Firstly, when we got to the hotel we were sent to another one called Collina Inn, without even getting some explanations. The receptionist's( of hotel Settembre 95 ) English level was low and we couldn t communicate. The location of the new hotel was very good near to a metro station (5-10 min) and the room was nice. But we didn t have hot water and the breakfast was very poor.
The location of the hotel. It was near to Piaza Republica and the Metro.
Breakfast was awful. Manager couldn't speak a word in English except from "Yes" and "No", also she was rude. The room was extremely small. The bathroom flush was broken since the day we checked in but she fixxed it in day three.
Went to find that this guest house is located at the 4th floor of a building. Main door of building locked, had to intercom and some lady came and opened door, and while taking us up, she instructed us how to open main door, use the tiny lift, open the apartment where the rooms are, total 3 keys and a lift dongle was given in. Place is very tiny. The lady runs the place all by herself. Reception open until 6pm only. The room we got was very small, the toilet were too tiny as well. Bedsheets were not clean. We requested to deposit bag for 2 hours, was refused. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
the location,friendliness of the staff,cleanliness,breakfast.
There are everything that you need in the room even refrigerator. The room was clean and the location was perfect. Also, good diversity of breakfast.
I was in this hotel with my family. Honestly, if you want to ruin your vacation I advise you can go there. I have not seen more rude person than the reception lady. when I arrived and called in my impression was she did not desire us to come at all and very rudely finally managed to say "ok, I will come down to let you in". she left my wife with the baby and pushchair to come to reception from the lift, no help whatsoever and nearly shouted at my wife when she rushing after her did not even have time to close the door of the lift. I clearly stated I am coming with children and the hotel policy is "family friendly" but she treated the children horribly. during the breakfast she was sitting in the kitchen with the guests and observing every guest how much food they were taking. after one asian guest took second croissant she nearly attacked him stating every guest is only allowed one croissant per breakfast. I am really sorry for that person as I saw how humilliated he felt. that's pathetic. Honestly, I advise to think million times before booking the night at this hotel. it's not worth it.
The hotel is not far from the metro and located near one of the main streets. The room was equipped with all necessary facilities as fridge and air-conditioner. We also liked the breakfast.
They use an air freshener or cleaning fluid with too strong smell while cleaning rooms. Once you enter you feel hard to breathe. You go out and the smell still follows you for some time.
Room had strange smell and everything was very cramped. after first night our air con controler was removed from room and when I asked for it back, host said no and shut the door in my face. VERY RUDE!!
The location and the cleanliness of the room
The internet never worked ! The lady running the place is really rude. She was acting as if she was giving the place free of cost to us. She was pretty rude when we told her the internet is not working. She just keeps saying "I don't know". So if you don't know, then who does? Would not stay there again or recommend this place to anyone else!
- very central
- No one knows about the "private parking lots" which are in the hotel description - Very loud (ok, middle of Rome, thats normal) - Very very unfriendly, i had to threat with the cancelation of the reservation to receive some answes - WLAN only working on the edge of the door, in the room there is NO connection at all. - Parking lot at a secure garage costs about 60 EUR for two nights
Location is really the only thing what your paying for in the case of this "hotel". And there is very nice gelateria on the opposite side of the road where ice-cream is being produced right there and one can watch the process.
HORRIBLE! 1st of all the lady at reception does not speak any English which brings pure confusion though she pretends understanding. It was funny and absurd to get answers that were out of topic. And there is always a feeling that she wants to get rid of you asap. 2ndly, rooms are super shabby and stinky. Pillows are smelling smb's sweat. Air condition does not work properly. Breakfasts are extremely poor made of only packaged food. Moreover, some of products are expired. The day of check-out according to common practice we asked to keep our bags untill the evening but we were rejected what made us spend sm more money and time for luggage deposit at the train station. I strongly do not recommend this b&b unless the only feature you are looking for is the central location.
Location is not bad - not far from Termini, 1km from Trevi. Usual italian breakfast (flakes, cookies, yogurt and coffee). For 72 euros per night - tolerably.
WiFi didn't work in the room. You have to wait 5 minutes for warm water in the shower. And the street is VERY noisy - be ready.
It was very derty
The only good thing about the hotel is the location whereas in 2 mins walking you can find metro station Republica
Staff was not polite and not willing to help. Staff does not speak English. No reception available 24/24. Breakfast very poor.
The locasion is good and safe, it was warm (we went winter), clean, nice decotation, nice price
The breakfast was the same every day and only some sweets not very good and only 1 cup of espresso and the communication with the lady not very good...she gave the inpretion that we can t ask for anything maybe it was her bad engish she is n t Italian
Nice area - central location, 10 min to termini, supermarkets close. The room was warm, with all the comfort as shampoo, aircondit., towels. The lady on reception ( the owner) is very nice and friendly, she let us check-in early. Absolutely recommended for stay with children.
Breakfast, only sweet stuff served, No ventilation in the bathroom, Difficult to communicate in English at the reception desk
come and meet the staff lady maria was the worst person in my stay in rome very unpolite, unhelful very bad manar to treat guests , she made our stay very bad in that place, I think booking should send her a notification to change the way that she meet the booking guests
room was very clean and cosy. Air-con worked very well. Good-feeling B&B, and Maria made us feel like home.
Staff.Bad noise isolation. Internet connection not stabile. Breakfast ultra-basic. Pillows uncomfortable.
The location of the B&B is perfect to visit the city. The stuff is very friendly and accomodating.
The space for breakfast too tiny and dark. Breakfast to improve in terms of choice, no fruits. Interior design. Too many keys to access the room.
The B&B is situated in the central part of Rome, in a safe area. You can reach most of the tourist attraction places by just walking a few minutes. The lady is very kind, nice and helpful. It is a good value for money.
