Everything was excellent.
The hotel is in a marvellous location. The service is excellent - the moment we walked up to the reception, the employee whipped out a map and marked off the best local sights, restaurants, and shops. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and quite sufficient in variation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island!
Nothing. Everything was the best! We're going back soon!
Charming little hotel, a few steps down from the main road. Good location
Room is simple, stairs everywhere so dragging suitcases is a drag. Quite expensive for what you get like everything on Capri
Great location, off the small piazza/ bus stop and short walk to Ana Capri village with great cafés, shopping, gardens and churches. Many great restaurants / fruit veg stands nearby. Most charming guest house / modern and serene B&B with thoughtful and courteous local family staff who offered great insight and concierge assistance. Continental breakfast, coffees and espresso to order, outdoor patio seating. We had connecting rooms with our teen kids, 2 baths, minibar, AC, cable tv, free wifi, shaded planted terrace with flowering trees & beautiful view overlooking the sea. Could have done with some more hooks or drying racks for our bathing suits & towels - otherwise just perfect.
Wonderful location, it was so beautiful there, and nice to be in a more low-key area than the super over the top areas in Capri. Large and comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. Very close to buses to go anywhere on the island - including the Blue Grotto. Very pleasant terrace. The staff was so nice and helpful - really went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time and experienced the best of Capri. Very pleasant and delicious breakfast as well. Some tips: - Take the bus to the blue grotto after 17:00 when the boats have left, and if it's safe, you can swim inside - so special. Afterwards, go for a drink and watch the sunset at one of the bars down there. - Nice fruit shop on the corner and a great pizza place up the street - we had a fantastic takeout dinner on the wonderful terrace at the hotel. - Definitely go for a hike! really nice walks to the southwest of the island with amazing views and places to swim. Wow, I want to go back!
We came in high season, so it was quite expensive, but seemed to be in line with the other options on Capri (as opposed to prices on the mainland) - so really, nothing bad to say!
The rooms were beautiful, the view was beautiful, the staff was beautiful and the town was beautiful.
Shower was leaking and water pressure low. Not a big deal.
This is a very clean hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. It is on a quiet street away from bars, but walking distance to the pedestrian area with shops and restaurants. The bus stop is very close with buses to Capri and Grotta Azzurra. We had a very relaxing time and could have happily stayed longer.
I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who may have difficulty with steps or stairs. It is a short way down a hill and there are stairs down to reception, but bear in mind that the whole Isle of Capri is up hill or down!
We stayed 2 nights in the connecting double bedrooms and had a great time! We're a family of four and the 2 bedrooms were spacious and each bedroom had it's own bathroom! There was even an outside sitting area which was really nice. The hotel staff was very helpful in giving advice on what to see and how to get around. The breakfast was very nice, with eggs, ham, fresh juice, and some really tasty pastries. The staff even made cappucino for us. This was our favorite hotel (among 4) in our europe trip.
Hotel is just nicer than it looks in the pictures. It makes you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive, with its nice view and lemon trees around incl. your own balcony. Vincenzo and the hotel staff is eager to make their guests happier and are very helpful with their recommendations for travellers.
Absolutely great hotel, located away from the downtown noise. The staff was extremely helpful. Great WiFi connection. The room was very good, with a great patio just outside our front door. The bathroom are a bit small, specially the shower; but was functional, I can't complaint. Great restaurant recommendation from the hotel staff. Very to close to the bus stop. Really easy to travel between the hotel a busy Capri/Marina Grande.
Nicest hotel staff ever encountered. Free bike rental made for a great way to discover the surrounding area.
Friendly and helpful staff, good location.
The "economy" room is in fact a room in a basement with a very small window.
Best location, 1min from bus stop to grotta azzurra and faro, very near to the main street in calm and pretty area. breakfast is not great but fine, rooms are clean and pretty.
The location is perfect, very calm but close to the small centre of Anacapri. Clean, spacious rooms and lovely terraces with beautiful views. Best of all - the very friendly, helpful staff who always made us feel welcome!
Breakfast had no whole-grain bread or vegetables, but compared to other hotels in Italy it was still very good.
