The Twentyone is a modern boutique hotel on Via Cola di Rienzo, one of Rome's best shopping streets. Castel Sant'Angelo and the historic center are just a pleasant 10-minute walk away.
Score from 1360 reviews Very good

Rooms are a bit small
Location and room
Cleanliness and staff
Staff were a little uninterested, could have been more accommodating. Room was a little pokey.
Staff were wonderful, really nice breakfast, lots of room in the accommodations we were given.
The halls had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, some of that came into our room. Was a little noisy when sleeping.
Great location, in the heart of the city. The staff were so helpful, couldn't be more polite and accomodating, Shopping, resturants, and tourist attractions really close by.
The location is very great for shopping and city travel.
The hotel is a little bit poor, equ
Great location! Close to Spanish Steps! The breakfast was very good ! It included capaccino's! Amenities were great! Staff were polite and helpful!
Can be a little noisy from one of the streets although it was a Friday night! Guests can be heard when speaking in the corridors and accessing their rooms!
The location was great. Near to many attractions i.e Spanish Steps, Fontana Di Trevi
Not spacious bedrooms
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was newly decorated and updated. Terrific breakfast. The location was great for tourists, and close to the metro for business. Good restaurants close by. I had a room with a doorway onto a small patio area, nice for fresh air. Air conditioning was important for summer. Internet connective was among the best I've known.
While close to many tourist destinations, the crowds just outside were a bit wearisome for a business traveler. The room was well designed in a functional sense, but a bit small for a business traveler.
Very good location and nicely designed rooms.
Soundproofing is non-existent - one can hear everything what is happening outside the room starting from early hours in the morning. The bed is way too hard and relatively small.
The location is just perfect. very close to spagna station and at the middle of the touristic area. 1 minute from spanish steps, couple of minute from trevi fountains and the hotel is just in the middle of everything; u dont even need transpostation to visit the various parts of the city. the breakfast was simple but good. The size of the hotel is small, the rooms, the elevator.. typical italian size! the staff were helpful and welcoming. they provided a car for transfer to the airport on time and for 50 euros.
The room was terrific. It had 2 bedrooms for the 3 of us. My husband's sister was with us. The lobby was beautiful. 3 of the 4 men at the desk were extra helpful. The other one just didn't seem as knowledgeable.
Our shower needed a minor repair. There were tiles missing. We had some trouble with the a/c system too. We never asked for help but I'm sure they would have assisted us.
Location amazing! Was told it was small but really wasn't- not huge but ample space. Really clean, nice rooms, helpful staff!
Fantastic location, very central. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lift in hotel extremely small so made carrying cases up and down very awkward
Siena Hotel was a perfect choice. Small and sweet room, clean and tidy, brand new toilet, comfy bed, adequate variety of breakfast food, polite staff. It's 3' mins away from Fontana Di Trevi and 10' from Spanish Steps. There is also a supermarket really close and generally the neighborhood is really nice and picturesque. It doesn't remind anything of modern Rome which is very good!
Just because i have to say something negative, I will comment on the coffee. I'd expected to taste cappuccinos like never before in Italy, but we didn't enjoy a single cup of coffee we had. The coffee at the hotel was horrible (but then so was every other coffee we had during our trip, so maybe it's me).
Location is very central + room is renoed
No internet. They play a game saying that it is temporarily low signal but if you depend on it...tough luck. No elevator. You drag your suitcases up the stairs.
Best Location you could ask for in Rome. Staff is fantastic, specially Renato.
The rooms weren't clean enough, we even found cockroaches. For this reason they upgraded for free to a suite, but it was dusty and air conditioning didn't work well. Not up to expectations for a 4 star hotel.
location & stuff
it is NOT a 4* hotel
The location of this hotel is great- right in between the Spanish Steps and the Trevvi fountain. Really clean hotel and great staff. Hotel room was quite dark but given the time of year just made the room feel cosy.
Would have liked feather pillows
Location is amazing Staff is very helpful and nice Loved the place
The location is great, the rooms are newly designed and very clean, its also quiet.
The room and bed are very small.
The beds where not comfortable. Pillow tops (mattress pads) where missing on the beds.
