Sempione Hotel  

Very nice and safe family run hotel and restaurant. We felt very welcome and were offered a hotel shuttle to the airport at any time we needed. Our room was more than adequate for our family of 4. I would highly recommend this hotel for family travel on a budget. It was within 10 minutes of Milan Malpenza airport and we will definitely stay here again next time we pass through the area.

A stay at Hotel Sempione includes a free shuttle service to and from Malpensa...just call the the Hotel when you arrive at the airport and 15-20 minutes later a van picks you up and takes you to the hotel. On the evening before wish to leave, inform them when your flight is the next day and a van will shuttle you back to the airport in 15 minutes time. It is very convenient if you have a layover or have to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also has a restaurant which is excellent...from the food I ate and what I saw others eat...I Was very impressed. They offer a cold antipasta buffet...ask to have it heated up in the pizza oven. The desserts looked fantanstic...Breakfast is offered at 6:00am which includes coffee, croissants, fruit and yogurt. The room and hotel was clean and service was very good...this is not a resort, but it is an excellent value for the services offered. Allesandra, the owners daughter, is fluent in English and very efficient and helpful. I would stay here again and maybe save room for dessert

The staff was quick and efficient, and as we were flying out from Malpensa the next day, it was very convenient to take the train to the airport and get a free shuttle from there to the hotel. Although the breakfast is the bare minimum, the restaurant was really very good, and the gentleman who runs it is cool and funny. Transport to the airport the next day was ready and waiting.

I had requested a room away from the incredible street noise when I made the reservation weeks before, but none was given and the restaurant wasn't that full, and also asked for two twin beds, but they were made up as one. Not a big deal though.

We stayed at the Sempione Hotel on our last night in Italy because it was close to the airport. But though it is about 3 miles from the airport, it is in a quiet location. We stayed in an upper floor room that slept four. It was nice that our two daughters had their own room (sepeate from the main space). The ceilings have wood beams and gabled windows, so the upper floors are very charming. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The restaurant is nice, serving a light breakfast of croissant, yogurt, juice, hot drinks and a few spreads (jam, chocolate spread) in the morning.

We also ate dinner there the night we arrived. The food was good, a bit over-priced though. And the owner was impatient and seemed to have a bit of attitude towards us. Was it that we don't drink alcohol? Was our bill not large enough for his likes? Who knows? But we felt slightly put off by our experience there.

Pick-up and return to the airport in Milan was very efficient. Breakfast was fine as was the dinner in the restaurant.

Остановилась в этом отеле из-за близости к аэропорту Мальпенса. Номер чистый. Одно только не понравилось. Отель находится возле дороги и соответственно был слышен шум проезжающих машин даже несмотря на закрытые окна и жалюзи. Завтрак стандартный был: курансаны, джем, йогурт, сок, вода, на выбор сделают кофе или капучино. Проживание в отеле предполагало трансфер в аэропорт. При регистрации интересовались во сколько доставить в аэропорт. Персонал вежливый, приветливый)))

Ci siamo trovati benissimo nell'hotel Sempione. Eravamo di passaggio e ci ha fatto comodo poter riposare una notte prima di continuare il viaggio in auto fino a Bruxelles. Le due stanze comunicanti, per noi e I nostri figli, erano pulitissime, comode e molto belle (con le travi del tetto a vista). Abbiamo parcheggiato nel parcheggio privato e quindi abbiamo potuto lasciare il resto dei bagagli in auto per tutta la notte. Per cena abbiamo potuto scegliere tra un menu` di primi, secondi, ecc. Oppure la pizza (decisamente buona). Buona anche la prima colazione. Nel caso dovessimo ritrovarci in zona, ritorneremo senz'altro in questo hotel. Grazie.

We hebben met 7 personen een overnachting gehad, niemand kon gewoon niet tevreden zijn over dit hotel, meer zeggen we hierover niet.