The location and the view from my room facing Monte Solaro and the water. The owner and rest of the staff are excellent representations of this hotel. I loved for the fact that it was extremely clean and the outside of the building is very white. The breakfast was heavenly, fresh and different everyday, the owner makes a wicked cup of coffee (get there early to ensure you get a taste of everything especially the lemon cake). If you arrive via Marina Piccola in Capri, which most people do, the drive to the hotel is spectacular and its only about 10mins by bus (1.80euros). What I like is the peacefulness of the hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist and traffic. Try to stay at least 3days here to relax and just savour the atmosphere of this once in a lifetime opportunity at a place that you would never forget and crave to go back to.
I can honestly say that there is nothing I did not like about fine establishment.
Friendly staff willing to support additional requests
Breakfast was unusually sub-standard
Very quiet location with regular bus service to Capri/Grande Marina. 2 very large connecting rooms with very comfortable beds. Generous breakfast and owner was extremely helpful with all our queries. Great value for money!
This was our first time to the Isle of Capri. We love the quieter Anacapri side. Our host and owner, Vincenzo made us feel so welcome and comfortable, with a nice room and balcony. Just a few steps from a small piazza with a market and restaurant and bus stops to everywhere, and near a pedestrian area for shopping. All the locals are charming and can either communicate well or will do anything to assist you. Really felt welcomed and safe. Charming beyond words. A bit of paradise!!
Friendly and Helpful Service.
Number for the address is #6 not #10 . They need to up-date their website information.
I thought the staff was very kind and eager to help us. We had an odd situation with some clothing items left in a shop we had previously visited. The front desk was gracious enough to help us and get the problem solved. Their breakfast was simply wonderful. The bedrooms were clean and spacious (included a patio). The location was quiet and residential which is something I usually prefer.
The hotel was very clean and very plain. I liked it this way. The guy who was working the front desk when we arrived was amazing. He gave us tips and pointers of things to see and do in Anacapri, which was much appreciate for a first time visitor. He recommended the light house at sunset and it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The location of this hotel is a little far and kind of hard to find, but the bus stops right by it so it is not hard to get to. The breakfast the next morning was very good as well.
Bed was hard, but that was minor.
Excellent hosts; friendly & helpful. Relaxed atmosphere & good position - very near a bus stop for access to all parts of the island.
Bed a touch too firm for our liking but no other dislikes!
Not a lot . Owners were nice but the hotel lacked a lot .
Night manager spoke no English and was extremely rude .I have a 10 year old daughter who he reduced to tears . Breakfast was average . Airconditioning didn't work and no wifi in the room.
We spent 5 nights at Hotel Senaria in Anacapri in July and had a great time! The room and bathroom was modern, very clean and it was nice to have an outdoor terrace. Air condition with individual control worked very well in the summer heat. There was a minibar and the staff didn’t mind that we took out the content and used it as a fridge for our own water/sodas. Bed was big. Previous reviews about too small shower we disagree with, shower is big enough for a normal size person. Cleaning was done discreetly every day, always when we were out of the room. Towels were changed every 2nd day or if we put them on the floor. Breakfast was served until 10.30 am, very good with choice of several things. They always asked what we wanted to drink (cappucino etc.) and even fresh squeezed orange juice at no extra charge. The first day they asked if we wanted something else and it was provided the next morning! Big plus for several choices of fresh cut fruits and yoghurt. Seating in a nice, clean breakfast room or outside terrace. Staff at hotel and breakfast was very nice and helpful. At check-in in we got several good tips on what to see, how to get around and restaurants. Location in Anacapri was very good. Quiet at night, outside the busy tourist area. In the evening it was much locals out in the streets. A short walk to the cosy pedestrian street in Anacapri with several shops and restaurants (cheaper than in Capri town). Walking distance to the Monte Solaro chairlift and Villa San Michele, short bus ride to Grotta Azurra. Bus to Capri, Marina Grande and Lido Faro stopped a few steps away and it was easy and cheap to get around the island. The bus stop is Piazza Caprile, about 3-4 stops after the driver shouts out ”Anacapri” when arriving. When going in direction Capri or Marina Grande it was no problem to get a seat before the crowd enters at Piazza Vittorio. Right by the hotel at Piazza Caprile is a small grocery store.
Room size a little small and bed a little hard (but this is common in southern Europe). But it was really not a problem and we had a great stay in Anacapri.
Staff was informative and very friendly. Great breakfast. Good location next to shopping area.
Showers wrere very small and confining.difficult to get to from the port with luggage .
