Siena B&B Hospitality

B&B Hospitality seems to be a network of independently operated rooms in Siena. We stayed in the Duomo building. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a 10 Euro taxi ride from the train stazione. Our host (Walter) spoke perfect English and was very helpful in helping us navigate through the town and region. The building facilities included a kitchen and an internet terminal. Very comfortable, great location. We would definitely stay there again.

Excelent location (place F)

Station of buses under windows (place F). For a breakfast only coffee with cruasan.

The manager was very helpful at all times and carried our bags up the stairs, can you ask for more. It was convenient to everything and the coffee shop across the road for breakfast was excellent.

The feeling of authenticity and the location, as well as experiencing "something else", not the "usual" hotel; element of surprise.The staff was extremely nice and competent.

The stairs and "up-and -downs": we were just coming from a long trip (plane + trains) and we were exhausted; we had to walk around the city with our luggage, which was not very convenient. It would have been write to adress us directly to the location of the apartment.

Great location central to all attractions. Very well presented and in excellent condition.

No control for air conditioning windows had to be opener so very noisy. Very por attempt at breakfaST, no coffee in italy!!!!

Comfort and size of room offered for the price. Ideally located for visiting Siena sites. Kitchen facilities at no extra cost which added to the comfort and convenience. Free use of the internet again conveniently located. When we arrived we were shown immediately to our room without having to wait everything was done efficiently.

There was not a 24 hr reception although a number was made available in case of emergency.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was nice. It was centrally located where we could walk to all the sights we wanted to see.

This appears to be a new operation and they are working hard to work out the bugs. For instance the light and fan goes on automatically when you step into the bathroom, but it went off all of a sudden when in the shower because the motion detector could not see someone was using the shower. The use of keys needs to be rethought also, as some guests leave doors open that should have been locked to those not using the premises.

You should make clear that the parking is outside Siena, and also that the buses do not stop at the parking (Ai Tufi), which means that the only solution is to take a taxi. It was very inconvenient and expensive. You should find a better place for people to park their cars.

Rooms were big!! And beutiful! Host was helpful. We wished we stayed more than 1 night

Breakfast was average

Staff were helpful with restaurants etc. Clean spacious modern room.

The main hotel rooms were over a very busy road, and it was extremely noisy. Our nights were pretty bad as the first night we slept with the windows open and were disturbed by people going home late and the delivery vans in the early morning. The next night we slept with the A/C on but there was no control to change the settings and it was absolutely freezing, and as staff were only at reception for a few hours each day, we could not ask anyone for assitance. We were both very tired in Siena! The rooms are not tidied/ beds made unless you stay over 3 nights, and at the price we were paying, I thought this should've been better. The room itself had no character, and although very clean and comfortable, could've been in any country.
