Lots of room to spread out, but 2 of the bedrooms are very small, just enough for a bed. Nice private outdoor space. Excellent staff.
Its a bit of a walk into Florence. Keeps you away from the crowds, but also a bit inconvenient if you want/need to be closer. Kitchen is very small.
-Loved the rooftop terrace. Awesome views of Florence. -Good location, 10-15 minute walk to Pointe Vecchio along the river. -Friendly staff. They were very proactive about finding out our arrival time and adding a crib to our room after our arrival. -Clean room with complimentary breakfast basket.
Parking - this is more of a Florence issue but finding parking to unload our luggage was a bit problematic.
We needed a kitchen and this was perfect for us. Close to attractions and confortable.
Street noise being vlose to the busy street.
Bathrooms were great. Rooftop deck beautiful
The second and third bedroom did not have windows. More like a closet.
The rooms are well designed. Facilities are excellent. Location is great.
Nice big room, given basically a suite with a full kitchen. Could walk to all of the attractions in Florence in minutes
There was a very potenant sulfer smell in the building. I think the room was dusty as some of the furniture is older and my allergies were acting up. The bed is not very comfortable (like sleeping on a box spring) which was composed of 2 mattresses put together with a gap in the middle
Lcation, quality of room . Good wi fi.
Staffed only 4 hours a day on average so virtually no service, not one English language tv channel, normal amenities lacking, air conditioning turned off at night, must check in by 6 pm and out by 10 am.They are cutting every corner to save a buck. One example: ran out of toilet paper with no back up and no one on site to call. A basket with coffee but we didn't know it wouldn't be replenished. One small shampoo bottle not replenished. So second day no Tv, coffee, shampoo or toilet paper . Won't go back.
very nice apartment, spacious and clean
we had quite noisy apartment due to street in front of it
It was clean, spacious, excellent wifi, free parking out front, and laundry facilities. We would definitely come back should we visit Florence again.
Bed was a little firm for our liking but not a deal breaker
Magical view of Florence from the Belvedere Apartment balcony, excellent sized apartment and wonderful warm, helpful and attentive welcome. Great communications before arrival and since our departure too, thank you so much!
Everything was awesome
Excellent location (you can park your car but at the same time you are very near to the historic center), an appartment that provides everything (even dishwasher and possibility to wash clothes at the basement), very good wifi.
View overlooking the river and city center. Very clean and spacious Onsite laundry
Location was really nice, in San Niccolo area a bit away from the tourist routes. The apartment was superclean - I'd definitely recommend this to everyone.
Perfect place. A bit of a walk to town but the view is worth it. Bonus use of laundry facilities!
Did not like to leave. Wanted to stay longer
1. Parking was available in front of property at no additional cost 2. Laundry facilities available - very handy for us travelling with a toddler 3. Good views across the river from our rooms (Belvedere + Bargello) 4. Location was a short walk from nice restaurants and the key sights but on the quieter side of the river 5. Wi-Fi very good 6. High ceilings in Bargello - very spacious and comfortable. Using sofa bed in the lounge area, could easily accommodate 4 adults.
1. Reception was only available for a few hours in the morning and not on Sundays. As we arrived late on Saturday night to Florence, we weren't readily able to get answers to our queries. 2. Belvedere - Access to room was via a steep/narrow flight of stairs. Although the balcony has great views, I would not recommend this room for anyone with issues with stairs and definately not with a toddler. Also lower ceilings in this room than Bargello. Not as comfortable. I personally would not like to stay in the windowless rooms in this apartment but it would be a good way to reduce costs. 3. Rooms with views likely to face main road so can be noisier. Didn't bother us but useful to note.
We were upgraded due to a traveler wanting to stay a few days after his booking. We were given a suite which was nice.
We thought the patio was accessible to everyone and not just the people on the roof. The website does not make that very clear. Had we known that, we might have looked elsewhere to stay and not paid as much as we did.
The roof terrace.
Not the best for self catering
Apartment was beautiful! Easy to get bus. Loved the balcony. Loved laundry facilities.
Very noisy facing the street. Also lights came on when someone passes to bathroom in middle of night.
The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you could need including laundry facilities. It is not too far from most of the main attractions. Daniellla and her staff are very helpful and speak English.
Can be noisy from the street if you are in a front apartment.
Everything! Our host Daniela went to great pains to ensure that we had everything we needed. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment which had sensational views over Florence. Words cannot express just how fabulous our stay in Florence was.
Excellent location and the staff were very helpful.
It was all great.
Nice, big comfortable room and bathroom. All the amenities are outstanding!! Even the basement where is the washer and dryer if you stay long and need this services. Read the website carefully. If you need to cancel they will charge full price even if you give weeks of notice . They also debit your credit card with the full amount of your stay right after your booking way advance of your arrival.
Finding parking almost impossible at the neighbourhood .I paid 40 euro daily in a parking house.
Charming hotel/apartment with European flare. Every room was big including the bathroom. We had a one bedroom apartment with a private balcony room 11. The place is an easy walk to downtown but just far enough away to get away from some of the craziness. The kitchen allowed us to have breakfast in the room and we enjoyed wine and cheese on the balcony in the evening. You can walk from the train station to the hotel but I wouldn't recommend it dragging suitcases. That was probably the longest distance we walked during our 6 night stay and it takes about 30 minutes to walk/stroll. Many tours meeting point is around the train station.
With only approx 12 rooms /apartments their is not staff there 24 hours. If you need assistance or directions do get it when you check in or at least make sure you know the hours when they are available.
Good location, the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are without a car, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. The old city is on walking distance 10-15 minutes, depending where you would like to get. The train station is 20-30 minutes away by walking. We were in the Signora apartment (the one with the small balcony facing Arno river), which has a great view of the city. Free Wi-Fi is available also. Definitely would recommend!
close enough to the center of the city(5 minute walk to Ponte vechio), in the same time very quit area Well equiped studio
to much noise from above apartment, when the other tourists left the building in the early morning
