seen that and replaced it with something more practical. We were three adults and had booked a "triple room". There were 3 single beds which were comfortable, but the wall behind the beds had obviously been designed for a king size bed as there were lights that stuck out from the wall over the 2 beds on the ends so that you could not sit up in bed and had to be careful not to hit your head on the lights if you were to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Whoever designed this hotel needs to go back to the drawing board. This hotel is too far of a drive from any sites. No place to really walk to. As it is just off the highway, the location precludes me from ever staying there for more than an overnighter. |

The hotel was a welcomed find in Europe. The biggest bed I've encountered and enough space to accomodate it. Great value for the money, and it was not that expensive. |

The pre-defined car parking by room. It made parkig easy and secure. The breakfast buffet provided a good selection of food. |

The bed was comfortable and quite big. The hotel claims to be totally nonsmoking, but there were 3 ashtrays and hotel matches in the room and a strong smell of tobacco (althougt to be fair, the hotel offered changing the room, but we didn't think it would help). Body lotion had already been used by the previous guest. There were also couple of hair in the bathtub. |

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient for the motorway for an overnight stop on a journey through Italy. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with nice bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. The rooms could have been a bit cleaner (cigarette ash on the floor for example) and the food and drinks in the restaurant/bar are very expensive but good and convenient. |
