Hotel Sempione  

Really like the location of the hotel - everything is really close, and since I visited Siena and Pisa - close to railway and bus station is really the right choice. Breakfast is excellent: coffee, juice, milk, bread, biscuits, ham, cheese, fresh several types of biscuits, stewed fruit, cereals, fruits: apples, bananas, kiwi, pears. I was surprised by the choice and quantity of food. Room is impeccable cleanliness, hotel staff was friendly.

The only thing I reproach is comfort - rooms are small, the bathroom is small, especially the shower. I do not recommend hotel to people who are very tall or fuller (obesity).

The location at 200m from the central station and very close to the city center, how clean it was and the friendly and accomodating staff. The air-conditioning was a big plus, especially in the scortching heat og August. The breakfast -for italian hotels- wasn't bad either.

It is located in a very busy street and it is very noisy. Not a good choice for relaxation or for families. Also that they didn't change the sheets in a 5 night stay, unless you told them to.

Toilets was clean, bed was nice too. Thank you for the stay. Thou wifi coverage was bad in the room.

All staff were very friendly. Water pressure was excellent. Warm rooms in winter. The tv remote had batteries that worked (I know, odd comment, but in 99% of other hotels I've stayed in, this isn't the case). Mostly quiet. Free WiFi.

Free WiFi didn't work in the rooms, only in the reception area. Breakfast was included in price, although the coffee was terrible. Could hear next door shower as though it was in the same room. None of these are deal breakers for me, though.

The location was great and the staff very helpful.

Was somewhat noisy from street traffic. Had to run the ac fan to drown it out. Once I figured that out I slept well. Hot water was erratic.

What we enjoyed most about this Hotel was the proximity to the centre. We also found the receptionists very helpful and they catered to our every need.

Although Hotel Sempione was close to the centre, which was very important for us, it was extremely noisy and therefore it was very difficult for us to sleep at night.We changed rooms, hoping to solve the problem but to no avail. The breakfast was poor; most of the time the food was not fresh and there was at least one instance when one type of bread roll was as hard as a rock! The bathroom in the first room we had was a bit too small.I Think that some of the rooms need upgrading.

Good location, free wifi internet access, very nixe breakfast, warm and clean.

A weird smell at the reception.

The room was nice and warm (after we figured out how the heating worked). Location was good, close to the train station and the city center. Good pressure in the shower.

The floor in the room was pretty cold, even after we turned the heating on.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The central location placed us within walking distance of 5 to 20 minutes of all main attractions. Fabulous free breakfasts with a wonderful variety of food!

The bed was very hard. The wifi did not work in our room as advertised on the website.

Lobby and elevator are small.

i liked the hotel. the room was comfortable but either too hot or too cold. the temperature was very hard to regulate. Also, the towel heater worked for only 2 of the days we stayed. I would definately recommend it to other people.

I like the strategic place. It is very near to the Firenze station and leather shops. Everything is walking distance and friendly staff I would recommend it to my friend.
