Everything. The hotel was deserted and the room was extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. We arrived during breakfast and had a coffee and a pastry. We were charged €15 each for a full breakfast. The hotel boasts in its write-up a location close to the centre. The shuttle bus was a good 20 mins drive to Firenze train station.
Everybody is wonderful, helpful and it's a great hotel. I keep coming back to this hotel for more than 10 years. I like everything about it.
It's not that I don't like it but for future success of this hotel I think that the rooms can get a little update. Again this is not a negative remark it's just an advice. I will come back no matter what.
Spacious room, very comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom.
Too far from town even though they provided a shuttle.
We booked this hotel as a stopover on our way to Padova. It was listed as a Sheraton so we made some assumptions. When we got there the next day it was no longer a Sheraton. The shuttle service to the centre of Firenze was excellent.
No internet in rooms. Convoluted code even for public areas. Musty rooms. Grounds completely unkept. A sad place. Prices for breakfast were expensive for very poor quality.
The website indicate hotel as Sheraton in which is misleading as was told by the staff that the hotel has no relations with Sheraton. It gives customer a wrong expectations of the hotel too.
Shuttle Bus was very difficult to find. Deposit was not returned yet.
The hotel is ideal for those who go to Florence with a car only. A very good choice at an affordable price not so common for hotels within Florence city center. I will indeed go to the same hotel again if I drive a car to Florence. I have been to a number of other hotel in Florence but this one was the most acceptable considering the service provided. One can not find a hotel like this in the city center at such price levels.
The hotel is quite far from ANY place in Florence. You definitely need a car or a shuttle service to reach the city center. What seemed so strange to me was that this hotel has been part of Sheraton chain, but now looks rather abandoned! Not the usual livelihood you usually expect from a hotel in this category!
It was clean and roomy...great view from room..decent workout room
Distance from town ...wish there was more shuttle options
i was not aware that the hotel is no longer a spg property as they were booking the rooms as Sheraton, the chcek in staff was not courties, nor did they offer any spg benifits, the internet in the lobby was poor speed, the breakfast was very basic.
The hotel is old but still preserves the quality of old days. It is a high quality hotel from 90's. The personnel is professional.
Wi-Fi is not free and even if you pay it is not very reliable.
It was clean. Staff was pleasant. Very basic toiletries. It was easy to find after exciting the A1. The parking and shuttle to city center was very convenient. Shuttles left exactly on time and took about 25 minutes each way with either 24 or 15 seats. Upon arrival you walk up the ramp and find yourself at the far end of the train tracks. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from where you get dropped off to the corner of the train station where the under street passage is.
Wasn't a 4 star hotel. Pretty basic. Didn't check out the bitstrips due to negative comments read. I wouldn't stay here if you want to visit the sites. It would be much better to stay in a central location than rely on their shuttle which only stops below the train station which for someone who isn't familiar with Florence is very inconvenient (last shuttle returns a little after 9 pm)
The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. They had a free shuttle bus to the city and back which was great as it's situated out of the city.
You had to pay 12 euro for 24 hours of internet and after paying I had to go back down to the reception to get them to set it up on my laptop. TWICE - there is definitely a problem with their provider and as I needed it for further bookings the restrictions, difficulties and cost I felt was not necessary especially seeing it is included in the majority of places
Most staff helpful.Tidy and clean.
Wifi only available in lobby.Swimming pool not able to be used but was advertised.
Free shuttle service to/from Train Station was very helpful. The room was very good. Nice place. Formerly a Sheraton Hotel.
Breakfast was so-so, but that seems to be true everywhere else we traveled.
- Internet on reception: disaster - extreeeeemely slooooow - breakfast: poor in quality and quantity - shuttle bus: if there is too many people to get back to hotel, no one cares... do whatever you want. You have to blast your way out, otherwise you will be left in the city.
Waitress named viktoria Was so nice and kind and helpful
The man responsibile for the breakfast
poor breakfast, hotel environment
Price, shuttle to/from centre
Very ordinary rooms with poor furniture and facilities. I couldn't believe that here was a Sheraton. The room actually the complete hotel was "cold" as the central heating wasn't on. I don't know whether this is hotel's policy or a law but it was cold.
Free bus links with Firenza centre.
Charges for WI-FI-most places WI-FI was free. Charges for meals too high (eg breakfast 15 euros).
The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Double bed was huge and there was a bath tub! we loved it.
There was no wifi in the room, but you can connect to wifi in the lobby for one hour only, if you ask the receptionist! There was a construction going on while we were there and the corridor was messed up.
The free shuttle bus into the city centre is good. Free on site parking and easy to find location right off the highway.
The shuttle bus is free, but it drops you in an obscure location in town. The times for the shuttle bus are limited, and at peak times the seats fill up quick, and the next bus is sometimes not for several hours. The wi-fi was advertised as being available as part of your stay, but upon arrival,we found you had to pay for it.
Large rooms and very nice staff
Far from the city, Wi-Fi was not free, breakfast was expensive for what they provide
