Hotel Silla  

The location of the Hotel Silla was excellent, so close to many of the essential tourist sites but not in the hurly-burly of downtown. It was quiet, the terrace is gorgeous,very decent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff, speedy WiFi. Just great!

The pillows were a bit too squishy - but that is real nit-picking! And the only thing I would change.

We had a booking for 2 nights and had 2 rooms, a standard double and single. Both rooms were very comfortable and big. The hotel is decorated in old fashion and is very beautiful. The breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. The hotel is located near the city center and is 5-10 minutes walk to major sights and 10-15 minutes by bus to the train station. Overall a very good experience. Would definitely book it again for next trip to Florence.

if you have a car that bigger than a medium size it's strongly recomended not to use hotel's parking))) The gates are too narrow. WiFi is free but not good signal, especially in the room.

I think this hotel was advertised as 3 star - however my friend and I thought that it should have been more! Everything was so good - the staff were so helpful the hotel itself was brilliant. We had a room looking towards the river which was great and had plenty of room (I believe the ones facing the street at the back were a little noisy) and so was the terrace where we sat in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine and nibbles. We had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone heading to Florence.

We had stayed there before and enjoyed it, especially because it is convenient to the attractions on the "other" side of the Arno.

The location was convenient in a beautiful setting near Piazza Michelangelo rooms were spacious so was bathroom hotel was very clean staff friendly and helpful breakfast plentiful good restaurants close by.

It was still quite expensive and the directions on booking.com were not correct - it is not on Piazza Piti but off the bridge after the Ponte Vecchio off Piazza Mozzi. We wasted a lot of time trying to locate it. There was also a lot of noise from the floor above our room in the middle of the night which sounded like furniture being moved around or packed away.

Locatrion is good close to the main attractions yet outside of the noisy crowdas, all the staff at the hotel very friendly, hotel nice and clean. Nice location for a short visit to Florence.
