There was a problem with the warm water...there wasn't any WiFi and I needed it in order to study for my master final exams! And last but not least, one day we came back late at night and the room's door was opened! The answer was that the door is old and the cleaner of the room obviously hadn't closed it properly...
It was close to the Termini station
No safe in room Very spartan no furniture.
near everything but in a peaceful location
wifi very poor in room!toilet was broken and the bath not comfortable!
the position! the rooms are very clean the breakfast very tasty!!
A few directions from rail station would have helped.
Enjoyed the host and being woken by the ducks from across the way.
Don't expect everything to go smoothly at your arrival, the reception and the hotel itself might be in different locations depending on the type of room you booked. We booked a bed in "serendipity" but were actually hosted in "palma", confusing. The only receptionist was overwhelmed and nobody was sitting at the desk to open the portal when we arrived. Don't hesitate to try another doorbell if it happens to you.
Very friendly receptionist, talked multiple languages and was very eager to help. The room was cleaned everyday (bathroom included) and the view from the balcony was amazing. The wifi worked without interruption. A very pleasant stay!
Breakfast is offered to another building – café 5 min away and it is quiet poor (only cafe and a small croissant). Also low-speed wi-fi at the room.
Very clean room and quiet, pleasant atmosphere, 5 min from the metro station Termini, good for couples, friends and families.
The wifi was pretty poor.
1. We arrived late, no answer at buttons with the sign serendipity. You should push Palma residences buttons 2. Very thin walls 3. I asked 2 times for a reciept, both times he looked at me with annoyance and finally gave me a "look like" reciept but with no stamp or vat number of their company 4. He wanted to prepaid him
1. Location 2. Comfortable clean room 3. Even though the breakfast was at a bar we found it good idea to do it in such place
Breakfast is in another location.
Clean and quite near termini station
Wifi was very slow. Breakfast was a 5 min walk from the hotel and not brilliant (though it did get you out of the hotel to get on with the day).
Superb location: 5 mins walk from the main station from the airport (Termini) which was also only a few stops from Colloseum, Vatican etc. as well as lots of excellent value restaurants nearby. Room and bathroom were modern, clean and perfectly adequate (even if the bathroom was very small). I'd definitely recommend it as a perfect non-pricey hotel for basing a week of sightseeing.
Entrance is complicated. Serendipity and Palma residences are probably the same company. Because you need to ring on Palma residences bell not Serendipity, and lots of same keys for opening doors. Btw guys who works night shifts was rude and not nice(I am first time in this hotel we dont know were to enter :S...)
You can leave bags at reception, before coming in room and after leaving room. It works 0-24h.The room was new, everything clean and modern. We get room at first floor called Flaminia. The guy who works day shift was very nice, he also helped me carry bags. And you have fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, big plazma TV and Wifi at room, and near Termini station. :)
The building is old. It is easy to hear the sound from top floor. The wi-fi is not working most of the time. The Indian staffs are not so helpful.
The location is very nice, near the terminal train station. The room is quiet. The price is good.
Not easily found as the hotel is part of an apartment block with a small gated entrance. This would have been difficult to find if arriving late at night.
Close to the main train terminal and Metro links so easy to move round the city. Clean and spacious rooms with air conditioning and comfortable beds. Good value and quality resturants in the budget area.
It's perfect place to been in rome. The area is calm it's close to Roma Termini, but there's no people there. It's very calm and the building with gardens is excellent. The breakfast is just something for drink and something to eat( for example croissant), but for that price it's ok. I recommend for sure this place for everyone who want to visit Rome and any type of tourists.
The use of wifi is limited. But who needs it all the day when you can get an Italian SIM card for 20 euro which allows you with the Internet-surfing almost without limit?
Very convenient address. Close to Termini and the Metro. The staffs are properly friendly. The rooms are clean, a little small but very comfortable. This building is an old typical italian style which goes along with the impression of Roma.
Staff was extremely rude and wasn't even available to buzz us in the door, so we were stuck outside. Bed was not comfy at all, just an old mattress
Price was excellent! Room was clean and renovated. Location was very close to Termini train satiation, which was a plus
WiFi was not working.
Perfect attitude of stuff (especially the cleaner) and privacy.
Wifi works only in the reception, so if you need use it you have to go there.
When we arrived to the reception, we heard that our room had been changed in to another building. Even thought the building was quite near, it would have been nice to know this in advance, so we could have checked in to the right building straight away.
Location is excellent and the room we stayed in was tidy and sufficient. Staff was welcoming and always very helpful. I think that when you are booking an accomodation which is this affordable, your expectations can't be very high. To that note, I have to say that we were positively suprised.
i got a room in a different hotel (in rome) but i think all of them are the same. walls were very thin, so loud at night. breakfast is not at the hotel but in some bar, i did not use it
very close to the train station, big room+ bathroom
we had to get up every morning and pick up a ticket from the reception (a verry rude guy btw), to go and have breakfast in a dump 10 minutes walking. some sort of cafe was it. and breakfast was a tiny coffee and a super small and stale bread thing. it was an embarassment. the room was stinking, all our clothes where stinking afterwards, and when you opened the airco the smell coming out of it was unbearable. also in a very bad area and horribly noisy, with the windows open you couldnt hear yourself talking. absolutely horible.
