the staff the bar and the terrace the breakfast
the showers looked really old and weird no locker
Good beds. Free wifi and internet access. Extremely helpful staff.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, easy access to the old town, relaxing atmospheren, very clean, and they offer shuttle services for just 2€ on the weekends! !
The girls dormitory shower had no hot water and the windows were left open with no screens. There for, I slept with moths and other insects.
Couldnt have been happier with my stay at Siena Hostel - the amazing staff, the chilled common areas, the fresh croissants, Abramo the dog. And the wine, oh, the wine. Go!!
The location is good and also the price is good.
The hostel is very dirty! The showers are awfull! They have large windows without curtains, everything is covered in dust, the flor is partialy black instead of original white. Without any hangers or anything to put your clothes while you would like to shower. Luckly I manage to hang them on the door hook. Also i was trapped inside the toilete because the door was stuck! Luckly for me a lady manage to open the doors from outside. The room was't clean either. This is for me a big minus! How can you not clean the bathrooms for you guests! Awfull!!!!
big room. friendly Staff
People working there, awesome and cheerful people!
The hostel doesnt have a kitchen
Good for large groups of travellers
Out of city centre and bus times aren't great. Bathroom facilities are poor. Breakfast is technically not self-serve. Not great for solo travellers.
The staff were wonderful! So helpful, always willing to give advice/directions, etc. Really nice atmosphere in the hostel.
even it's a bit far from center but is really nice to stay there, clear, quiet, nice staff, good choice
The staff were friendly and provided valuable knowledge about the bus network to get downtown. I was supposed to be in a 8-female dorm and ended up in a 2 person room for the same price!! Wish I could have stayed another night.
Far from the downtown but not a problem with buses. Mix of travelers so it might be difficult to meet people.
easy going and helpful staff
Staff are very friendly, which frankly speaking is not that common in hostels in italy, the hostel is spacious and clean. Good to chill for a couple of days
Its so big that it is hard to meet other travelers. You have to take a bus to siena
Far away from the center. You can use bus N 10.
The Hotel was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and seemed to be newly refurbished. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!
The building has just been renovated, it s immaculate, the rooms are big and bright with brand new beds and private bathrooms, each floor has a lounge, there arewalls between bunk beds so u have some kind of privacy. It s all amazingly clean.
It s too far from the historical city centre, it takes 45 minutes to walk into town, and at least 20 minutes even by bus because it goes all around.
staff were great, very helpful, rooms clean and beds very comfortable, breakfast very good.
I like the fact that it is a affordable hostel - value for money as it comes with daily breakfast- the hostel is clean too... The spacious I like too and the staff very friendly
The wifi which you can't access from the room and everytime you need to login in to gain access... Lack of ladies room outside the dorm rooms... A hassle as you need to climb two stairs up or take the elevator before using the washroom... They should have additional ones downstairs near the reception. I didn't like the location... Abit far from central... A hassle to take bus and I not good with direction... Have to alway the driver for direction ..good thing I wrote to hostel for clear diection to hostel.... Others may find below useful in getting to hostel: 'if you arrive at the railway station just outside on the right you ll find the bus stop. You can take the number 4 stopping at the bus stop named FONTEBECCI. If you arrive by bus, you can direclty stop at the bus stop FONTEBECCI. Otherwise if the bus leave you at the main bus station in the city (GRAMSCI SQUARE), you can catch the bus no 35, 36'.
it was fair value for the money (Siena is rather expensive) but consider to spend a bit more to have better comfort. far away from center but nice area.
toliets cleanliness was OK but standard is poor bunk beds (i have asked for a twin/double)/ no info about bunk beds in the the offer description
When you travel to Siena, you should choose this hostel, not only because it's the only hostel in Siena, but also because it's just perfect. Very clean and comfortable. There is a bar open I think all the time and huge breakfast every morning. It's just perfect.
very nice staff, conveniently located, free parking always available.
the shared bathroom, very clean but no changing room, shower area facilities very poor (need for at least a couple of little chairs or banks for the clothes) ... ahh !! and a "watch your step" sign on the way to showers. Hotspot internet
Staff are great, helped out in anyway possible, clean toilets, quiet at night, breaky was tasty and free so enjoy it, safe area, good parks and pizza cafés, chilled out hostel, check out is great you hang around till you need to go, buses out the front, takes no time getting to the centre. Have fun because we did, cheers guys :))
Nothing.. It's a great place. I'll be back again
since the first moment I entered the hostel I find happiness, all the people there were laughing, the stuff were welcoming and you don't get the feeling that that's a place of work for them but a place of enjoying
There was no soap or shower gel in the shower area, nor a place that keeps my clothes dry while I am taking the shower
+ Friendly and helpful staff. + Clean rooms. + Computers available and even printing possible for free. + Good WIFI, but only in common areas.
- Localization is not walking distance- a bus needs to be taken to the city centre (about 1,2 € per ticket, more at the driver). However the bus stops are very near the hostel, which is a plus. - In women's bathroom 2 of 4 toilets had broken locks. - Breakfast - not much choice: only rolls/croissants with jam or milk with cereal possible. - During the night every noise from the corridor could be heard.
Really nice people, the staff was helpful in any needed way. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning on the terrace in the sun is always a nice idea. Free pc, wifi, all needed info. Cool!
