Very good sleeping experience Once I had the smoke issue the staff helped
Someone smoked in the non/smoking room.
Very friendly staff.
Prices for food and drinks in the hotel slightly above acceptable.
swimmingpool and staff friendliness and relaxedattitude
Breakfast staff the design
No public transportation No food near hotel No shops near hotel
Location was handy for airport but far enough for the aircraft not to be intrusive. A shuttle bus service to Roma city centre was excellent. Hotel staff were extremely competent and friendly. Breakfast was excellent along with the helpful staff. Restaurant was excellent along with the helpful and knowledgeable staff, a special mention goes to Lorenzo, who made our dining experience delightful, thank you.
WiFi, should be free throughout the hotel complex and we had problems with it in the lobby area during our stay. For some reason within the Roma area hotels suffer from drainage smells from the shower areas of bathrooms and this is the case here also. Rooms in general are very clean but are showing signs of wear and need updating.
Cost of the internal bar
The location was good for the airport and the city. Ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle.
Some staff members are not well trained in customer service skills. At times they appear quite rude, they should not be working in a service industry .
Nice room. Good air.
Overpriced food and amenities. We were charged additional euros for room even though we were prepaid.
Was located close to the airport and bus into the city was a plus. Staff were competent in English and outside area was relaxing.
We had great difficulty with the swipe cards for the room. They took a lot of getting to open the doors and twice we had to get fresh cards
Cleanliness, breakfast choice, internal shuttle bus.
Internal restaurant has crazy prices. Poor alternatives around to dine out if u don't have a car. Room doors too noisy when closing... I woke up hearing the "BAAHM!"s
quiet location, good facilities, shuttle to city centre
quite a distance from city centre
best value for money and professionalism of the staff.
Nothing at all.
We had a rental car, so distance from city center didn't matter. If no car, there are regular transfers, but we didn't try. Breakfast is good. Bathrobe and slippers were nice to have. Surprisinly, the parking was free, but I'm not sure it is all the year round.
The most suprising was the sink+tap in the room - when water in on, splashes are all around, impossible even to wash hands without getting wet:) And shower door was letting some water pour out onto the floor. But this doesn't spoil the overall impression.
Shower impossible to use because that would flood the floor. Bar staff doublecounting.
There were many good things that I would like to praise, but my contact with the housekeeping, see next box, left a bad impression.
I had informed the hotel that I am allergic to polyester and similar products but that cotton, wool or feather would be fine. They had assured me by mail that I would get a room according to my needs. When I arrived nothing was prepared. I had to wait several hours before they gave me a room "free of polyester". It then appeared that nevertheless the quilt was marked "100% Polyester"! After further delay they had found some other material that turned out also to be artificial. I finally had a very bad night and they never solved the problem. The staff at the reception was helpful and friendly but never solved the problem, probably because the housekeeping was incompetent. Allergy is a major problem for many people but many hotels use artificial products. They should at least be able to provide cotton/wool/feather on an individual basis - and many can but why not Sheraton Parco de' Medici?
Great hotel, excellent level of services and comfort. Also great value for money if you can find a discounted fare. Very nice hotel staff, great breakfast.
The position, although the location itself is very nice, is in a suburban area very far from the center of Rome, and close to FCO airport. To be fair they provide a free shuttle service to the city center, but anyway it's something to consider.
Great location and facilities between Rome and airport - have stayed here several times over ten years
This time instead of main facility - we were sent to an outbuilding without familiar facilities in rain and poor conditions - granted we booked late but we're not told this would be the case - not happy about this inconvenience
Location, price, security & cleanliness.
Raining :-), pay for internet. Also didn't know a shuttle was available for guests until my last day. (But, I could have asked too.)
The kindness of the staff
We stay at this hotel regularly for business. The hotel has improved its customer service considerably in the past three years and is now well managed. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We actually checked out of another local hotel on this visit mainly to get the benefit of air conditioning which is both available and works, which is not the case in all Rome hotels.
The breakfast area can get a little crowded in the mornings but overall we were looked after well as we know many of the people who wait on tables and they know what we like for Breakfast and provide it quickly.
Very clean, rooms were very large and modern, breakfast was good too
Attitude of one staff member, too far from city and charge for shuttle. Had to change from one block to another the following day as they were having a car rally and closed the whole of block 3.
Location, since I attended a fair inside the same hotel. Quiet and nature around it.
The long lines at the receptions, the incredibly expensive parking fees (24 euros per day for an open air lot, probably unguarded), incredibly expensive mini-bar (4,8 euros for a 0.5 lt bottle of mineral water), expensive wi-fi inside the bedroom, awful breakfast (we had to wait 20 minutes for clean coffee cups), I did not dine at the hotel restaurant, but my collegues told me that the dinner at the hotel was terrible. It seems to me that the hotel seemed inexpensive for a four star hotel, but they charge you extras anyway they can.
queue at check-in (staff is too low and not enough of them) queue at check-out (staff is too low and not enough of them)
Very nice golf course in resort. Shuttle bus to the centre of Roma. Nice swiming pool.
Parking for guests 2 EUR per hour = 48 per day :( Normal is for example 15 EUR per day for Guest and 2 EUR per hour for others. and WIFI 11 EUR per day :(
room was big
water drain in a bathroom was bad
