Perfect place in the center ...
The room was well cleaned. The location is very convinient. I needed to get the airport early in the morning, it was easy to find shuttle bus.
WiFi was not very good. The breacfast was early from 8-00 to 9-30, but the food was not fresh.
Location, location, location
Poor breakfast. Quite pricey
The location is useful for several reasons: it is very close to Termini Central Train Station (less than 10 minute walk); the street is not circulated - so you can sleep excellent; nearby you can find food on any budget (grocery store; Arab, Pakistani, Thai locanda; Italian Restaurants low or high budget) On foot: The Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore 5 minutes; Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martyrs 10 minutes; Colosseum, 15 minutes; Trajan's Column 20 minutes, the Roman Forum and the Capitoline 25 minutes Ratio price / service is more than excellent for Rome It is the fourth time we come here (since I discovered this location I gave up looking different when we come to Rome!). We recommend you sincerely.
The rooms were part of large apartments that were shared. It is possible that some of you feel a lack of privacy.
The place is really near the Termini station which is the central station in Rome. No hotel curfew as we tag along our room keys all the time. Wifi's not bad. Bed is ok. Shops and resto's all around the area (yes Footlocker!).
Sergio made me pay in CASH, they didn't even mention this at Booking.com. Luckily I can withdraw money with my debit card. The lift is ridiculously narrow & not suited for oversized people and wheelchairs. And btw there's no reception or counter. If you need something inside you need to call him with a door intercom & you're in bad luck if Sergio's not around. Although he gave instructions and advise how to get around Rome, he made it too quick, too short, as if he's in a hurry.
Location Close to restaurants Very quiet
Breakfast could have more selection, and Scott towels to dry dishes
Can't beat the location. Easy access from Termini metro. Nice quiet area with a courtyard
Don't expect any response to emails. All of ours went unanswered. Breakfast was terrible. Sergio was only there for check in and to get our money. No other staff spoke English
Very secure facility Location is close to many sites
After check in, we rarely saw any staff Site says towels are supplied, but we never had any hand towels
great reception & assistance, location & facilities
Price was a big factor for us when looking for a place. This was pretty much the cheapest one we could find in the center of Rome. We also appreciated the simple, but complimentary breakfast with toast and butter/jam.
The vicinity of Termini is packed with immigrants. On every corner there is someone trying to sell you a hop on-hop off bus trip, umbrellas or souvenirs. I guess this is what some other reviewers have called "dangerous" earlier. I didn't mind that this is not the cosiest and cleanest area of Rome in return for an affordable price. But the fact that the space was shared was too much of a nuisance. There are three adjoining rooms for one shared bathroom. Our flatmates invariably left puddles inside the bathroom/toilet. In the morning they occupied it for hours on end, leaving and returning repeatedly. Anything they did in there was painfully audible, robbing us of a peaceful sleep with flushing, banging, creaking, hairdrying, noseblowing and cawing sounds. Next time we'll surely choose a slightly more expensive but private space.
No kettle & stove in the kitchen, very old furniture !
I liked that it is close to the metro station.
I don't like Termini because it is dirty and smely (not the hotel, the metro station and general area).
Very close to Termini trainstation. Easy to find.
Good location near train / bus stations. Twenty min to colosseum. Clean room with modern bath .
Very uncomfortable beds, very poor mattress. Breakfast credit in nearby cafe consisted of a coffee and what seamed like a day old pastry.
- Location is very good next to the Termini - Clean and secure
- Didn't take card for payment - Didn't see any staff after money was taken -Breakfast is a complete joke. Its at a café round the corner, after being offered only coffee we were told water or orange juice was extra. Then given stale croissants at 8am!?! Didn't go back for our next 2 mornings. - Beds are awful - Just pay extra and go somewhere else.
Location near train terminal
Too many staires for our room. Poor breakfast down the street. Still waiting for reimbersment of pre paid room.
The Italian feel to the place. Lovely people. Nice gardens, Big airy room. Tiny lift. Quiet but in a busy street. Closeness of buses, trains and all the main attractions. Kitchen well stocked for breakfast and room to keep own food in fridge.
Mattress was lumpy on one of the beds. One shower room/toilet was a bit difficult when everyone was wanting to use the room at the same time, especially when there are 7 people staying in the flat.
Cost is really affordable, rooms were cleaned everyday, comfortable bed, location is really good
Very small rooms. Actually hotel is small apartments in condominium.
Location 5 minutes walt to Roma Termini train station is very convenient. Tram and subway station nearby. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. WIFI works good and Sergio explains a lot of things that you should see and how to get there.
Breakfast ist very basic, but ok for the price you pay. Cleanliness needs to be improved.
close to train station and tram, lots of restaurants in a safe feeling area. use of kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Owner pleasant and very helpful
weak wi fi signal and mattress
Rome is a lovely city to visit as there is so many sights to see and great places to eat. The history and charm is quite breathtaking and so many iconic things to see and do!!!
When in Rome.....well you can't expect too much luxury if you're traveling on a budget. Still I thought our room was a bit on the small side and you are pretty much left to your own devises once you had checked in.
Price not according to value ! Poor breakfast ! Poor service ! Noisy room ! Unlucky to stay here .. Spoilt our holiday !
Great for the price. We loved the courtyard. Sergio was very helpful.
