It's clean and reasonably comfortable. It has a great view over Palermo and the valley it lies in. It is 5-10 min walk to Monreale's amazing cathedral. Superb breakfast room overlooking valley. Breakfast good for Italy.

There's not much info at the hotel so: Tourist info is under the arch on the right if you are in the cathedral square with the statue of Mary. What looks like the bus stop has been "suppressed" so you need to walk down the hill along Via Benedetto d'Aquista to Via Fontana della Drago. Bus is 20 min to Palermo. Cab costs €20. Best food: Bricco & Bracco or Taverna del Pavone. Cab to airport €40-50. San Martino della Scale is closed for repairs.

In a good spot with a truly amazing view of Palermo and surrounds Very friendly service ; I was able to speak French with ''Roberto'' who looked after us superbly. It is a very Sicilian hotel atmosphere, friendly and relaxing at a reasonable price.

The Hotel is a little tired in appearance, though very clean and comfortable The access is along a narrow street, with tricky driving for Brits ! It would have been nice if it had an evening meal facility

The situation of the hotel is fantastic, incredible views from front facing rooms across Palermo and the sea beyond. The public rooms are from another era, charmingly old fashioned which just adds to the hotel's unusual character and makes it a different, but wonderful place to stay. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious but the toilet awkwardly placed, especially for the elderly. The breakfasts a little sparse but the view from the terrace made up for that. The management pleasant and helpful. We would love to go there again!

The hotel is difficult for access along a narrow road full of parked cars. But we got there ok! Access is no fault of the hotel, blame it on the motor cars which really shouldn't be there! No different from so many Italian towns/cities.

Very large, and beatifull room. 5 star class bathroom.

It's location good for Monreal but not Palermo.

Beautiful situation with tremendous view over the countryside to Palermo. A good place to stay to see the stunning cathedral of Monreale.

It was quite difficult to find. Parking in the town is difficult and for restaurants etc you really have to leave your car in the hotel car park and walk .It's about a 15min walk maybe a problem for some. A minor point -a bit disappointing breakfast for the money as the orange juice was very watery as was the coffee.

Location was great. Clean room and amazing view overlooking the city of Palermo. Free parking and only a short walk to Monreale.

Fantastische Aussicht über Monreale und Palermo vom Zimmer und von der Frühstückterrasse. Guter Parkplatz auch für größere PKW (größer als der typische Fiat). Wir sind erst abends um 22:00 Uhr angekommen und der Empfang war problemlos, freundliches Personal, ordentliches Zimmer, sauberes Bad.

Anfahrt führt zum Teil durch eine enge Gasse: Aussenspiegel einklappen empfehlenswert.

Die wunderschöne Lage mit weitem Blick auf Palermo und das Meer. Und die Hanglage in Monreale mit abendlicher Kühle. Ein Haus mit besonderem Stil und überall erlesene Keramikböden. Freundliche Athmosphäre. Zehn Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum von Monreale, dort gute Auswahl an Restaurants und Bars usw. 20 Minuten mit dem öffentlichen Bus nach Palermo. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Exkursionen in die Umgebung. Für uns (3 Erwachsene) war es eine ideale Unterkunft.

Stadtrandlage mit Panoramablick auf Palermo und Umgebung, deutsches Fernsehen (zdf), ca. 15 Min. Fußweg zum Zentrum von Monreale mit herrlichem Dom haben uns besonders gefallen. Im "Tabacchi" (Tabakladen) kann man Bustickets für die Fahrt ins Zentrum von Palermo kaufen. Die Haltestelle befindet sich vor dem Ortszentrum,weil durch die engen Straßen kein größerer Bus hindurchpaßt. Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist zum Teil museal, aber auch etwas abgewohnt.

Posto tranquillo con parcheggio grande in una citta' dove I luoghi di parcheggio sono preziosi.Vista panoramica stupenda su Palermo. Ottima base di partenza x visitare Palermo che si puo' raggiungere molto facilmente in bus.

nous avons aimé la situation dans la ville de monreale, un peu à l'écart du centre sans en être trop éloignée ainsi que l'accueil très aimable à la réception. Excellent rapport qualité/prix !

Dommage que la connexion internet ne puisse se faire dans les chambres...

Un gioiello con vista splendida sul golfo di Palermo e sui tetti di Monreale dominati dalla rinomata cattedrale. Una perla di gentilezza e di savoir faire d'altri tempi. Ci ritorneremmo subito!

Ambiente familiare, accogliente e gradevole, Albergo con vista dominante sulla città di Palermo, il mare antistante e le isole Eolie Buona ed abbondante, la colazione della mattina. Motorbikers welcomed :)

Sin duda, su ubicación .pocas veces hemos estado en un hotel que tuviera tan espectaculares vistas ,en este caso de Palermo,tanto nocturnas como diurnas.La paz y el silencio son maravillosos

Es un antiguo hotel,que debe haber sido lujoso en su momento, pero esta muy DESCUIDADO,humedad en las paredes,lamparitas quemadas,plantas muriendo de sed,óxido en las rejas,sillas y mesas desteñidas,,manteles arrugados.El desayuno bastante pobre y el personal,con el mínimo de cortesía.Hasta nos reclamaron que nosotros pagábamos menos por Booking que lo que ellos cobran.

Qualche problema se si incrociano altre macchine nei 500 metri che separano l'albergo da Monreale.

La posizione con una stupenda veduta sulla "Conca d'Oro", anche se questa è oramai quasi tutta edificata.

Tv con segnale scarso (non si vedeva); chiavi di accesso alle camere vecchie e tutte uguali; Colazione: bevande di qualità scadente; no caffè espresso, no frutta, no yougurt. Strada di accesso strettissima !!!

Proximité du dôme de Monreale, très large vue sur Palerme, confort et charme un peu ancien, accueil sympathique. La difficulté relative d'accès (étroitesse des rues sur une forte pente) est compensée par les avantages du site.
