Hotel Shackleton Mountain Resort  

Spectacular scenery from the rooms and the dining room, the food was good value for money as normally hotel food is inflated and we found it to be the same as the restaurants in town and actually better considering the atmosphere/view/and quality of the food, centrally located hotel, rooms always spotless as was the rest of the hotel and the rooms were very spacious. David and Fior were excellent hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. I would say from looking around the town it was definitely the pick of the hotels. We visited in Summer and would love to go back in winter as the mountains look incredible. The solarium bar upstairs is fantastic.

We used the laundry service which was outsourced and for a medium sized bag it cost 92 Euros!!!!! We were very unhappy with this as felt the hotel staff should have warned us of the excessive cost. We were told the price list was in the hotel room but we read all literature and didn't see this. The hotel paid half the cost as we were so unhappy but still it left a sour taste. We would have done it ourselves had we of known, Also the cost of the garage 10 euros was not obvious and we wouldn't have used it if we had known as there was plenty of outside parking. On the website booking.com it says Shackleton has a pool and is the only hotel that does however this is incorrect as the pool is run by the council and is next door and costs 7 euros per 2 hours. You can access it from the hotel but I don't think this counts as a hotel pool as it is a separate business.

Senz'altro la cortesia, la disponibilità, la professionalità con cui vengono intrattenuti gli ospiti. Ottimo hotel per pulizia, servizi, e ristorazione. Consigliato a tutte le categorie di persone singole,coppie, e famiglie di qualsiasi età. Dell'ottima musica di sottofondo vi accompagnerà in qualsiasi angolo dell'hotel Vi trovate.

Week end stupendo in una struttura di categoria superiore. Posizione meravigliosa e vista mozzafiato. Titolari molto gentili e disponibili alle esigenze del cliente, camere spaziose e pulitissime, ottimo gusto estetico. Ristorante molto romantico che sia affaccia sul comprensorio montano, di eccelsa qualità con piatti tipici e cibi preparati sul momento, cantina vini molto fornita...(sicuramente uno dei ristoranti migliori del Sestriere,,,) Il tutto correlato da un ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo.

Personlig service fra Davide, intimt. supert, kommer gjerne tilbake pga dette hotellet.

La chambre spacieuse,et très propre.

Insonorisation moyenne, petit déjeuner, le café n'est pas en libre service, mais à demander au bar, et il nous est servi un expresso au fond de la tasse, pour un petit dejeuner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
